  1. Apparently there are still 24 3rd round picks unsigned compared to only 10 from all other rounds combined 🤔
  2. Correct. The World Health Organization does say that.
  3. Now that Sherman is off the table, Nelson is the best available CB. I'm surprised he hasn't been signed already unless there's a medical issue.
  4. Antonio Williams will have the most rushing yards Trubisky will be efficient against 2nd team defenses Tyrell Adams will lead the team in tackles Marquez Stevenson will have at least one return TD Forest Lamp will be solid and win a guard spot
  5. He just became my pick for comeback player of the year. O-lines will need to focus on TJ Watt across from him and Heyward on the interior, leaving Ingram with favorable 1-on-1 matchups. If he stays healthy I think he gets back to double digit sacks.
  6. It's good to have all our draft picks signed before training camp. Holdouts often hurt the player most of all when it comes to rookie contracts since the overall value is pretty much set by the wage scale. Missing training camp pretty much guarantees you won't be able to win a starting job. Offset language only comes into play if he's released (injury money is still guaranteed)
  7. From a message board perspective it's been: 1. Can we keep this roster together? 2. Yes we can. 3. Zach Ertz 4. Wow we drafted some tall dudes 5. Zach Ertz? 6. Cole Beasley: Anti-Vaxxer 7. New stadium in the works 8. I heard Zach Ertz just followed Mighty Taco on twitter, he must be coming to Buffalo 9. How fat did Star Lotulelei get in his year off? 10. Does Zach Ertz dunk his wings in blue cheese or ranch?
  8. He was great when he first came to the Titans, but he hasn't been able to stay healthy in years. Maybe for the vet minimum if Ertz is off the table
  9. I think a lot of head coaches are unfairly fired after one down year. Jim Caldwell got the Lions to a 9-7 record and a playoff appearance only to be fired and replaced with Matt Patricia, who went on to lead them to a 13-29-1 record. Continuity is more important in football than any other sport because of its complexity. Learning entirely new schemes every single offseason will not lead to sustained success.
  10. If Feliciano, Lamp, and Boettger are all backups, then who are our starting guards?
  11. I think we may have an easier schedule on paper compared to last season, but each of our division rivals improved in key areas over the offseason. If Tua makes progress and they're able to keep Xavien Howard, the Dolphins could challenge for the division. (They went 10-6 last year) The Jets got a potential star rookie qb, signed Corey Davis, and underrated star DE Carl Lawson. Most importantly, they got rid of Adam Gase. The Patriots got a rookie qb who is better suited to their offense than Cam. They filled out their receiving group with two athletic TE's and two experienced WR's. Their defense and running game will keep them in games (we only beat them in the 2nd game because of a well-timed fumble) I think the Texans, Jaguars, and Falcons are our only "easy" games, but it's too early to tell. Our passing offense is near its ceiling, and we will need improvement from our running game and defense in order to improve significantly. I see another 13 win season, but that's actually more impressive because the division got a lot tougher.
  12. I had good luck with Sling last season. The sports package usually goes on sale for about $30 a month closer to the start of the NFL season
  13. I was pretty high on N'Keal Harry during the draft, but if you can't get off jams at the LOS and you can't get separation, you will not be a successful NFL wide receiver, regardless of how good you are at jump balls. Hopefully a change of scenery will help his development.
  14. The draft is a crapshoot. Busts are even more common at the pass-rusher position and half the guys taken in the first two rounds will be completely ineffective at the NFL level. Rousseau and Basham both have the physical gifts to be successful, now it's all about work ethic. McDermott will make them earn every rep they get. After seeing how sparingly he played Epenesa last year, I wouldn't be shocked if they each get about 20% of the snaps in their rookie year. The only way that number gets significantly higher is if Hughes/Addison get injured or traded, or possibly if we use them as interior rushers on 3rd downs. If they get 10 sacks combined this season I would be very happy.
  15. I think Josh Allen will have a 100% decrease in receptions this season
  16. Yes, but the Bills were able to resign their players because they agreed to lower team-friendly deals. The Saints are intentionally inflating contracts that they will likely terminate or restructure after one season. The league needs to remove voidable years from contracts or we might as well just not have a salary cap at all.
  17. So the Saints started the offseason $25 Million over the cap. Drew Brees retires, then they signed their backup qb to a $140 Million contract. Then they sign their RT to a $90 Million extension worth 18mil/year (we resigned our RT Daryl Williams who is just as good for less than half the price per year) These moves somehow put them under the salary cap. It's so bizarre that teams are able to give out ridiculous contracts and actually end up freeing up cap space. It seems like they exploited some loopholes that should be fixed in the near future.
  18. Sounds like the Eagles front office got this guy to claim that a trade is close to entice another team to increase their offer. Most likely, Ertz will be cut and signed to a more cap-friendly contract.
  19. Hopefully Gilmore gets traded out of the division. Maybe the fins trade Xavien Howard as well. The Jets don't even have a cb good enough to consider holding out. Looks like Diggs might hit 2,000 yards this season.
  20. Bills fans also said the same thing about London Fletcher, then complained when he left and played great with Washington.
  21. They also need to do a better job of disguising their runs. The defenses always seemed to know it was coming and crashed the backfield. Adding a dynamic receiving TE would make it more possible to run and pass equally from a 2 TE set
  22. I think we have a lot of young players that have the potential to break out this season (excluding rookies): Gabriel Davis AJ Epenesa Tremaine Edmunds (still only 23) Devin Singletary Zach Moss Ed Oliver Dawson Knox Cody Ford Dane Jackson I hate declaring draft winners/losers the day after because some players take years to develop. If half of these guys progress significantly this season, we will have a great young core to build around for years to come.
  23. Our O-line got blown up on the interior all day. Chris Jones got penetration and Frank Clark won off the edge. Our rb's could barely even get out of the backfield. On defense, Hill and Kelce were uncoverable and burned us consistently. Mahomes wasn't 100% healthy, but our defensive line still rarely pressured him. While I like the idea of continuity, I really think we need to get at least one dominant interior offensive lineman in order to take our offense to the next level. The Chiefs got better by signing Thuney, Orlando Brown, Kyle Long, and drafting Creed Humphrey, while the Bills drafted a couple developmental tackles that probably won't see the field for a couple years. We have about 10 million in cap space and hopefully there is a top guard released over the summer.
  24. There are a couple things that would concern me if this is the final depth chart: We would have no veteran backups at OT: Bobby Hart isn't a world-beater, but he is a known quantity with experience who was actually decent last season on a bad overall O-line for the Bengals. Doyle and Brown are developmental prospects and throwing them out there as an injury sub could get Josh killed. Depth at CB: 4 outside corners, one is a late-round rookie, another is a 2nd year guy who had barely any playing time last year. We really need to add a veteran cb before training camp. These are two of the most important positions in the NFL and we're one injury away from potential disaster.
  25. Anyone stay at the Red Carpet Inn just so the bed bugs have something to eat during the off-season?
