  1. This year I would like to attend the draft in person. Is the draft going to be at Radio City Music Hall this year? I've heard that it is on a first come, first served basis but would like the inside scoop if any of you have first hand knowledge. Thanks in advance.
  2. Add to that our starting left tackle as another undrafted.
  3. Can you say Adrian Peterson? I like the last RB we took from the state of Oklahoma.
  4. Come on now.. We all know Ray had nothing to do with that crime. I suppose you think O.J. actually had something to do with those other murders? Even if he was there that night, I'm certain the guy slipped and fell into the knife.
  5. Kliensauser is the Vikings TE not Brady and Moss doesn't want to play for the Vikings anymore!
  6. Maybe you're not old enough, but the old term use to be DWI (driving while intoxicated). I guess I need to get up with the new lingo. I guess I just don't see your logic. "Character" involves the whole person. It is displayed in everything you do. If you only look at what the guy does on the field or in the locker room and turn a blind eye to his other behavior then that is not really taking a players "character" in to the equasion. Marv should say he is looking for talented, hard working, team oriented players. Rhodes probably fits this definition but I'm not sure he is a man of "good character".
  7. Over the past 5 yrs or so there has been a pretty big influx of very good and very large and very athletic defensive tackles. The guard position has become more critical than in the past. You can't just put an unathletic snot slinging blob in there anymore and expect to be successful.
  8. Is Rhodes the character guy that Levy is seeking? Isn't he in trouble with a DWI or something?
  9. Maybe if he marries Oprah.
  10. Last year we had an extra 3rd, so we moved up to get McCargo. I don't see us moving up this year unless the Bills target a DE or DT that happens to drop down to around that spot. If a DB is our goal in rd. 1 then I could see us dropping down a bit (2001 draft, Nate Clements pick) and picking up an extra pick. I don't recall Levy being much of a fan for moving up in the draft. I think he would rather let the draft come to him, like his old buddy, the late John Butler.
  11. It takes two to tango and I'm not sure there will be a great demand to move up to #12. I would rather we stay put and take the best DL available. Rather than draft a LB, I would like to see us go after Lance Briggs in free agency. If spikes conntinues to recover, our LB quartet would be impressive, with some good backups to boot. I don't think Willis Mcgahee would bring a 1st rounder, but may bring a 2nd from the right team. Rather than take a third, I would rather see him play his heart out for his next contract. I like Grubbs and Sears as mid rounders. If Clements leaves (likely) then a CB will be a priority.
  12. We are stupid if we let Clements walk. NE will either put the tag on Samuels, or re-sign him to a nice contract. He is one of their best defensive players and is still getting better.
  13. New England is smart. It seems they always get something for their unhappy holdout types. They got our first for Bledsoe, a masterful move on their part. It seems that each year they have plenty of extra picks. Why on earth we promised Nate Clements free agency is beyond me. We could have gotten at least an extra first. At least Donahoe got us an extra pick for Peerless. I would be really surprised if the Pats let Samuel get away for nothing in return. He will either be re-signed, tagged, or tagged and traded.
  14. I could see Willis in a Raiders uniform. I would be happy with their second rounder, #33 overall.
  15. I fear this is the kind of pick that Levy will shock us with. A character guy, a fine young man from Linebacker U. At least that is what PS was known for back when Conlan was Levy's first pick. The problem is that times have changed and PP is not as good as Shane Conlan was when we picked him at #7. I would rather we go after a LB in free agency and go after a top defensive lineman in the draft. If Nate leaves, a CB may also be a high priority. Use the later rounds to get some OL help.
  16. He did this crap against the Colts and we couldn't stop the clock at the end.
  17. Yep. POOR clock management.
  18. POOR clock management. It may bite us at the end of the game.
  19. I don't think the Bills want him back.
  20. Remember, this is year #2 for Bledsoe. The NFC defenses have now seen him for a full season. Get ready for pat, pat, pat....Wham! When that happens, how long will it be before T.O. throws him under the bus?
  21. Thats the one. Thanks. I didn't know about the bugmenot. It's now bookmarked.
  22. [ Rick Gosselin, a sports reporter for the Dallas Morning News and one of the best guys to predict the draft gave us the highest grade in our division and one of the better overall grades in the draft. I would provide a link, but you need to register in order to read it. Registering is free at dallasnews.com.
  23. Boy that was one fun game! Remember the chants...SCHRAAAAAAAADER, SCHRAAAAAAAADER echoing through Rich stadium? Maybe we can get Art Shell back to the Ralph in the playoffs.
  24. Here is the number for Marv during the draft: 1-(800) FIX LINES
  25. Let me get this strait. Marv is worried about Bunkley in the cold weather but is looking to take Huff from Texas? Didn't Huff recently praise the weather in Miami after his recent visit there?
