  1. 2. Who was the guy Marv loved, that he brought to camp every year and kept him until the final cut. I think he was on the practice squad every year until he was no longer eligible for it. Corey Bender maybe, not sure.
  3. I voted Cribbs, but Robb would have been number 2. I have his autograph on a piece of paper with Reich, Kidd, and Burroughs from when they stopped by my high school to play basketball.
  4. Ferragamo was a big deal, he was on the cover of SI. We sent the Rams our very first pick of the 83 draft (Tony Hunter not Kelly) for him. His very first game i think he threw for over 400 yards, and everyone thought he was our savior, of course he then began to suck.Gale Gilbert I think holds the record for consecutive Super Bowl appearances with 5( four with the Bills, then one with the Chargers). Willie Totten took the job when Jim Zorn turned us down. I remember Marv talking about the game against the Giants with the replacements after LT crossed the picket line. The left tackle has six holding calls against him in the first half and Marv asked him what was going on, the Left Tackle said six holding calls was good because he was holding him every play.
  5. Actually I have a theory backed up by no evidence. His arm could be so strong that while he just guns it on longer throws, on short throws he may try to take something off it so his receivers don't have to catch a bullet from 10 yards away, and he loses accuracy in the process.
  6. Analytics do not translate to football as they would baseball. Baseball everything is very similar pitch to pitch. Distance between mound and home plate, home plate and first base, this is all fixed and can get a good gauge of how to play by percentages. Football changes from play to play. Distance, alignment, scheme, even weather plays a bigger deal in football then baseball. It is way more difficult to get a good control set avg. I do think at times it would be useful, like they way Philly used it for deciding on two point conversions, but that is a more fixed play where avg. should play out without a big change. However with player evaluation it is in my humble opinion less then worthless, as there is way to many variables.
  7. That is exactly what I do. Also catch Murph on msg. I do not wish them ill will, just upset that it used to be awesome, now I can not stand the line up. Also they are the only show in town, so being number one is not much of an accomplishment.
  8. I trust the people making the decisions until I can not. Year's ago I swore they would be morons for not taking Winston Justice. Turns out the staff at that time was morons, but it had nothing to do with Winston Justice.
  9. Jaylen Samuels seems like a fit since they like players that play multiple positions and played for 4 years.
