For those still upset we didn’t trade up for Jordan Addison…
Donuts and Doritos replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Um, he was going so fast he thought the sign said 150 mph, what? Plus, Lamborghini miles per hour 150 = 55 in a regular car. -
Top 10 offensive coordinators as per PFF
Donuts and Doritos replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
How is Brian Callahan, the Cinci OC not on this list? Been to a Superbowl & another AFC Championship game. Kicked our arse along the way. & Most reasonable people would agree the Cinci offense is rop 10 in the league. -

Von Miller crashed into Patrick Mahomes
Donuts and Doritos replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was part of the telecast. Von was the guy there to cheer for the NFL team & trash talk the NBA team. There was an NBA player there who was doing the opposite. It was NFL vs NBA essentially, all for fun & charity. -
Meh.... Muted every one of them.

Help me understand the Ken Dorsey hate
Donuts and Doritos replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dissatisfied not hated. As Greg Cossell pointed out from film study, he did not scheme receivers open, no picks or rubs, it was line up 1 on 1 & beat your guy. This doesn't help Diggs get off double teams, & the other receivers couldn't consistently win. Didn't take pressure off Josh w/ easy throws it was a lot of 20 yard chucks. For example the infamous 2nd & 3 pass 30 yards deep to Davis incomplete, line up & do the exact same play with the same results & a punt. Several analysts said the schemes were elementary not very exotic & you could see it in the field. Multiple receivers in the same area happened a lot, if it was player error he didn't fix it, but the film & consistency sure made it looked like part of the plan. There also seemed to be a disconnect between weapons Beane got & Dorsey's usage of them. Hynes & Shakir barely got used, Knox resigned & his targets went down. The result was it was all on Josh. & He never adjusted. Yes there were injuries & poor performances which absolutely contributed, it's not all on Dorsey by any means, but the schemes didn't adjust to help the players with any of that to the degree that it should have. & It's showed. In the playoffs they put up 10 pts against Cincinnati, 10; & needed 2 kick returns to beat the Pats; & looked sloppy against the Phins (7 sacks, 3 ints & a fumble). Now, they looked off the season before under Daboll at points too, but Daboll adjusted & after the Tampa game figured out the fix, then the O was lights out in the playoffs against NE & KC. Hopefully it's a first year learning curve & he comes back improved & ready. & Yes the players need to improve & stay healthy too. So it's not hate, it's trying to have a realistic assessment of strengths & weaknesses. -
Is this year make or break for McDermott?
Donuts and Doritos replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dorsey will be the fall guy for a failed 2023. But McD is last man standing for a failed 2024. Though the Pegulas may not see it that way & keep on going with McD even past then. -

Maybe he overslept, Or he had the time written wrong, Or the power went out resetting his clock, Or his bathroom sprang a leak, Or his car wouldn't start, Or traffic was really bad, Or his goldfish was sick, Or his dog ate the paper he had the minicamp info on, Or GPS got him lost on his way, Or Jehovah's Witnesses came to the door as he was trying to leave. I mean any of those things could be the reason. My boss didn't buy any of them either. But there's a chance.

Frank Clark Signed By The Broncos
Donuts and Doritos replied to Donuts and Doritos's topic in The Stadium Wall
In NY the police need Reasonable Suspicion that they can articulate to stop a car (ie: speeding, fail to signal, or they have a reason to believe the car has something wrong with it, among other possible reasons). Then they can speak with the occupant. They can't search the car, it's passengers or contents unless they then have developed further Probable Cause. This can come from something said by the occupants or something observed. For example if they see drugs or a gun in plain view they can search the car or if the person says they have them (yes people are dumb enough to do this) then they can search. Some states have differing rules on the scope of this, but the basic premise is the same. For example NY used to have the rule that the smell of marijuana means the police can search the car, it's contents (including bags) and it's occupants. That rule changed in the last few years & is no longer the case, unless they are conducting a DWAI Drugs investigation, then that rule applies. However other states may still have the older NY rule. For officer safety searches they have to have an articulable reason to believe there is a danger & usually they will have the person out of the car in that situation to get them away from any bags, start by talking to them & if they have a reason to believe there is a safety issue usually start with a pat down. Finally a driver could always just consent to a search. So in sum no the police can't just pull a person over and search their car, it's contents or them without probable cause, and if they do it will be suppressed in Court and the case likely dismissed. But if they get probable cause then yes they can search. -
