  1. We'll, Payton's off to Denver, so it's all academic anyway. (Not that he was ever coming here since we aren't moving on from McD). Let's hope we fix the issues on the roster.
  2. That's why I said he's a top 5 all time coach, never said he was "mediocre". I agree his constant switching spots may have contributed, but the point is everyone thought bringing him in would equal SB win (much like some seem to think w/ Payton) & it didn't. & The fact that Payton isn't as good only makes my argument that bringing him in will not automatically equate to a SB ring that much more compelling.
  3. Bye-bye Lou, get the hell outta the AFC.
  4. This might be the most entertaining Pro Bowl ever, in a car crash kind of way, it's awful but you can't pull your eyes away.
  5. He never won a Superbowl after he left the Giants. Sure, he improved teams & got them to the post season, but McD does that now. We're talking about upgrading not to reach the SB, but to win it, which Parcells (who's a top 5 all time great) never did. That's what I believe you'll get w/ Sean Payton, a great coach who won't get us a ring.
  6. We'll they do light it for the NJ Giants & NJ Jets, so there's precedent for the out of state teams.
  7. Eagles & Giants won SBs w/ back up QBs. 49ers had more injuries than you can count & were on their 3rd string 'Mr. Irrelevant" QB & still made the Championship game. No doubt Bills had tons of adversity, but last year it was the OT coin flip rules screwed them, this year it's adversity. Enough excuses, SB teams find a way to overcome these things. They blinked.
  8. Saffold... Pro bowl's a complete joke. Cancel the whole damn thing.
  9. While I'd generally agree GMs are cagy, he really wasn't. He tipped his hand that Dorsey will be back & was pretty strident in his defense of Spencer Brown & Gabe Davis. He didn't need to be soo committal on any of them, but he chose to. Not expecting a lot, certainly seems at this point he's bringing Dorsey back like he said. So I don't see next season being much different.
  10. Wait, Beane make changes to fix our problems, like at O-Line & OC, are you kidding, did you see his presser?
  11. Unless there's a major upgrade at WR2 & the O-line overhauled, I expect more of the same, 1st or 2nd round exit. Even w/ those changes I have no faith in Dorsey as OC to get it done.
  12. No!! Coached one of the best QBs & a good roster for 15 years & got 1 SB appearance/win in his 3rd season, other 14 years were the same as what we have now. He's not an upgrade & that's an expensive price to pay to get a poorer version of Bill Parcells post Giants coaching.
  13. Milano & White. Edmunds (at times). Waiting for Ed Oliver but he's not there yet, waiting on Knox (w/ a better O-Line & OC I think he could get there). Maybe, maybe, maybe Dawkins could get there w/ better play at LG & O-Line overall. Too soon to tell on 2023 draft class. That's it.
  14. Better way to ask it is, can we upgrade from him? Personally, I think we can, in which case no he's not our king term answer at RT.
  15. No kidding. Didn't need Bill Parcells to point this out, a blind man could see what the Bills need. Hopefully Beane does something about it (his presser doesn't instill confidence).
  16. Kind of like Peterman, "got to watch the tape", the blind loyalty over demanding results is an Achilles heal of McD & Beane. Maybe that's why it's Soo hard for rookies to crack the starting lineup over struggling vets & underperforming coordinators are safe.
  17. Anything to distract us all from the playoff losses on the field. They may loose yet again in the divisional but at least they'll look cool doing it.
  18. I'll wait to see the draft, but it sure seems like we're running this car in neutral next year.
  19. This is already being discussed in the "Bills Coaching Staff Changes" thread.
  20. Either: "The Too Tired Game" Or, "The Hurl Game"
  21. Depends on the off season moves. What do we aquire & what changes do we make? What do Jets & Phins do at QB? (If it's Rodgers & Brady, not sure how I'll stomach watching)
  22. Cinci loss highlighted how bad the 13 seconds loss was. That was our chance, we were 13 seconds away, & now we're even further away.
