Thanks for sharing; I did not know that. I think — rightly or wrongly — most assume that the mafia hits and activity involve other criminals and thus the people who are good with using the name light-heartedly don't blink. They assume innocent people are not hurt and killed in this day and age. Again, I have no idea if this is true but I'm guessing that's the feeling of people who condone it. I'm not going to get into a heavy debate about it but to a 26-year-old player it adds a cool factor and gives our fanbase an aura. Lots of grey areas in pro sports when it comes to ethics and people all have different points of view and thresholds.

I know some people, particularly older ones, don't like associating Bills fandom with a criminal organization that has done some heinous things... However, it's clear that as a marketing tool, it makes the team's fanbase very cool to players and I think it's a plus for recruitment. So I get the opposition, but given Buffalo is a small market with higher taxes, cold weather, and minimal night life — important considerations for free agents — I'll take almost any advantage we can get and I'm ok with that moniker. Others will say, no way, and I respect their point of view, but agree to differ. But if Buffalo or the region had a recent mafia slaying of innocent people, I would be moved to take that position. You don't make light of recent tragedy.

The Bowser kid is intriguing as he's got size/strength, decent wheels, and a nose for the endzone. Forget wasting third-rounders on unimpressive athletes who weigh 205 lb. (Singletary and Moss). Not saying Bowser pans out but history shows he very well could.

Poorly written article headline. The Bills have addressed all these areas — the question is, is what they've done sufficient. I'd say for RB and O-line Yes, for DT yes as well (question for edge), and ILB is a maybe but no surprise if the answer is no.

He was thought to be a top-15 pick my many experts and no one thought he'd fall anywhere close to where he did. People are not just being homers about Kincaid; they see the star potential and the experts are saying it too. If you think that's just homerism look at all the grief the Williams pick got, and others from past years. This board doesn't just rave about every pick the Bills make. Maybe we're all going to be wrong about him and he'll be merely average but I don't think so. The 35-4 TD to drop ratio is incredible and he's just not a "stat" guy who doesn't live up to the numbers; when you watch him play you see that he's special.

Awesome video that has me even more stoked about Kincaid and our future offense. Some takeaways: 1. He has great spatial awareness and can find the soft spots in a zone 2. His transition from catcher to runner is exception and while his eyes and hands are ready for the ball his body is already turning to run which gets him going super fast 3. Great catch radius and the 50/50 balls will be 70/30 balls 4. He's a "functional and willing" blocker who can block corners and safeties and maybe some LBs. They said you don't want him blocking Judon right now but he's not as bad as advertised here and they said to compare him to Gesicki is total "disrescpect"; he's gonna work on blocking and put in effort. 5. You've got a pick your poison now in this offense with safety help and leaving him one on one in the middle when Diggs and Davis go deep, he's gonna win a lot 6. He's now gonna give the Bills that slot-focused offense we had with good/younger Beasely Watch the video. This is exciting stuff. p.s. when those Cover 1 boys graduate high school they're gonna have great careers at this. So much better than the "writers" we see on the Bills beat who just rehash press conference quotes with no real breakdown.

I know it was a running joke about Edmund's age always meaning he had upside but I think in the case of weight, a 21-year-old has more ability to pack on 7 or 8 pounds of muscle than maybe a 23-year-old. He may or may not pan out as a starter but let's not burn down 1 Bills Drive yet...

I was listening to Greg Cosell talk about the BIlls draft and he said that he liked Williams and that he played "bigger" than his size and bigger than Bernard. Said he was a good hitter. So that gave me some confidence.

I wouldn't hate it if played out like that if it was more Shakir impressing rather than Kincaid underwhelming. I just think Kincaid has a much higher ceiling and with his college production he's not that far from realizing it at the NFL level. I could be wrong but that's my thinking.

I don't think Kincaid will get more than Davis but I'm fairly certain he'll get more than Knox. Kincaid's the new safety valve. Beasley with 60 lb. and far fewer annoying Tweets. Knox never was and will likely never be that.

People who know way more than I do about O-linemen here say that Cyrus is not a scheme fit. If true and we wasted as second round pick, I'd say a C-. If Cyrus is a good fit and player B+ as I love the Kincaid pick but not confident about the the LB pick.

I don't think it's logical to just look at first-round TE stats. A new first-round TE is more likely replicate the production of a third or fifth-round guy, than the other way around. If we drafted a TE in the fifth, no one would look at 1st-round TE production but logic does work the other way. Shorter is a smooth runner that, against zone with free releases, gets downfield and makes himself available for the quarterback by finding a hole in the defense. On short-to-intermediate routes, Shorter wins by using his body to shield defenders away from the ball and being able to make the catch.
