  1. Pick a DJ press conference. Any press conference. You'll have the evidence you need...
  2. Albany for GM. Good points and I sincerely believe that a lot of people on this board could have and would have drafted better than the FO in most of these past drafts. BUILD THE LINES FIRST - OL and DL. For some noted picks, I personally would have selected LT Bryant McKinnie over RT Mike Williams, DT Haloti Ngata over S Donte Whitner, never would have selected WR Roscoe Parrish with my first pick in the draft, never would have traded up for McCargo, never would have traded up for Posluszny, never would have traded up for Losman, and would have had QB Aaron Rodgers fall to my pick the following year. For the record, I also would have drafted Maybin, so this might have been my biggest draft day mistake. Then again, with my previous drafts, I may not have been in the position to pick 11th. Who knows though, it is still early and Maybin may come around...
  3. Well they said that it was a clean break of the tibby and fibby and that is the most important part regarding this unfortunate situation. He should be able to come back 6-8 months after he had the surgery. Time will tell...
  4. And b/c the defense picks our play most of the time, it's like a supercharged blitz - leaving our OL and RBs flying in the air, after their feeble blocking attempts (just like in Tecmo).
  5. Who wrote that piece of crap? The London "Shaguars"?!?!
  6. It's interesting that they say L. Frazier could make a better head coach than coordinator, b/c that's exactly what I think of Perry Fewell. Fewell has already shown that he demands accountability and will bench a player regardless of name. He also looks like a passionate leader out there. Perry as a DC? Average. Perry as a HC? Above average.
  7. No, those would be 'measureables'. Intangibles are those traits which you cannot measure...
  8. Seriously. We have MANY holes to fill through the draft and trading away premium picks and/or proven talent, is not the way to improve your team...
  9. Do all of you remember the total breakdown Adam Morrison (Gonzaga) had on the basketball court after a loss?! Now THAT was funny! He starts at about 1:10 and tries to hold it together, but at 3:08, he hits the floor and starts bawling his eyes out. Hahaha... This video ends, but when it was happening live, I swear he was kicking, screaming, and rolling around on the court like a toddler.
  10. Assuming we will be slotted with a top 10 draft pick, I wouldn't touch Tebow before the third round. Second round if Im desperate and a lot of the other QBs are off the board. Fitz, Brohm, and the #2/#3 draft pick should compete to become the starter next year.
  11. I thought this post was in reference to our thin crop of defensive tackles. Seeing as how Marcus Stroud and Kyle Williams will be out, we are down to 2 healthy bodies - Spencer Johnson and McCargo. We did sign DB Cary Harris from the practice squad to fill the roster spot vacated by Keith Ellison however and he will alternate between DT (passing downs) and LB.
  12. What would Trentative think about all of this "fan of the team" business?
  13. Carr only as a stop gap QB. He hasnt looked like Carr of the past while playing with the GMen and I would rather have him keeping the seat warm for the 1st/2nd round rookie, rather than Trentative Edwards.
  14. As a stop gap QB, I would rather look into signing David Carr off of the Giants roster. He has looked decent in the games he has played this season, cutting back on the sacks that he always seems to take.
  15. Those comments in your signature are absolutely hilarious! If I were eating cereal, I would've snorted milk outta my nose, haha
  16. What if Perry Fewell goes from an average defensive coordinator to an above average head coach? A la Mike Singletary II.. Singletary turned around that pitiful 49ers team in the first game he took over last year and finished with a winning record. What if Fewell does the same?
  17. That was the year Aaron Rodgers slid to #22 or whatever. Had we not drafted Losman the prior year, Rodgers would've fell right to us and you can be sure we would've picked him up. Even with the constant blundering of this front office, that pick would have been an insane no brainer. Haloti Ngata x 10.
  18. I see what you're saying, but this is easier said than done. Not in terms of, "you need a willing trade partner", but more in terms of trading up and selecting what you think is a cant miss, blue chip prospect, only to have him bust; as in Mike Williams v 3.0., or be average as in Donte Whitner v 1.2. Im more in favor of trading down and adding more rd 2-3 players, UNLESS, that blue chip prospect that you covet falls to you.
  19. I'll add Buccaneers to that list. I believe based on these teams, the Bills will pick around 7/8. Panthers, Titans, Seahawks, and 49ers, should all finish with a better record than Buffalo.
  20. That's pretty much where I am every Sunday as well. It's amazing that most of us have so much hate for a team outside of our division and a team that we only meet every 4 years. I've always hated them and can't stand that they've been dubbed "America's Team". As far as who I would like to see win the Super Bowl (since the Bills are obviously out of the conversation), Saints (b/c they have so many former Bills and they need something to further bring that city together after Katrina) and Vikings (the Bills of the NFC in a way - 4 Super Bowls, albeit different years, but no championship).
  21. I would take a 45 year old Doug Flutie, over any current QB on this roster...
  22. Ah ok, so that's why we're releasing him. Going forward, we need to retain as much talent on this talent starved team as possible. Lynch, with all of his off the field issues, is a player this team can't afford to outright cut. Of course if he had done something criminal (like OJ or Travis Henry), then yeah I'd be in agreement...
  23. I dont have the "luxury" of watching tape to see who is consistently where they are supposed to be, so I can't say that Wilson is better than Whitner. I CAN say that Wilson makes more plays in the limited amount of time that he is on the field, than Whitner has made in an entire career as a starter, so.... Yeah, I guess Wilson is better than Whitner. Definitely a better playmaker, if nothing else.. Haloti Ngata, we miss you
  24. I must have missed the logic behind releasing Marshawn Lynch. Why stop there? Let's release Evans, Byrd, Wood, Jackson, Moorman, McGee, Stroud, and anyone else who produces on this team...
