  1. Why is the OP using 2019 stats as a point of comparison to an aged Frank Gore with a different team, different, O-line, and different Josh Allen? If you want a more accurate apples-to-apples comp, use 2022 and Cooks stats vs. Singletary's as a point of comparison and to have "inarguable" statistical comparisons.
  2. I've heard he has great intangibles but his measurables do not indicate a "great athlete." https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Terrel-Bernard-LB-Baylor
  3. Like getting a younger backup who maybe can stick around a few years or more. Looking back at a Kyle Allen scouting report, the "Allen" similarities don't end with the letters on the jersey: STRENGTHS: There’s a reason why he was a top recruit coming out of high school: his arm. Allen possesses a strong arm and is capable of making any throw. WEAKNESSES: Everything Allen needs to work on is between his ears.....it’s all mental. https://www.underdogdynasty.com/2018/4/13/17219366/2018-nfl-draft-prospect-profile-kyle-allen-qb-houston-cougars-texas-a-m-aggies
  4. If Miller and White recover most of their pre-injury form, and that's not a given, this D could be pretty good in 2023 with Rousseau and Elam developing... And just maybe a new MLB means we tweak the scheme which I'm all for after years of bad playoff D...
  5. That's great. Really looking forward to seeing him play for us.
  6. Good signing. You don't get a 6'4" receiver with track speed and good hands and availability at a discount. Yes, it's a chance, but you've got to take them when you don't have a lot of money but a lot of holes to fill. If he stays healthy, yes, a big if, people will love him here.
  7. He signed a six-year, $90 million contract in 2019. We won't see a back get that kind of money again for a long, long time.
  8. I think if anything it might increase his dead money if traded: when a player is traded or released the original team the player belonged to eats the remaining signing bonus and that's the dead cap. The yearly salary (not signing bonus) is assumed by the new team. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm about 90% sure I'm right (then again I was 90% sure I was right when I got married and now I'm a single dude living in a box in the sky). So this, to me, suggests, Stefon is here for a while.
  9. It starts with some cheap but easy-drinking Pilsner and ends with some double vodkas.
  10. No, it's not my money but I don't want the Bills cutting a player after one year into a three-year deal and taking on a chunk of dead cap. A little doesn't kill a team but it adds up.
  11. I don't wanna give this guy at three-year deal at his age but one, maybe two years, sure — if the money is right. Athletes these days are better conditioned and eating better and playing at a top level later than ever.
  12. I'd like to see that too (and, btw, I'm sincere, not sarcastic.) No way in hell we need to pay an LB $18 million a year.
  13. This is one of the few times I'm happy to lose a good player in FA. This means more available money for the O-line and weapons — this year and for years to come. Theoretically.
  14. Good move for them. I'd take White as a backup any day.
  15. Tenacity is great but no penalties would be great too. How many drives have stalled or got way harder than they needed to be because of holding? This kid has about one penalty per year. I'll take that.
  16. Good to see a team leader openly say he loves it here: 1) On Buffalonians "Bills Mafia, everyone in Buffalo is truly amazing." 2) On McD handing the Hamlin in-game situation: "Sean... I have never seen a leader perform like that." 3) On the organization: "It really feels like a family." Nice, after recent distractions, to see a guy come straight out and be unequivocal about wanting to be here. I wish ever team leader was like this.
  17. Couldn't find a qualified interpreter.
  18. I don't know Graham. But I do know 70s Geddy, Alex and Neil! Thanks for throwing him out there. I'm sure some more O-line experts will opine on him. But, yes, we do need at least one interior line upgrade via free agency.
  19. "Oh, you don't get a quality starting guard for nothing You don't get good blocking for free" Sorry, saw your avatar and had to.
  20. He's turning 31 in a few weeks. Had a really solid career and four years ago I would have been more excited to bring him here. Wish him well but not disappointed we didn't get him.
  21. Why can't we ever have compensatory things?
  22. You are correct. But I think it is also naive to say that with the Bills cap situation that spending $28 to $30 million on these two players is the best allocation of limited funds to beat CIncy and KC.
  23. It's official: 4 years, $160 million!! https://www.nfl.com/news/giants-qb-daniel-jones-agree-to-four-year-160-million-contract
  24. Thanks for ignoring the details about what I said. IF he wants to stay, this is an unnecessary distraction and a poor decision. That's my big point. Is there another reasonable explanation for Diggs doing this that involves him wanting him to remain a Buffalo Bill?
