  1. I love the idea of this team finishing the season with an entirely different WR corps than it started with. Beane's answer on that would have to be olympic gold level gymnastics.
  2. Fortunately for the Bills, the playoffs are still 14 months away. (Jk. They’ll probably make it this year. Probably)
  3. I really don't think they have any plans to cut Knox. They want 3 TEs. But I can see Knox taking a huge pay cut to stay here.
  4. Bills fans sitting here complaining that we never draft WRs in the first round. Brandon Beane telling us he's never in position to draft a WR as good as Tee Higgins. Les Snead over here grabbing Cooper Kupp in the 3rd round and Puka Nacua in the 5th round. Yikes.
  5. Yes yes. He is a definite fit for team culture.
  6. 2025. The season that kept on seasoning.
  7. Bills Squad is great. I really like Jerry Ostroski's point of view.
  8. Almost certainly referring to the centerfold in Playgirl magazine.
  9. Seems like the whole team is retreaded at this point. I am disappointed in myself at how much I laughed at this.
  10. Me. It's my fault. I got a stupid accounting degree and then pivoted to a career as an ecommerce growth marketer instead of taking an unpaid internship with an NFL team, working my way up through the ranks, and finally, after sacrificing all of my personal time, social life, and developing crippling anxiety and an alcohol problem, landed a seat at the Buffalo Bills decision-makers table where I would say: "it's been over 5 years with McDermott and Allen. This isn't working. History says this isn't going to happen. We've got to make a change before it's too late." To which I would have been told: "lol. you're fired, kid." And then I would be right back here, where I am now, in my stupid tinfoil hat, with my accounting degree hanging crookedly on the wall behind me, hammering my keyboard about 5 YEARS! YOU ONLY GET 5 YEARS!
  11. I read retread as a different word.
  12. I can’t take it any easier than I do. So all good there. I would hire Danny Devito before I hire mcbean again. I believe that team would always come up short.
  13. The crazy part about this is, if they followed more than a few posters on here as far as draft advice goes, we would be in a much better situation right now. I’m not saying that for myself, but quite a few posters. That’s really sad truthfully. So kudos to you guys. I mean, sure, we would have collectively avoided some of the misses, but we also would have collectively missed a whole lot, too.
  14. ????? I don’t understand this take. It’s a message board! We have differing opinions. Should be celebrated. Too many people like this. Accept mediocrity. Take it easy, Danny DeVito. It was a joke. I don't accept mediocrity.
  15. You don't have to be the GM to do that.
  16. IDK about you, but first thing I'm doing as GM is coming to TwoBillsDrive and getting very sound advice on personnel and player decisions.
  17. I like that we're mad about Rousseau not getting to the quarterback but glossing over that his running mates are a one-handed Joey Bosa, AJE, two wildly inconsistent rookie DTs, Jordan Phillips, Phi Mathis, and Javon Solomon. I would honestly not be surprised if this dline only recorded 10 more sacks for the rest of year.
  18. We saw it for 2 quarters against Carolina. And it looked like it had potential. Then Oliver went down. Then Hoecht the next week. And then the ship sank.
  19. I believe teams are running away from Rousseau because the interior DL is getting blown off the ball and Bosa has struggled all year to set the edge on runs. Rousseau has actually saved quite a few runs from being explosive plays because he crashed down on the backside and stopped it for a 1 or 2 yard gain when it likely would have gone for a house call. I don't know that Rousseau is ever going to be a double digit sack guy, but his run defense is very good.
  20. This is true this year. This is not true of most other years.
  21. James Cook had 75 yards rushing after his first 7 rushes. Then he only touched the ball 5, maybe 6 more times after that? Some of that was game script... where the Bills were on the field, down and distance, time on the clock, etc. But that's the reality of this offense this year. They are incredible dependent on favorable game script. You get them off script and they struggle mightily.
  22. Guys. We gotta be realistic here. Oliver, Our best defensive lineman is out for the year. Hoecht, the guy we gave a 3-year contract too to enable us to play a different style of defense is out for the year Bernard is about to miss time. And even though Shaq Thompson has been the better player, he's likely to pull his hamstring again in the next game or two. Practice squad level DTs are playing meaningful defensive snaps every game Bosa has one hand Our rookie 2nd round DT is playing snaps at DE because we're so thin there Jordan Poyer is starting at safety Taron Johnson appears to have hit the wall 2025 is not the year. But it doesn't mean the future is entirely shot. When you have a QB like Allen, you can rebuild quickly. I don't foresee Beane getting his walking papers this year, so the question is: can Beane get it right? He knows where he's f*$&#$ up. The attempt to trade for Waddle, at least tells you that he knows he got it wrong at WR.
  23. I find myself asking the question: if this year's Bills team is not good enough to win the Super Bowl, and that certainly seems to be the case based on the 11-game sample size, is there any actual benefit to making the playoffs? I can't imagine the players on this team are getting any kind of psychological boost or confidence for the future with every subsequent playoff exit.
  24. It's not fun anymore because we're not a team that's ascending. We don't have a new exciting quarterback. And while we have one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game, we just simply can't put a complete team around him because we get things wrong and even the things we get right get hurt. And we can look forward to next year but deep down, we all know we're going to get things wrong then, too, and the things we get right are going to get hurt, because we just keep doing the same thing.
  25. I don't think any change at OC is helping the offense this year. Like, maybe a Sean McVay offensive genius could squeeze some more out of the players we have, but you're not finding that person at this point in the year.
