  1. The Bills should only play The Goo Goo Dolls. Think you can't get pumped up to the Goo Goo Dolls? I once went to the gym and did squats at midnight while listening to Iris on repeat. I was also 22 and sad about some girl, but whatever. And the Bills are constantly getting rejected by the Super Bowl, so it's fitting.
  2. I think you have to go back 15 years or something to find an AFC Championship game that didn't involve the Patriots or Chiefs. I hate dynasties. Hate em. It's so boring. The only Dynasty I can get excited about is the Dynasty Buffet over on Franklin Blvd. You just never know what you're going to get over there!
  3. I guess I completely forgot Von Miller was on our roster 😂
  4. It's Bruce and no one else has ever come close. Some good to great players since then, but none of them were HOF worthy.
  5. Well, here we are. The Chiefs officially broke us.
  6. We gotta stop beating the Dolphins in the regular season so we can play them in the Divisional Round.
  7. Overspending for a "WR 2" in Free Agency seems to never work out for any team. I can't think of a single example
  8. I saw Bucky Brooks mock us a CB and Daniel Jeramiah mock us a DT and I got so mad I went outside and yelled at the flowers.
  9. Draft 7 WRs this year. Gotta hit on 2 of them, right?!
  10. And it struggled under Daboll, too. See Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Indy games in 2021 and Titans, Chiefs (both games), Jets game, and Ravens divisional round game in 2020.
  11. I thought maybe this team had a little 2007 or 2011 Giants in them. I wasn't confident that they would get there or win it but I did start to allow myself to believe that maybe it could happen. The story started to feel good. 6 wins in a row, finally a home game against KC, Allen's 3rd playoff matchup against Mahomes. Were we going to beat Baltimore? I don't know. If they beat KC, I could see that momentum vaulting them into an upset victory in Baltimore and then the Super Bowl. But... good stories are just that — stories. In the real world the rich get richer, they dynasties win, and the little guy loses in the end.
  12. I'd say he gives you exactly what you can expect out of an edge rusher drafted at the end of Round 1. The Bills need to be a lot worse to have a shot at drafting an actual game-wrecker on the edge.
  13. FWIW, it took the Eagles a long time to move on from Reid. And it didn't immediately work out for the Eagles, either. But yeah, at this point, the Bills expecting different results in the playoffs without making major changes is the definition of insanity.
  14. ok, 17 years to the day and Josh Allen wearing number 17 gave me chicken skin.
  15. I'm more of a look back in the rearview and think, "oh, yeah, that was destiny" type of a guy than a proclaim it in advance kind of a guy.
  16. He might be on to something here... that 9-0 lead in 2020 wasn't enough. If only it had been 10.
  17. "Weird Hawaii churchy type" is never a thing I would have thought. And then you said it and I'm like, yeah, that 100% is it. 😆 No, it’s not the camera angle. He’s fat and out of shape, no sugarcoating. He’s not even remotely fast, agile, or elusive to begin with…so you’re left with a fat statue in the pocket. Played out that way to end their season, not surprised. Someone on finheaven said Tua was fat, slow, and had short little legs. I fell out of my chair at "short little legs."
  18. Why do we have such a selective memory about Daboll? The reason that 2021 Divisional Round game against the Chiefs was so epic was because the Bills had to come from behind because the offense hit a lull in the middle of the game.
  19. It's funny - I always see opposing fans describe us as "insufferable" and "cocky," but we're always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Always. It's decades of history, as well as everything that happened just this season. I don't think anyone really knows what to expect w/ this team. If I'm being honest, I'm still slightly nervous about the Steelers game.
  20. What I like about the Pat McAfee show is that Pat (and AJ and the rest of the crew) genuinely love football and other football players. They don't tear guys down. They just root for everyone. It's a nice change from the scripted debates and arguments on every other show.
  21. The Texans have a little 2021 Bengals in them. An upset isn't impossible, but the Ravens have given zero reasons to doubt them at home.
  22. I remember another #24 that really struggled early in his career but ended up becoming pretty good starting cornerback for this team, and that's Terrence McGee.Now, obviously McGee wasn't a first round draft pick, but he's an example of a guy who I remember being an absolute liability in coverage turning into a good starter.
