  1. Bills may very well have to cut more than half their draft picks. No surprises or gems in this class. Stevenson is the closest, but is stuck at the deepest position on the team.
  2. My fault, just did a street zoom to see what I was seeing whenever I looked over there and it’s a deli called “In & Out,” same color scheme.
  3. Even though the Bills have never really been a consideration, a show like Hard Knocks would do well for a small market team. Winning also helps, but whatever else can put a team on national television will always be an asset for growing a fanbase.
  4. There was an In N Out on 6th avenue in NYC, basically a tiny “to go” storefront. The place has also popped up in Texas. I don’t see the appeal with it, very underwhelming, yet the lines here in Los Angeles are always packed!
  5. I wasn’t a fan of the Rousseau pick with JOK on the board, but I know why they made it. With all the positive reports on Rousseau I’m glad he’s not looking like the developmental project I thought he’d be. In that 2nd drill where he was next to Hughes, I’m surprised at the amount of ground Rousseau covered in comparison to Hughes, because it looked like Jerry was putting forth great effort while Rousseau was just sorta running the drill. Both covered roughly the same amount of ground, despite one looking much more spry. That’s really encouraging on Rousseau’s behalf.
  6. Without going back to look at his numbers, I remember DK Metcalf had a strong game against the Bills and it was the first time I’ve watched Tre White and felt he was overmatched against a wide receiver. They didn’t necessarily hold that guy in check, but not many teams can.
  7. Right now, Edmunds is the second most impactful LB on this roster, despite being the most physically gifted. All we can hope is that the lights come on in year 3 and he becomes the force we need in the middle.
  8. Knox is an enigma. He’ll have a catch and run where he steamrolls 2 defenders and then follow that up with a catch and run that ends in a fumble. He’ll make a spectacular catch to keep the offense moving and then follow that up with a drop on a routine pass in the EZ. It’s either boom or bust with that guy, always has been. Personally I’d rather have the solid tight end who rarely makes a mistake over the spectacular tight end who often has a penchant for negative plays.
  9. When the Bills OL was beaten last season, the pressure most often came from the interior. As you said, none of those guys are world beaters, they’re all just JAGs. Ford hasn’t proven he can do it yet, Feliciano’s weakness is pass protection. Boettger has improved, but isn’t a long term answer. Morse may be gone after this year. I see your argument about Spencer Brown and it makes sense, but I still maintain interior help is needed most, in terms of an upgrade.
  10. With all the gushing about Chief’s 6th round rookie OG Trey Smith in the other thread, I wonder how Jack Anderson is coming along. Haven’t read a single word about him. The Doyle pick still has me scratching my head because interior help is what the Bills needed most.
  11. Who paid for 2014’s $130M in renovations?
  12. Ratings are probably predicated on super stars of which the Bills have few. That said, returning a team that reached the AFC Championship game should at least merit an 88 overall, a rating that’s at least in the same ballpark as the other 3 that represented.
  13. Troy Aikman. I found that observation fascinating too.
  14. Edmunds has elite physical traits, but his processor and instincts are average. I’d try to trade him after this year, barring a Josh Allen-like level of improvement.
  15. I remember Doyle from the Colts went off on us and barely had 23 receptions all year. Mike Gesicki from the Dolphins always turns into a HoF caliber player against the Bills. Don’t even get me started on Travis Kelci. They need to figure out how to stop that position!
  16. Still don’t understand Brown over C Creed Humphrey. That guy also tested off the charts and plays a position that could strengthen the interior if the team moves on from Morse next year. At best we’re hoping Brown pans out as a swing tackle with potential to move into a starting position a few years from now. Humphrey has supposedly taken all the starting snaps at center and shows no signs of relinquishing the job in KC.
  17. Star was never a massive human being anyway, so I’m not surprised he showed up to camp lighter. I’ve long complained about how small he was to play a position Ted Washington excelled in - and as much as we hope he’ll come in to save the run defense, I cannot forget his mediocre play, frequent stalemate single blocks, and how he was losing snaps to Horrible Harry before his ACL injury. I remain skeptical about the guy.
  18. The youth excuses should stop after this season. Tired of hearing “he’s only _____ years old.” Edmunds himself recognizes he needs to become a more impactful player, at whatever position the Bills ask him to run. Hopefully it all comes together for him this year, we need the boost in production.
  19. It’d be a bit ironic if opt outs were also anti-vaxxers. Wonder if Star has gotten his shots. It’ll be most interesting to see how he reports to the first mandatory camp. He wasn’t a fat dude, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he shows up south of 300#. Also wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t work out diligently during his break.
  20. It’s supposedly open to first year players as well. I remember past rookie camps had some of our first year players on the field with the current crop of newbies.
  21. It’s interesting none of last year’s picks decided to participate. I thought Epenesa would’ve been out there more than any of the others.
  22. DK was the first and only receiver I’ve seen (so far) who bullied Tre White. Looked like a kid competing against an adult.
  23. Wow, he must have tested historically low. Where’d you find the RAS?
  24. C+, majority developmental guys, rotational players, and depth. Picking at the end of each round doesn’t help, but of course the grade can change if we eventually get multiple starters.
  25. “So, Brandon, some would say the tackles were the strength of the offensive line last season, yet you drafted two this year when interior help was available. Are you happy with the interior of your line?”
