  1. New OC Upgrade LG, RG & RT Upgrade WR2 & slot WR Upgrade TE2 Keep Edmunds Either keep or replace Poyer w/ a clone Keep Phillips or upgrade that DT spot Another finisher on pass rush Consider getting a new DC Most of this will not happen.
  2. Good for him. He deserved it. How McD didn't get it when he took the Bills to the playoffs his first year w/ that roster.
  3. Dude! That was my Uncle's sister's cousin & he said he was just kidding with him.
  4. 10 pts!!! What D was holding Cincy to under 10 pts? (This ain't baseball). The D kept us in the Miami game the week before (throwing 2 deep posts to Davis back to back when we needed to burn clock was brilliant play calling by Dorsey), the D & 2 kick returns beat the Pats as the O sputtered. The D did alright most of the season, dealing w/ injuries & being put in short field situations thanks to the O turnovers. The D had a bad game against Cincy for sure, & I agree about last year's playoff loss. But I don't get where the confidence comes from that Dorsey will figure it out. He didn't all year, the O struggled from the GB second half on (except for the lowly Bears). He does no picks, no rubs, no quick slants to beat the blitz, schemes no one open, it's chuck it down field over and over. As Greg Cosell said it's vanilla play calling. He expects his receivers to win one on one & relies on Josh to be Superman all the time. It's too difficult, doesn't work & he made no changes to it. Love how he incorporated Hines & Shakir (why did we bother to even get them). His competitiveness & desire is unquestionable (booth tantrum proved that), it's his ability that seems lacking. If he coulda done better he woulda done better, but he can't & 10 pts against good teams is what we'll get next playoffs. I'm not saying I wouldn't move on from Frasier, but Dorsey is not the guy. But hey, we're stuck w/ both of them. So here's to hoping we get some massive upgrades (especially WR2 & O-line), to maybe make up for the play calling deficiencies. We shall see.
  5. No D was holding Cincy to less than the measley 10 pts Dorsey's O out up. The D kept us in the Miami game the week before (when Dorsey called to Go routes to Davis back to back when we needed to run clock), the D & 2 kick returns beat the Pats. The D held long enough for the O to get it together in a number of games this year & held despite getting put on short fields bc of turnovers by the O. Dorsey schemes no one open, there are no picks, rubs, very few quick slants. Don't know why we think he's going to improve, he didn't get better as the season went on, it actually looked like they got worse. By the time he does our window could be closed. Point is, Frazier has had good D's & dealt w/ a lot of injuries, Dorsey has never shown he can do it for a season, & his group was relatively healthy when they put up 10 pts. & While you may be right about McD, they way he handled the Hamlin situation absolutely buys him at least another season.
  6. We scored 10 pts that last game. 10!. Even Aaron Donald isn't holding Cinci to less than 10 pts. Our D kept us afloat in the Miami game the week before & we needed 2 kick returns to beat the Pats. We need O-line help & a WR2. We've sunk 2 first round picks 2 second round picks & $100 million Von Miller into the D-line. Need to spend resources on the offense for once. It can't be all Allen & Diggs all the time there or we will never reach the SB. Just see what GB has done for years, puting resources into the D & expecting Aaron Rodgers's greatness to carry the day on O. That clearly doesn't work. Need a real supporting cast for Josh & Diggs.
  7. Diggs blown out at best catch competition, looks like it's time for an upgrade. 😜
  8. We broke. & We aren't a DT away. Need offensive upgrades.
  9. He's coming back & so is Dorsey. Dorsey I think is more of a concern. I'm not enthused, but I'll withhold final Judgement until I see what our final Roster moves look like. Need some upgrades.
  10. Until they invest 1st round draft capital & surround him with weapons other than Diggs & build up a legit O-line, they will be wasting his talents. The O can't be Josh playing Superman all the time. I really hope they're right about keeping Dorsey, cause I don't see it.
  11. Um, Orlovsky stepped out the back of an end zone for a safety, so I take what he says w/ a wee bit of salt. https://youtu.be/J0OkR986LL4
  12. Solid points all the way around. Thanks.
  13. Glad he's done. Stayed 2 years too long. Hated him when he played. But can't deny he was the greatest to do it, the Jordan of the sport.
  14. Interesting points & I don't disagree that we need a talent upgrade in the WR room. However, Diggs, Beas & Brown all had career years when they upgraded to Allen as their QB. They were established players prior to being here. What exactly did Hall change about their games that brought that out or was it simply a product of the upgrade to Allen as QB? Davis was expected by the Bills to be the #2 this year, he wasn't, (was Hall consulted on that decision? maybe), he had the second lowest catch % in the entire NFL this year and has a 55.3% career catch %, that's not my opinion, it's just facts. Davis may have been a 4 round pick but Diggs was a 5th. I'm sure Hall is a fine coach, but the WR unit underperformed expectations. (Tied for 2nd in the league in drops). I'm curious who he's really developed? Do we really think he's developed Davis, McKenzie, Shakir, Hodgins into consistent WRs for us? It seems like all our talent over his tenure has come from imports of established guys. So what drafted players has he brought along to being a consistent top 3 WR on our team? In the end I'm not saying he's a bad coach or that we shouldn't keep him, I'm just not sure that if he gets the OC gig, we're going to notice a big drop off in play. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/who-has-the-lowest-catch-percentage-among-wide-receivers https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/what-is-gabriel-davis-catch-percentage-career#:~:text=Gabe Davis has caught 55.3 percent of targets in his career. https://scores.nbcsports.com/fb/tmleaders.asp?type=Receiving&range=NFL&rank=232
  15. Who has he developed that wasn't already great? Diggs, Beasley, Brown, Sanders were already established players prior to his coaching them. Davis is a 54% career catch rate who can only run 3 routes per several CBs we've played & clearly was not the WR2. McKenzie really hasn't progressed. Shakir didn't do much this year. Isaiah Hodgins never really played. Saying all the WR are crap but the WR Coach is awesome seems like saying "he's the best leader of a failed unit". We fired our Safeties coach & his group was so decimated by injuries he had to play 5th stringers. So who has he developed? What WR2, slot WR has he produced for us? Are you satisfied with the WR group? What makes everyone think he's so good other than the players like him (Josh likes Dorsey, & I'm not convinced he's very good)?
  16. We'll, Payton's off to Denver, so it's all academic anyway. (Not that he was ever coming here since we aren't moving on from McD). Let's hope we fix the issues on the roster.
  17. That's why I said he's a top 5 all time coach, never said he was "mediocre". I agree his constant switching spots may have contributed, but the point is everyone thought bringing him in would equal SB win (much like some seem to think w/ Payton) & it didn't. & The fact that Payton isn't as good only makes my argument that bringing him in will not automatically equate to a SB ring that much more compelling.
  18. Bye-bye Lou, get the hell outta the AFC.
  19. This might be the most entertaining Pro Bowl ever, in a car crash kind of way, it's awful but you can't pull your eyes away.
  20. He never won a Superbowl after he left the Giants. Sure, he improved teams & got them to the post season, but McD does that now. We're talking about upgrading not to reach the SB, but to win it, which Parcells (who's a top 5 all time great) never did. That's what I believe you'll get w/ Sean Payton, a great coach who won't get us a ring.
  21. We'll they do light it for the NJ Giants & NJ Jets, so there's precedent for the out of state teams.
