I can see this going one of three ways tonight: 1. The refs want to overcorrect and a few monumental calls go in favor of the Bills. 2. The refs don't want to bring any more attention to this and keep the flags in their pocket. 3. The Chiefs turn this into extra motivation and we're screwed.

On the first defensive series against Detroit, Bernard, Milano, and Dorian Williams were on the field on 2nd down. The play was a run to Montgomery that went for little gain. I think they didn't again on the 2nd defensive series. After that, injuries started piling up and so I don't think they went back to it. I think there is some interest in having Bernard, Milano, and Williams in against certain looks. A lot less likely to get injured when you're the guy jumping on the pile at the end of the play.

I am most worried about the likely matchup against Baltimore in the Divisional Round. My only bit of optimism comes from the fact that the defense was without Bernard, Johnson, and Milano when they played in Week 5. Was Rapp out that game, too?

The Ravens are a badddddd matchup for this iteration of the Bills. Forget Lamar — Derrick Henry has been nearly as large of a thorn in the side of McDermott as January Mahomes. We really needed Pittsburgh to hold off Baltimore and get that 3 seed but Russell Wilson has turned from Danger-russ back into Denver-russ. KC is going to get a cakewalk matchup in the Divisional round and walk into the AFC Championship about as healthy as a team can get. We're looking at the 13th consecutive year that feature the Patriots or Chiefs in the AFC Championship. Dynasties are so f****** boring.
