  1. This is why this game is simply massive. We lose and we might not have a chance to retake division lead until December again. And looking ahead at Miami's schedule it's much more inviting than the Bills who still have some very tough matchups ahead in the coming weeks.
  2. Current injury situation is very concerning, but if there's any potential that Hyde is lost for the season it really changes things in terms of this defense for the rest of the season and feel this injury could be more significant than White's last year. Have some potential talent behind Hyde but not a plug and play type of situation.
  3. There's no question this franchise has completely turned around since 2017, but I think the bigger picture is still all about the Lombardi trophy and until that happens nothing else really matters at this point with this regime.
  4. If this team makes any moves it's going to be for veteran DB. As good as these young guys have looked I still think when we face a team that has a great oline and QB (i.e. the Chiefs) it's going to be a big problem. Plus still no guarantees that White will be ready to play at a high level whenever he's back this year.
  5. Again, winning a SB matters. Does it mean he's Vince Lombard or Bill Belichik no, but it garners respect. Also let's be serious here, this team is oozing with so much talent Rex Ryan or Doug Marrone would be in the same boat with this roster especially since both have been have also been to AFCCG's before and frankly did much better than McD's only trip there so far. Barry Switzer also won a SB with the Dallas Cowboys, most casual fans probably don't even know who he is but it proves a point that talent can sometimes reign supreme. Just sick of fans thinking McDermott is some messiah that should be worshipped here when it's really about Josh Allen being the main reason this franchise has turned around and that's on Beane if anything, not McD either. If McD is part of a SB winning team in Buffalo only an idiot would still criticize him afterwards.
  6. I'll never truly believe McDermott is 'the guy' until he gets this team to a SB. Bad coaching is often overlooked when you are running other teams off the field but at some point when things tighten up (and trust me they will no matter how good this team is this year) it's coaching that ultimately decides a game and that's exactly what happened last year in KC no matter how many want to forget about that game.
  7. It says a lot but we really don't know how good this team is yet until they play another serious contender which could be this week. I think the Titans window has closed although in the AFCS it could be one of those years where a 7-10 team wins the division and makes the playoffs. Rams I think are still a very legit team as the defending world champion but they almost blew the game last week against a bad falcons team that most feel will be in the #1 overall pick conversation this year and time will tell if the Rams are still elite or not. Either way it's a good time to be alive and enjoy this ride because personally I've waited since the mid 90's for this type of team again.
  8. Anything is possible in this league but I think guys like Mahomes, Allen, Brady, etc would have to fall off the face of the earth first.
  9. Sorry but I still need to see what McD does in a critical situation again late in a game when this team is either ahead by a few points, tied, or trailing. Because the warning signs were still there that he doesn't seem to make the best decisions and still fear that could cost this team when it matters again like KC last year. I also think the 0-6 in close games stigma isn't going away until proven otherwise as well.
  10. It's still early in the season, but we did just face the best DT in the NFL last week in Aaron Donald and another top 10 one in Jeffrey Simmons. I think that may have a bit more to do with the situation, in addition to wasting snaps on Zack Moss. If I hear one more person say he's a power/physical back my head might explode.
  11. McDermott still concerns me and I fear it will be a bigger issue in a close game down the road, especially in the playoffs. I'd also really like to know what Zack Moss has McD/Beane/etc that he's still on this roster and touching the football.
  12. I've been a big Edmunds critic but this isn't unexpected since it's a contract year combined with the best dline he's ever played behind. Obviously if it keeps up though he's likely playing his way out of Buffalo because we aren't giving a MLB a record contract next year no matter how much a wizard Beane is it's simply not going to be possible.
  13. You can argue this is probably going to be Miami's 'regular season superbowl' similar to the Bills/Chiefs game last year in that they want to prove they can beat this team and will put all their eggs in the proverbial basket to do so. And not sure the Dolphins will get a better shot at the Bills again given the circumstances (i.e. short week, injury bug on defense, etc). With that said I still have a hard time seeing anyone slowing down the Bills machine right now.
  14. Definitely amazing stuff here, but I want this team to be able to win a close game and hope that opportunity comes sooner than later and not in the playoffs.
  15. Perfect fit and thought all along it'd be a team like GB or Tampa that signs him. Not good news for the rest of the league giving Brady another Edleman type of player which is something that has been missing during his time with the Bucs. It's going to get real old hearing about Brady to Beasely over and over later this season. Would be another great storyline too if the Bills and Bucs meet in the SB which a lot of folks predicted before the season.
  16. If the Dolphins do win this game it's likely going to be because of all the injuries on a short week and they come out of the other end of a shootout with JA17. Obviously we'll know more in a few days but not promising right now with the prospects of missing Jackson, Hyde, Milano, Phillips, etc who have all been key contributors so far.
  17. The only RB's that should be touching the ball are Singletary and Cook. But I'm all for giving Gilliam some touches if it means keeping Zack Moss far away from the field.
  18. After last night I may have to re-evaluate things. Obviously still early but I'm really not sure the Bills don't run roughshot over the rest of the division after all including the Dolphins this week. There will be a bad game and/or game they drop unexpectedly at some point but I now I think going into Miami and winning is more likely outcome than before last night.
  19. Oh wonderful more Zack Moss can't wait!
  20. I have nothing to fear with Miami. They might have finally turned the corner like the Bills but Tua has a long way to go before he's in the same conversation as Brady, Mahomes or JA17 for that matter. More interested in the hype of 2 possible SB contenders squaring off for early season bragging rights and commanding lead in AFC East.
  21. Outside of Mahomes I really hate the chiefs and type of players they have which is sad even though one of the bigger POS isn't even there anymore and on dolphins now.
  22. Scott - looking forward to a big win tonight even if it's not a blowout like some here think. I would actually like to see this team prove they can win close games again if it comes down to it. Regardless anxiety will be off the charts the next 6 days though because Miami fans are certainly confident and blowing up social media already.
  23. Uggh I hate all these key injuries tonight. Only silver lining is all of them should be back for next week's massive game that will may ultimately determine Bills division fate.
  24. This has been confirmed? If so this really concerns me about the Bills chances tonight given some of the other current injuries on the dline.
  25. He's the top QB in the NFL right now in every major statistical category. So unless JA17 puts up 400+ yards and 5+ TD's tonight Tua likely will remain in that spot at least until the week 3 games kickoff. It's amazing what adding talent to a developing young QB with potential will do for you, and Bills fans should understand this given Allen's career trajectory and breakout 3rd NFL season as well. Also lost in the conversation Mike McDaniel. This goofy bastard very well might be a football savant and on his way to coach of the year and much more this season.
