  1. Hi - we're attending our first game with the kids tomorrow, my son has Celiac and can't eat gluten. Any idea if anybody offers gluten free food inside? Google was of no help.
  2. Your wish is my command, I have both! Wasn't sure which to upload, I picked the other one as I captured the whole thing, this one took me a couple seconds to hit record. This one is actually a pit more wild:
  3. Ha! Did they really? Yeah, the shirts are awesome, NYCBBB did a fundraiser for her this weekend. As Store716 said, #supportsally shirts are undefeated!
  4. If you didn't see it on Twitter, this is how NYC Bills fans roll when the Bills win:
  5. Thanks everybody for your words of support. We went on to sell over 200 shirts! My oldest son and I managed to sneak away yesterday and brought him to McFadden's for the first time since he was a baby. Too bad we lost, but the bar had posters of Sally around and a lot of fans came up to offer words of encouragement to Thomas and I. Here's a quick video of him experiencing his first touchdown with other fans:
  6. Hi all - I've been a member here for years, some may remember me pre-kids when I posted a lot more. I started and run the NYC Bills Backers with Billsfanone, the biggest club outside of WNY. Over the summer my daughter was diagnosed with Infant Leukemia at 9 months of age, its so rare that the world-leading cancer hospital we're at in NYC only treats one case a year. It does not have the same great odds as when diagnosed later in childhood, but she is doing well so far. A bunch of the sites and bloggers for the Bills & Sabres have gotten together and are selling t-shirts for Sally, with proceeds going to her treatment fund. Here is the article where it appeared first: http://www.deargodwh...pportsally.html Shirts are on sale until Sunday morning. We're also doing fundraisers at the games at McFadden's, as well as a larger fundraiser on 9/14 there. To learn more you can check out www.sweetsallysunshine.com or facebook.com/sweetsallysunshine Sorry to interupt the pre-kickoff chat, and feel weird posting this, but know we need to ask for help. Go Bills! #supportsally
  7. Thanks all, Scott Berchtold reached out a couple weeks ago when we were first in the hospital and sent Sally a Bills bear and autographed EJ Manuel photos to my sons. Since then we went through different diagnosis, at one point thinking it was a fluke virus and she was fine, but confirmed Leukemia last week. Not sure if Bills are aware of latest, most weren't as things changed so much so quickly. But they were one of the first responders.
  8. Yep. Brandon was involved in football decisions once, anybody remember that disaster? Brandon is part of the losing culture, and gets more credit than deserved.
  9. Might want to avoid going over the middle on us now: Looked clean to me.....
  10. I couldn't go, did anybody? Spoke to the Bills and they said it was a great time.
  11. When we're winning we fill two bars with 600 Bills fans with overflow into a 3rd bar. NYPD had to shut us down after the Pats win as it spilled out onto 42nd Street. Can't imagine what'll happen when we make the playoffs!
  12. George Wilson will be in NYC on Tuesday for the unveiling of the new NFL Nike uniforms. He asked to get together and meet local Bills fans, so we set it up, details can be found here: http://nycbbb.com/2012-emails/george-wilson-mcfaddens/ Pretty cool that he wanted to meet up with fans out here.
  13. I've got two tix at face if anybody is interested. Unlike Buffalo, face is $95/ticket.
  14. Hey all, here's the latest on NYCBBB's tailgate: For those like myself heading to the game, I spoke with Kenny “Pinto Ron” Johnson this week and asked him about a tailgating spot. We always used to tailgate in 16C, but that is now a premium lot. Funny enough, we became such good friends with the Jets fans in that section over the last 10 years that last year they reached out to Kenny and told them their new location which is a lower tier lot that everybody with a pass can access, and is also a parking lot that fills up slower so most should be able to get into. Here’s a map of the spot: http://nycbbb.com/notes/giants-tailgate-location/ Its called Lot 26 next to the IZOD Center and we’ll be near pole A. Kenny called and verified the spot again this week so we are good to go, he said the best way to describe the location is if you see the huge failed mall they built and you look at the ski ramp, if you drove a car up and off of it you’d fall onto our spot. This is a good test run for our soon to be Jets tailgate later in the season.
  15. Somebody posted the location I emailed to our NYCBBB members earlier today, so we at least have a meeting spot. Should have more details Thursday, Friday at the latest.
