  1. It boils down to the number of points involved. If the Broncos are interested in our 8th pick(1400 point value) then the two firsts that they had were too much(1,050+780), however, the 15th and the 37th pick are worth a combined 1,580 points. If D'Brickashaw and Mario Williams are off the board, I would love to see us swap these pick with the Broncos.
  2. Wouldn't it be funny if D'Brick was there and we then trade down. I remember in the 01 draft when everyone was all gaga over Kenyatta Walker. He fell to us at pick 14 or so and we traded down with TB, netting Clements and a 2nd rd. pick. I think this board would explode if D'Brick were there and we then trade down.
  3. I think there is a good chance Davis goes to the Niners, 2 picks before us.
  4. But not that masterful with Bledsoe and Losman.
  5. The Saints drafted Jamal Brown in the first round last year and also have Matt Stinchcomb as tackles. This does not mean they are drafting D'Brick
  6. Front page of Texans website. link
  7. Sorry for another Moulds thread, but Moulds is still on the Bills roster on their web site. There is nothing official on either the Bills site or the Texans site about the trade. Levy puts an end to the J.P. rumors but has nothing to say about Moulds. Seems odd, don't you think?
  8. Over on the Texans forum(houstonprofootball.com)they are saying that it is their 5th round pick, but it is not official.
  9. I think the asking price may actually be a 3rd. There is a brief blurb on benmaller.com under NFL rumors that also has a 3rd as the asking price. another link
  10. A fifth round pick is nothing for Moulds. How many fifth round picks pan out? I would rather send Moulds to an NFC team for less than have Houston rob us blind. Moulds can still play at a high level and is certainly more valuable than the 134th pick in the draft.
  11. One "football source" taken from Profootballtalk.com. Sure inspires my trust.
  12. Nothing for him? Lets see. I think I know a QB from Detroit who is shopping himself at this moment. If Detroit gets picks for Harrington, then Losman is worth something.
  13. I would make sure there was some form of a conditional pick involved. If Moulds goes to another team and then makes the Pro-Bowl then I would ask for another mid round pick next year. I would probably settle for a #4 this year if a conditional pick was involved. If he gets hurt or performs at a sub-par level then the team has nothing else at stake. If Houston were the team, I would also consider taking their 4th round pick if we could swap second round picks this year.
  14. Maybe there are sources "from deep within."
  15. You are correct. To me IF he is healthy needs to be the first thing out of your mouth when you talk about trading for Walker. I'll retract my post.
  16. They approach us and offer an injured malcontent for a receiver that Favre would absolutely love to have and have the balls to want more in return??? This totally stinks! Moulds is a major step up from Walker. GB is the team behind the eight ball, not us. Farve is balking about coming back because he is concerned about the lack of talent on the offense. Believe me, they want Moulds badly. If they give us their 3rd along with Walker, then I would consider it closer to being fair.
  17. No problamo. One question ...What exactly is the gal in your avatar doing?
  18. Resigned to re-signing, I guess.
  19. Ron Edwards was reported to have visited with the Dolphins.
  20. Back when Mularkey was our coach I cringed when people called him meathead. Now that he is a Dolphin, I kind of like the name.
  21. I like the idea of trading down. The second round is especially deep. A similar trade could happen with the Vikings. They have two second rounders and with Culpepper gone, I think they also have an interest in a QB.
  22. After Jason Peters was given a low tender, I thought he might be at risk for being signed. Maybe he is not as promising as we thought.
  23. My point was that he isn't here.
  24. The Vikes got on a roll after starting terribly. It was very similar to the Bills 2 years ago. The defense played great and Johnson did fairly well, but so did Bledsoe during our run. Where is Bledsoe now? I don't think the Vikings look at Johnson as their long term solution at the QB position. With Culpepper gone, I think they will be looking for a young stud for the future.
  25. Things with Owens always seem great FOR AWHILE. If Bledsoe starts to stink it up, (and we all know he is very capable of doing so) Owens may turn on him. Also, with this new labor agreement, WR salaries may go up and surpass his current deal. Then he will be crying for a new contract.
