  1. Eagles & Giants won SBs w/ back up QBs. 49ers had more injuries than you can count & were on their 3rd string 'Mr. Irrelevant" QB & still made the Championship game. No doubt Bills had tons of adversity, but last year it was the OT coin flip rules screwed them, this year it's adversity. Enough excuses, SB teams find a way to overcome these things. They blinked.
  2. Saffold... Pro bowl's a complete joke. Cancel the whole damn thing.
  3. While I'd generally agree GMs are cagy, he really wasn't. He tipped his hand that Dorsey will be back & was pretty strident in his defense of Spencer Brown & Gabe Davis. He didn't need to be soo committal on any of them, but he chose to. Not expecting a lot, certainly seems at this point he's bringing Dorsey back like he said. So I don't see next season being much different.
  4. Wait, Beane make changes to fix our problems, like at O-Line & OC, are you kidding, did you see his presser?
  5. Unless there's a major upgrade at WR2 & the O-line overhauled, I expect more of the same, 1st or 2nd round exit. Even w/ those changes I have no faith in Dorsey as OC to get it done.
  6. No!! Coached one of the best QBs & a good roster for 15 years & got 1 SB appearance/win in his 3rd season, other 14 years were the same as what we have now. He's not an upgrade & that's an expensive price to pay to get a poorer version of Bill Parcells post Giants coaching.
  7. Milano & White. Edmunds (at times). Waiting for Ed Oliver but he's not there yet, waiting on Knox (w/ a better O-Line & OC I think he could get there). Maybe, maybe, maybe Dawkins could get there w/ better play at LG & O-Line overall. Too soon to tell on 2023 draft class. That's it.
  8. Better way to ask it is, can we upgrade from him? Personally, I think we can, in which case no he's not our king term answer at RT.
  9. No kidding. Didn't need Bill Parcells to point this out, a blind man could see what the Bills need. Hopefully Beane does something about it (his presser doesn't instill confidence).
  10. Kind of like Peterman, "got to watch the tape", the blind loyalty over demanding results is an Achilles heal of McD & Beane. Maybe that's why it's Soo hard for rookies to crack the starting lineup over struggling vets & underperforming coordinators are safe.
  11. Anything to distract us all from the playoff losses on the field. They may loose yet again in the divisional but at least they'll look cool doing it.
  12. I'll wait to see the draft, but it sure seems like we're running this car in neutral next year.
  13. This is already being discussed in the "Bills Coaching Staff Changes" thread.
  14. Either: "The Too Tired Game" Or, "The Hurl Game"
  15. Depends on the off season moves. What do we aquire & what changes do we make? What do Jets & Phins do at QB? (If it's Rodgers & Brady, not sure how I'll stomach watching)
  16. Cinci loss highlighted how bad the 13 seconds loss was. That was our chance, we were 13 seconds away, & now we're even further away.
  17. It's a real problem if they get Rodgers with all the talent on that team.
  18. Gabe's career catch % is 55.3%. Here's his season breakdown: 2020: 56.5% 2021: 55.6% 2022: 51.6% That's not good enough under Daboll or Dorsey. We need a WR2 or better yet a second WR1, like the Bengals have going. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/what-is-gabriel-davis-catch-percentage-career#:~:text=Gabe Davis has caught 55.3 percent of targets in his career.
  19. If they get a call to trade for a good WR2 (ie: Pittman or comparable) they should listen.
  20. Beane basically said yesterday we aren't getting any new toys for Christmas, so stop window shopping, you'll only be disappointed.
  21. WR#2 & O-Line need upgrades are higher priorities than safety. We need Weapons for Josh. Can't keep neglecting the O, like Green Bay has done to Rodgers.
  22. None of the players you mentioned played offense, so it doesn't fix the only scoring 10 pts problem. Excuses can be made if people want for the D. But the O isn't good enough & needs to be fixed. Beane's presser is discouraging bc he seems to think there is no problem & sounds like he's content to run it back. If he does, don't hold your breath that they'll get a different outcome next year.
  23. In related news Russian State TV says while there was a slight set back, the special military operation is going well & they expect victory next year if they just stay the course.
  24. Davis 54.2% catch percentage McKenzie 64.6% catch percentage We had to bring back Beasley & Brown a month ago at Josh's request bc the Offense was not clicking. They barely survived Miami twice, had to rely on 2 run backs by Hines to beat NE, & frankly struggled to beat anyone not named the Chicago Bears in the second half of the season. This was NOT a 1 bad game issue, contrary to what Beane said in his presser. This team was not a legit contender for a while & finally the warts were put on full display. Question is what are they going to do to fix it. Beane's press conference does not instill confidence that they're going to do much of anything bc, ya know it to as just 1 bad game & all. As Richard Pryor once said: "who ya gonna believe, me or your lieing eyes?"
