Matt Araiza, The Punt God, Signs With Team in Mexico
Donuts and Doritos replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
Which Kapernick, Rice or Watson? (Not that any 2 situations are ever exactly the same. Pt is I could see him being blackballed or he could get picked up, NFL has played it both ways before) -
Why is Eric Bieniemy available as an OC?

So the KC OC is now w/ DC. 🤔 -

Tell that to Colin Kaepernick (never criminally or civilly charged w/ anything) or Ray Rice (criminal Charges dropped. I know there was a video but he was never convicted). Of course there is Watson who got another shot in Cleveland, so ya never know. I'd rather stick with Sam Martin, he did great this year, wasn't a distraction. -

Howard Simon "Winding down" from WGR
Donuts and Doritos replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
Congratulations Howard! I'll miss hearing him in the morning, he kept it fun & often repeated the frustrations I felt. I would love to see Sal move in there, but my bet is it'll be Joe. -
Sorry Canada. But the 1st American Football game was played November 6, 1869 between Rutgers vs Princeton in New Brunswick NJ. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_football Walter Camp is considered the father of American Football & was an American. https://connecticuthistory.org/the-father-of-american-football-is-born-today-in-history-april-7/#:~:text=Walter Camp is credited with, stemmed from Walter Camp's influence. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Camp

Josh Allen massive favorite in odds to win 2023 NFL MVP
Donuts and Doritos replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hasn't he been the favorite the last 2 years & come up short? Is this just history repeating itself? -
I agree you have to capitalize on your opportunities & they blew this one. But Eagles have #10 pick & #31 pick in the draft, with a good core in place, I like their chances.

That was a flag you pick up.

It was 3rd down. They'd have kicked & we'd have gotten an exciting minute twenty of football to see if Philly could come back. Instead I got a boring anticlimactic minute of Mahomes kneeing for a gimme field goal. The refs determined that, ending with that call. He was inside 5 yds where he can have contact, there wasn't much of a hold, that's a no call all season long, not sure why they decided to make the game about them there instead of letting them play. & The "what's a catch" calls must have had the international audiences saying "boy what's with Americans not knowing a catch when they see one". In the end Philly should have won, but let the Chiefs back in it & really only have themselves to blame.

Trevon Diggs trying to get his brother in Dallas
Donuts and Doritos replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
How is this not tampering? He's under contract? Didn't Lebron James get tagged for doing this same type of BS. He needs to shut up. Dallas is a rich big market team, they need to stop stealing from other teams. This is complete crap & the NFL should step in & come down on him hard & investigate if the Cowgirls & Jerry are behind this lobbying campaign. -
Apparently Vegas doesn't agree the Bills are done...

Perhaps not, but they've been known to take a gamble on things. -
How do the Bills win the Super Bowl next year?
Donuts and Doritos replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
New OC Upgrade LG, RG & RT Upgrade WR2 & slot WR Upgrade TE2 Keep Edmunds Either keep or replace Poyer w/ a clone Keep Phillips or upgrade that DT spot Another finisher on pass rush Consider getting a new DC Most of this will not happen. -
Good for him. He deserved it. How McD didn't get it when he took the Bills to the playoffs his first year w/ that roster.

If Frazier returns, how much will your enthusism die?
Donuts and Doritos replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
10 pts!!! What D was holding Cincy to under 10 pts? (This ain't baseball). The D kept us in the Miami game the week before (throwing 2 deep posts to Davis back to back when we needed to burn clock was brilliant play calling by Dorsey), the D & 2 kick returns beat the Pats as the O sputtered. The D did alright most of the season, dealing w/ injuries & being put in short field situations thanks to the O turnovers. The D had a bad game against Cincy for sure, & I agree about last year's playoff loss. But I don't get where the confidence comes from that Dorsey will figure it out. He didn't all year, the O struggled from the GB second half on (except for the lowly Bears). He does no picks, no rubs, no quick slants to beat the blitz, schemes no one open, it's chuck it down field over and over. As Greg Cosell said it's vanilla play calling. He expects his receivers to win one on one & relies on Josh to be Superman all the time. It's too difficult, doesn't work & he made no changes to it. Love how he incorporated Hines & Shakir (why did we bother to even get them). His competitiveness & desire is unquestionable (booth tantrum proved that), it's his ability that seems lacking. If he coulda done better he woulda done better, but he can't & 10 pts against good teams is what we'll get next playoffs. I'm not saying I wouldn't move on from Frasier, but Dorsey is not the guy. But hey, we're stuck w/ both of them. So here's to hoping we get some massive upgrades (especially WR2 & O-line), to maybe make up for the play calling deficiencies. We shall see. -

No D was holding Cincy to less than the measley 10 pts Dorsey's O out up. The D kept us in the Miami game the week before (when Dorsey called to Go routes to Davis back to back when we needed to run clock), the D & 2 kick returns beat the Pats. The D held long enough for the O to get it together in a number of games this year & held despite getting put on short fields bc of turnovers by the O. Dorsey schemes no one open, there are no picks, rubs, very few quick slants. Don't know why we think he's going to improve, he didn't get better as the season went on, it actually looked like they got worse. By the time he does our window could be closed. Point is, Frazier has had good D's & dealt w/ a lot of injuries, Dorsey has never shown he can do it for a season, & his group was relatively healthy when they put up 10 pts. & While you may be right about McD, they way he handled the Hamlin situation absolutely buys him at least another season. -
We scored 10 pts that last game. 10!. Even Aaron Donald isn't holding Cinci to less than 10 pts. Our D kept us afloat in the Miami game the week before & we needed 2 kick returns to beat the Pats. We need O-line help & a WR2. We've sunk 2 first round picks 2 second round picks & $100 million Von Miller into the D-line. Need to spend resources on the offense for once. It can't be all Allen & Diggs all the time there or we will never reach the SB. Just see what GB has done for years, puting resources into the D & expecting Aaron Rodgers's greatness to carry the day on O. That clearly doesn't work. Need a real supporting cast for Josh & Diggs.

Diggs blown out at best catch competition, looks like it's time for an upgrade. 😜
