  1. I didn't see much nastiness. I'm picturing what happens the first time he tries to jump over Ray Lewis.
  2. I have my fingers crossed for Curry at 11. I've been reading some stuff from draft pages that he could slide a little , especially if there is a run on DE, OL, and if Sanchez goes in the top 10. Some scouts feel that he generates a lot of tackles, but may lack in big play ability. Probably not the case, at lease from other people that grade him near the top of the draft. I would love our LBs to be Curry-Pos-Mitchell.
  3. Jauron is a decent DC but his lack of knowledge on offense makes him depend on a good OC. What I don't know, is whether or not, he "handicaps" his OC by his very vanilla philosophy. If he was a totally hands off type of HC, then it would seem that quality OCs would be attracted to work with him. My gut feeling, however, is that any would be OC comes in knowing that vanilla must be the main flavor of the offense. I think his lack of offensive knowledge also shows up in his sub-par clock management.
  4. Once the Bills move to L.A., Trent will be just fine. Seriously, Buffalo Winters can make just about anybody a little homesick. Jim Kelly cried the day he was drafted by Buffalo, and they were not tears of joy! He tried like heck to play for the Houston Gamblers, but with the team he had around him, he could live with the weather. Plus he had his family come up from PA to be at all his home games. Trent is alone in Buffalo. What he needs is a good western NY wife! Kelly Married a hometown girl from Attica, further increasing his ties to WNY. Come on Girls of WNY, pretty yourself up and give him a call, our franchise depends on it.
  5. That's the guy stat stood out the most to me! I'm not sure if he would be a better guard or center. He is big enough to battle the big nose tackles in the NFL. Mayock loved the way he played at the Senior Bowl practices.
  6. Fist and ten at aroun the thirty two or so and he tries to set up the long field goal! I just cant stand Dick Jauron football! That game was lost by Jauron by calling three stupid runs in a row to set up a long field goal into the wind. Well, now are season is over and we just signed this schmuck to a new contract.
  7. I absolutely hate Dick Jauron football. It just doesn't get more boring than this team.
  8. 15 minutes to Wapner...15 minutes to Wapner.
  9. Adams had a lot of great quotes. I remember one year, I think it was the year we drafted Moulds. Everone thought we would take Leeland McElroy the RB from Texas A&M. Adams said he was a high knee runner. When they asked what was wrong with "high knee" runners, He said, and I quote, "They are like dogs that chase cars.....They don't last very long". He described some other player as "playing like his hair's on fire". He was funny, and very colorful.
  10. October 14th is the trade deadline. Does Losman stay or could he be dangled out there for a trade?
  11. I like Dick....wait a minute, what did I just say?
  12. Better than what our old coach Larry Zierlein had on his computer.
  13. Double bubble?.......Is that you?
  14. Confucius also say, Man who gets kicked in balls, often left holding bag.
  15. Peter King has always been a big time Patriots lover. It flavors everything he writes about other AFC east teams. This is probably wishful thinking on his part.
  16. Did you notice that he gave Marv Levy props but he never mentioned Donahoe after he pointed out the smart signing of Jason Peters?
  17. I think Peters is getting bad advice from his agent. Remember, Peters is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Even if he did report, I think he will be too far behind in our new offense be be effective. He may even be a liability. I'm all for the Bills holding their ground. They kept this guy around for years developing him, renegotiate his contract in 06, and even offer to redo his deal again starting in 09. If he can't play this year for $3.2M thenlet him get nothing at all!
  18. Each time I read a blurb about the Jets getting the best TE in the draft I get a little bummed. I was really hoping we would get Keller!
  19. I think you mean Bill Tobin. That is, if you are referring to the "Who the hell is Mel Kiper" comment after the Trev Albert/Trent Dilfer debate.
  20. The first re-do is a Mulligan. What do you call the second?
  21. I've been married for 22 years and my wife is well trained. She lets me do my thing on draft weekend. Last year she even encouraged me to travel from SC to NYC and see it first hand. If you haven't gone before, I would highly recommend it. It is an electric atmosphere. I had a ball.
  22. Bob Matthews has lost touch with reality. I wouldn't have Johnson if he was given away with a six pack of Bud Light. He is an absolute retard and a cancer. Wait and see what type of interest "Ocho Psycho" generates. Maybe the sleezy Cowboys, maybe. T.O and CJ on the same team, better not have adversity, or everything is going to implode.
  23. You know what they say...Big hands...Big......you know, arms.
  24. Marv Albert..... Yesssssss! Probably wont be drafted due to his forcible sodomy charge with repeated biting.
  25. Are his hands any bigger?
