  1. Actually, Paul Alexander is an excellent OL coach. A couple years back, the bills tried to get him. He is a Rochester native and wanted to come here but I believe Cincy wouldn't let him go.
  2. If I were Levy, I would be on the phone with teams like the Vikings and the Broncos to see if they want to trade to #8. The Vikings have #17 and two #2 picks and now need a QB. Denver has #15 and #22 and also seems to have a desire to move up. I really want to see us get more than 4 first day picks. Pat Kirwin had a good read recently about the strength of the second round in this draft. Trading down to get either later first or multiple early second round picks could help us the most. Guys like Mangold, Lutui, Watson, Jean-Gilles, etc...are all big horses that could fill needs and likely will be picked in that range.
  3. Or look for a team that is tight against the cap. Both of these teams had more cap room than Buffalo.
  4. You forgot to put in D'Brick.
  5. Denver has picks #15 and 22. This is worth more than the #8 according to the trade value charts.
  6. I think KC is in a lot worse shape cap wise compared to Arizona and Chicago. Perhaps they would be less likely to match.
  7. Jim Kelly never had a problem being a leader. He simply didn't want to play in Buffalo. He cried when he was drafted by the Bills and jumped at the chance to go to the USFL. He later warmed up to Buffalo and the rest is history.
  8. I wouldn't doubt this at all. Marv wants a leader at QB similar to Kelly in his day. J.P. May have a strong arm and refers to himself as being cocky etc.. but is he the type that his offense will rally around? I'm not so sure. He strikes me as being immature. To Levy, leadership at the QB position is a high priority and I wouldn't put it past him if he is looking at shopping Losman. Besides, April Fools day is still 12 days off.
  9. Do you really think Levy wants another Norwood on the team?
  10. Retard train is more like it.
  11. Thats funny. Everytime I see a highlight clip on Williams, he is always attacking the QB from the left side.
  12. Just creating an atmosphere that will be welcoming to our first round pick Chad Greenway.
  13. I was thinking the same thing. Bunkley could be a good fit. One problem with trading down. We better not go to far. St. Louis has lost Pickett and Lewis and may also have their eye on Bunkley.
  14. He seems to be similar to Tripplett, at least in terms of size. Pickett is listed as a little heavier and may fit a little better as a run stuffer.
  15. Actually it's toy Yoda. He is small and past his prime but uses the force he does. Smaller than Travis Henry but better looking. Can sense where the hole will be even before the snap. A hell of a pick up. Gotta hand it to Marv for combing the universe for this guy.
  16. The guy has happy feet. There were times were he could have stepped up in the pocket but chose to run. He had years of running for his life at Tulane and it has carried over to the NFL.
  17. Maybe. He didn't do a whole lot with Wyche tutoring him. He needs to be cured of his "happy feet". Maybe Schonert and AVP can help him with that. I think Fairchild will need to keep things simple, like Pittsburgh did with Roethlisburger. I have to admit, I would prefer watching JP run to watching Bledsoe take the sack.
  18. If Minny can get a #2 for Culpepper then we should be able to get something for Moulds.
  19. You really don't know Marv Levy. T.O. is the antithesis of the new Levy made Bills.
  20. The best way for Masters and Johnson to get a big payday is to move his client.
  21. Can we please stop all talk about T.O. as a potential replacement for E.M. He has a SNOWBALLS CHANCE IN HELL of coming to the Bills! He is exactly the type of player Levy is trying to avoid. As for E.M., the Bills owe him nothing and should be in no hurry to give him his wish of being released. I'm curious to know if and when he is due a roster bonus. This will likely decide his fate. If he has none, or, it's not for several months, then the Bills are in decent shape. The fact that E.M. has to say these things in the media makes me think his back is a bit up against the wall. I agree that the last thing the bills want is for E.M. is to count $5M against our cap and be catching passes from Tom Brady.
  22. Hard to believe that we can lose both Pat Williams and Jonas Jennings and only get a 7th rd. pick. The guy did come pretty close last year but I hope he is off the mark with the bills this year.
  23. Peppers, Kemoeatu, Lewis, and Rucker is a good DL! Can you imagine how frustrated Fox would have been with Donahoe picking his roster? You chose Roscoe WHO?!
