  1. I think the Dolfelons are smart by staying away from Coles. How long would it be until he wants more money? Holds out? Do we really want another headache in Buffalo? Coles a headache!
  2. It's terribly unfair to have given him a new contract.
  3. Another excellent cheap shot.
  4. Peter's hold out set things back for sure. Fowler is a better chess player. Butler should be much improved, I hope he stays healthy. Walker has been decent on the right side and had value as a LT back up. Dock was from UT and we just don't have good luck with UT OTs. We need a talented LG that will gel with Peters.
  5. Do you have any reason to believe that the report on Waters is true?
  6. I like the sound of this. Waters would be good fit next to Peters. I wouldn't expect any other FA OL signings but I could still see us drafting a G or C in the middle rounds. My only wish is that we don't panic and pay too much.
  7. LOL...there are some funny Bang toons currently on their site.
  8. That would give NE 3 second round picks.
  9. Cassel deep right to the chosen one....Touchdown!
  10. What? No Fowler? There goes the Greater Niagra Chess Club!
  11. Does the name Rob Johnson ring any bells?
  12. Probably true. But with his upfront money already on Buffalo's books, doesn't it seem as if the guy had trade value? With the kind of money being thrown around this year, his existing contract probably could be handled by plenty of teams.
  13. Why is it that teams like the Pats always seem to make good trades and get extra draft picks? DD had trade value, but it takes a smart FO to make it happen. NE has a billion dollars tied up in their 2 QBs, but wait and see what type of mother load they will pull in for Cassel. I hate to say it, but I just don't see this team overtaking anybody in our division.
  14. I think Buffalo is the place to come to get an offer to take to other more desirable clubs.
  15. I wonder how many FA come to Buffalo with the intention of getting an offer that they take to another club. I bet Fred Taylor only wanted an offer that he could take to the Pats.
  16. That's the dude! Never forget how optimistic I was with that free agent shocker!
  17. Who was the guard that we signed from the Panthers back in the Donahoe days? The guy was a stiff and ended up being cut.
  18. With the release of Dockery, we need a nasty mauler in the run game who is also versatile along the line. My pick.....Stacy Andrews G Cincinati. He is coming off a knee injury in the final game of the year but is ahead of schedule in rehab, fits the above description, and would likely come at a little less expense. My second pick.....Sean Jones S Browns. This guy would be what we need along side Donte. Good in run defense, a leader, and can cover quite well. A big upgrade from Ko "I'm worth millions" Simpson. Keep Wilson as our main backup.
  19. Tim Couch. Now there was a real sleeper pick.
  20. Saturday wired Sounds to me like he likes to run the ball.
  21. I agree. He obviously isn't the long term answer but with a fairly deep center crop in the upcoming draft, we could draft a quality prospect in the middle rounds and he could learn from one of the best for the next couple of years.
  22. From what I have read, Polian has his hands full working against the cap and may have to put the franchise tag on their CB Hayden. Saturday, a 3 time Pro-bowler, who is 34yrs old may be a free agent. Granted, he is a little long in the tooth, but can still play at a high level. He has a nasty disposition and is a good leader. I think he could also help Edwards in his progress toward being a quality NFL QB. I'm sure Payton Manning is a little worried that this guy may get away. The next couple of weeks will be interesting, seeing which free agents will be allowed to test the market. Polian priorities
