  1. Last I heard, Beaker was still recovering from that test tube explosion. Animal, especially after drinking that special growth potion, is a heck of a value in the 6th round.
  2. Last week they said the Jets and Packers were very interested in Turner. We then learned that only two teams have real interest. Sounds like the SD Tribune runs a pretty good propaganda machine.
  3. When the bills drafted Everett, I thought it was a gamble. As it turns out, He is just a gambler.
  4. Ohhwaa.......Tahgooooo.........Siam.....
  5. I'm not sure who Adrain Peterson is, but I'm sure he would be just that if we picked him. Sounds too much like Atrain, whom we already have. Adrian, on the other hand, stirs up memories of Rocky's pet-keeping wife.
  6. Daymeion Hughes is not fast. He ran in the 4.6 range at the combine.
  7. Maybe Chicago wants Russell. If Washington could get him, maybe Chicago would then trade Briggs and some other picks?
  8. It was a must read back when Joel Buschbaum wrote it. I read it once a year or two after he died and found it to be disappointing.
  9. Now now... That's all water under the dam.
  10. Both of those guys were fools!
  11. I think you may hit the nail on the head come April 28th. I see LB as our most likely #1 pick. Carolina @ #14, Pittsburgh @ #15, and Cincinnati @ #18 all are in need of linebackers. If you trade down too far you may get stung! For argument's sake, lets say S.F. takes Willis at #11. Maybe we have Poz rated our #2 LB. We probably would have to take him even if it is "too early" based on the talking heads. Kiper only has two LBs in his top 25 (Willis @ #17 and Timmons @ #25). I can just hear him now ripping the Bills for "reaching" on a LB at 12 and suggesting we should have traded down. That theory may look good on paper but if you get too cute trading down, you may be left with nothing good to pick!
  12. I'm going to be attending the draft this year. I have to say, If the Bills take Poz (note Poz reads better than Pos )at #12 I might just lose it and run up to the commish and plead with him to skip over our selection while we reconsider. I'm not saying Poz stinks, he's just not the reincarnation of Shane Conlan, nor is he another Brian Urlacher, nor is he another A. J. Hawk. Levy said he wanted "attacking " linebackers and I'm not so sure that describes Poz. I realize I base this reaction on judgements made by various draft analysts that mostly rate Poz as a mid to late first round pick. I do, however feel pretty good about our scouting department. If the scouts, Modrak, Levy, Jauron, and Fewell all come to a concensis that he is the best guy for our D and if they are absolutely convinced that he wouldn't be there if we traded down, then I would apologize to the commissioner as I'm dragged past the taunting Jets fans on the way to jail.
  13. I wonder what kind of jack a blogger makes?
  14. Paup was a great addition at that time. I remember him playing real well in the playoff game against Pittsburgh, but that was the game that Bruce Smith missed due to the flu. Had we had them both that game we probably would have advanced.
  15. Dameion Hughes ran a 4.66 in the 40. That is kind of like turtle slow for a cb.
  16. "Do you mind if we dance with your dates".
  17. Cinderella story.....Oh wait....wrong movie.
  18. Okoye probably will go in the top 10 but I hope he slips to 12. Posluszny more likely will go in the mid to late first round. I could see him being a Levy pick. He talks a lot about moving down in the 87' draft and picking Shane Conlan. Poz has some of the same qualities.
  19. A rocket surgeon..... Isn't he one fart smeller?
  20. I think a more likely scenario would be for a run to occur on defensive ends and watching Denver try to frantically move up to get one at #12. Trading down to #21 and still getting a top notch LB is possible plus it could net Denver's two third rounders or their second rounder and the eqivalent points for their forth rounder (which was already traded away). The Bills would then have a lot of flexibility to move back up into the first or move up or down in the second to get targeted players. I would much rather see this than trading up and casting all our eggs in one basket, so to speak.
  21. Does one have to agree not to hack into their system and steal their draft board?
  22. Best: Conrad Dobler (Nasty SOB) Worst: Booker Moore/Perry Tuttle (What were they thinking?)
  23. Jason Campbell plays for the Redskins. Lang Cambell is not their long term answer.
  24. Anybody in the know?
