  1. It's looking like LB is the biggest hole. Still need a WR2 upgrade. But I think (based on his press comments) Beane wants best offensive weapon available, which in this draft may be TE.
  2. That depends, if it's lingerie your giving her for XMAS 🤩... Then NO this is nothing like that. But if it's what your getting... yeah, this is pretty much that.
  3. Folks want the Gronk - Hernandez 1 - 2 punch the Pats had years ago. & With a reportedly weak WR class combined w/ a reportedly strong TE class, there's some that feel this is the best path forward.
  4. No one wants to see how the sausages get made. Just get on w/ it already.
  5. Love Poyer. Plays tough, with heart & passion. Glad he's a Bill.
  6. The key is IF he uses them. Heard a lot of the same hype about Hynes & Shakir last season. They barely got used. He seems like another, faster version. But if they use, I mean don't use him, the same, who cares. Hopefully that disconnect between Beane's purchases & Dorsey's usages has been fixed & then you are correct about the result. But until I see it, I have trouble believing it. Still, I hope you're right.
  7. Sean, got ya another gadget guy. Great Brandon, put him over there on the pile w/ Mackenzie, Hines & Shakir who we aren't using. Thanks.
  8. He's talking about wanting to know what free agents Beane's going to bring in. I like the guy, has heart, loves the team & embraces the community. Does need to work on the hands though
  9. 3 years $72 million...
  10. "winning is the most important thing in my life after breathing" - the wise words of John Lennon, I believe.
  11. Time to pillage the KC & Cinci D coaching staffs!!! ...wait, we plundered the Panthers again for Al Holcomb?
  12. He's an inconsistent pass catcher. Some games he's on, others he's off. Thus he's 50%. It's not just stats, it's visible when you watch the games. His route tree is limited, his foot work is slow & he can't separate easily, which is why he has to go way down field. He can't separate & get the needed shorter intermediate catches with any kind of consistency. We can & should upgrade from him @ WR2.
  13. Read the article. It's not 1 year it's all 3 years. 2020 = 56.5% 2021 = 55.6% 2022 = 51.6% He has one of the lowest catch % in the NFL over all 3 years & it's been declining each year. This is who he is, a low catch % WR.
  14. 54.1% career catch percentage. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/what-is-gabriel-davis-catch-percentage-career#:~:text=Gabe Davis has caught 54.1 percent of targets in his career.
  15. Which Kapernick, Rice or Watson? (Not that any 2 situations are ever exactly the same. Pt is I could see him being blackballed or he could get picked up, NFL has played it both ways before)
  16. So the KC OC is now w/ DC. 🤔
  17. Tell that to Colin Kaepernick (never criminally or civilly charged w/ anything) or Ray Rice (criminal Charges dropped. I know there was a video but he was never convicted). Of course there is Watson who got another shot in Cleveland, so ya never know. I'd rather stick with Sam Martin, he did great this year, wasn't a distraction.
  18. Wonder if he wants to play with his Brother in Pittsburgh or is just after the $$?
  19. Congratulations Howard! I'll miss hearing him in the morning, he kept it fun & often repeated the frustrations I felt. I would love to see Sal move in there, but my bet is it'll be Joe.
  20. Here's how the forward pass came into American Football (it was to help prevent deaths which might result in the game being outlawed. It evolved over time): https://www.history.com/news/forward-pass-football-invented-origins
  21. Sorry Canada. But the 1st American Football game was played November 6, 1869 between Rutgers vs Princeton in New Brunswick NJ. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_football Walter Camp is considered the father of American Football & was an American. https://connecticuthistory.org/the-father-of-american-football-is-born-today-in-history-april-7/#:~:text=Walter Camp is credited with, stemmed from Walter Camp's influence. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Camp
  22. This "Just Wait Till Next Year" song Lee's singing is a remake I've heard the last 40+ years. It's an oldie but not a goodie & it's wearing thin. We're stuck w/ Dorsey whether we like it or not. Hope he improves a ton.
