  1. Why bash Chris Brown? Chris is EMPLOYED BY THE BILLS! You defend Jerry for doing what he is "paid to do." Right?
  2. Calling a turd a turd is one thing. Pretending to know all the answers is another. It's always the same schtick. Always "I know what's best for the Bills." Always the same tired old slant. Calling someone a turd everyday for the last decade gets old.
  3. Defending Ralph? Hardly! I wish he would sell the team, providing he found a buyer who would keep the team in WNY. I was simply giving my opinion of Jerry.
  4. Another piece of work from the master. Sullivan kind of reminds me of Cliff Clavin from Cheers. You know him, the guy who thinks he knows everything about everything and always offers up his advice even when your not the least bit interested. Sitting behind his beer at the bar, he is now the local expert on the Buffalo Bills. In his fantasy world, he is both owner and GM. He has the answer for everything. It's always easy to find his article by looking just at the title. "The bills should do this....." or "The bills are wrong about this..." In his perfect little fantasy world he would be consulted on all matters. He would be the inside guy privy to all matters. Unfortionately, he is the guy on the outside looking in and feels compelled to set things straight with his daily rants.
  5. Poll: How long before this thread gets closed?
  6. Didn't anyone ever tell you that hamsters are much better for this kind of thing?
  7. I like Lebeau, however, he is a golfing buddy with Jauron. He turned us down in the past for our DC position, so I guess he probably wouldn't be interested.
  8. Hey Jerry, thanks for stopping by.
  9. He reminds me too much of the Dallas Cowboys.
  10. No question about Rivera as a DC. My only question is can he attract an equally good OC when he is promoted to HC?
  11. I think your off base here. I think the problem is working for the Spanos clan in SD. Look who SD has as their director of college scouting. A Spanos punk who was promoted after serving 2 yrs as a scout. Nix had to work for the snotty nosed Spanos boy who had family pull some strings. Ever stop to think that maybe AJ Smith liked having Nix around? Nix probably wants a strong defensive minded coach and Rivera is just that. He can run the 4-3 as well as the 3-4, he is well connected around the league, and I think he would be a good fit in Buffalo.
  12. Didn't Harbaugh punch Jim Kelly in the face back in the early to mid 90s? Jim seems to have some influence so cross him off the list.
  13. Is Buddy Nix friends with Rusty Jones? Just crossed my mind considering our annual megamojo injured reserve list.
  14. This is about as good as it is going to get with Ralph as the owner. We need for Ralph to sell the team, or at least the majority interest.
  15. He also would accomplish something that his old nemesis Tom Donahoe couldn't do!
  16. .........Ralph has decided to relocate the team to the Philippines and rename them the Manila Folders.
  17. Zimmer would be a good pick. Most of his experience is with the 4-3, so we wouldn't have to do a complete overhaul. The biggest problem with a defensive minded head coach is the critical need to lure in a quality OC. I read that Weis is interested in Chicago's OC position, should it open up. His kids are in school/college in the area. Zimmer lost his wife this year and perhaps is less tied down to one area. Does Zimmer know Bobby April? I would really hate to see April leave. Remember back to the days of Wade Phillips and our "punt catcher?" April is a heck of a coach!
  18. Mitchell is a major disappointment. This is the second time he has twitted like a third grader. This guy behaves like a child! I hope we dump this jack_$$ at the end of the year.
  19. We need a good GM, not this pretender marketing guy.
  20. Hey Tim, Do you have any kind of an injury update on Eric Wood? Thanks, TT
  21. Actually the bills can still beat the pats for the division. First, the dolphins, jets, and pats need to lose out and the bills need to win out. That leaves the pats and bills @8-8. the first tiebreaker is head to head...both 1-1, the 2nd tb is division record...both 3-3, third tb is common games. since the jets, and dolphins were a split, other common teams include houston, atlanta, new orleans, tampa, carolina, indy, tenn, and jacksonville. this also is a draw, leading us to tb #4 which is conference record which also would be a tie at 5-7. the 5th tb is "strength of victory". This is the winning percentage of teams you beat. The big difference in our wins will boil down to the bills wins over the colts and chiefs vs the pats wins over the titans and ravens. beating an undefeated colts team would be huge. If KC can win another game and the ravens and titans lose one or two, we could win tb#5. The way i see it, winning the division is the only way we could get in the playoffs.
  22. Are you sure about this? If the Bills win out and the Pats, Dolphins, and Jets all lose out, couldn't the Bills still win the division at 8-8?
