  1. "winning is the most important thing in my life after breathing" - the wise words of John Lennon, I believe.
  2. Time to pillage the KC & Cinci D coaching staffs!!! ...wait, we plundered the Panthers again for Al Holcomb?
  3. He's an inconsistent pass catcher. Some games he's on, others he's off. Thus he's 50%. It's not just stats, it's visible when you watch the games. His route tree is limited, his foot work is slow & he can't separate easily, which is why he has to go way down field. He can't separate & get the needed shorter intermediate catches with any kind of consistency. We can & should upgrade from him @ WR2.
  4. Read the article. It's not 1 year it's all 3 years. 2020 = 56.5% 2021 = 55.6% 2022 = 51.6% He has one of the lowest catch % in the NFL over all 3 years & it's been declining each year. This is who he is, a low catch % WR.
  5. 54.1% career catch percentage. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/what-is-gabriel-davis-catch-percentage-career#:~:text=Gabe Davis has caught 54.1 percent of targets in his career.
  6. Which Kapernick, Rice or Watson? (Not that any 2 situations are ever exactly the same. Pt is I could see him being blackballed or he could get picked up, NFL has played it both ways before)
  7. So the KC OC is now w/ DC. 🤔
  8. Tell that to Colin Kaepernick (never criminally or civilly charged w/ anything) or Ray Rice (criminal Charges dropped. I know there was a video but he was never convicted). Of course there is Watson who got another shot in Cleveland, so ya never know. I'd rather stick with Sam Martin, he did great this year, wasn't a distraction.
  9. Wonder if he wants to play with his Brother in Pittsburgh or is just after the $$?
  10. Congratulations Howard! I'll miss hearing him in the morning, he kept it fun & often repeated the frustrations I felt. I would love to see Sal move in there, but my bet is it'll be Joe.
  11. Here's how the forward pass came into American Football (it was to help prevent deaths which might result in the game being outlawed. It evolved over time): https://www.history.com/news/forward-pass-football-invented-origins
  12. Sorry Canada. But the 1st American Football game was played November 6, 1869 between Rutgers vs Princeton in New Brunswick NJ. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_football Walter Camp is considered the father of American Football & was an American. https://connecticuthistory.org/the-father-of-american-football-is-born-today-in-history-april-7/#:~:text=Walter Camp is credited with, stemmed from Walter Camp's influence. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Camp
  13. This "Just Wait Till Next Year" song Lee's singing is a remake I've heard the last 40+ years. It's an oldie but not a goodie & it's wearing thin. We're stuck w/ Dorsey whether we like it or not. Hope he improves a ton.
  14. Never heard of him.
  15. Watching Bills w/ my kids, 1 was eating Doritos, the other Donuts. I thought it was odd but funny. & as it turns out they actually do make Doritos Donuts (I've never had them) https://www.thrillist.com/eat/an-easy-recipe-for-late-night-donuts https://www.pinterest.com/pin/779333910495365614/
  16. Replace our entire team & coaching staff, except for Allen & Diggs, for KC's entire team & coaching staff.
  17. Hasn't he been the favorite the last 2 years & come up short? Is this just history repeating itself?
  18. I agree you have to capitalize on your opportunities & they blew this one. But Eagles have #10 pick & #31 pick in the draft, with a good core in place, I like their chances.
  19. That was a flag you pick up.
  20. It was 3rd down. They'd have kicked & we'd have gotten an exciting minute twenty of football to see if Philly could come back. Instead I got a boring anticlimactic minute of Mahomes kneeing for a gimme field goal. The refs determined that, ending with that call. He was inside 5 yds where he can have contact, there wasn't much of a hold, that's a no call all season long, not sure why they decided to make the game about them there instead of letting them play. & The "what's a catch" calls must have had the international audiences saying "boy what's with Americans not knowing a catch when they see one". In the end Philly should have won, but let the Chiefs back in it & really only have themselves to blame.
  21. How is this not tampering? He's under contract? Didn't Lebron James get tagged for doing this same type of BS. He needs to shut up. Dallas is a rich big market team, they need to stop stealing from other teams. This is complete crap & the NFL should step in & come down on him hard & investigate if the Cowgirls & Jerry are behind this lobbying campaign.
  22. Perhaps not, but they've been known to take a gamble on things.
