  1. I've really liked what I've seen out of him this year. The Ravens offense will challenge our LBs more than any team so far. So, if he balls out this weekend, I'm ready to anoint him the future.
  2. Oh wait, this is just my inner monologue before every Bills game.
  3. "It's fine. It's fine. It's just football. It's fine. Whatever. It's just a stupid game. It doesn't even matter. It's fine."
  4. I don't even think this is Worthy of conversation anymore.
  5. In Sauce's Gardner's defense, it is nearly impossible to intercept a pass while simultaneously using both hands to hold onto the WR.
  6. I worked at Old Dominion University when Taylor Heinicke played there. He really helped that program gain some momentum while it was still in it's early years. His career has been really interesting to follow. He's kind of like a worse Ryan Fitzpatrick, but he plays with a ton of heart.
  7. FWIW, my wife consistently wears sweatshirts and long pants in the house, even when the air is set to 75 degrees or higher. If I put it lower, she puts on a winter jacket. She is literally cold all the time. I don't understand it. Maybe McDaniel is also just cold all the time? Low iron? I don't know. This thread is funny.
  8. As opposed to Daboll, who looked like the kind of guy to eat the entire tray of deviled eggs at a party before anyone else got to taste them. This is a good reply. Deviled eggs are so good, can you blame him? This is also a good reply.
  9. Honestly, I don't see Brady or Babich as poached eggs kind of guys. Brady looks like he prefers a classic scramble while Babich looks more like the raw egg in a glass type.
  10. Maybe the coaching staff should put their bodies in harm's way by trying to Do Their Job and make a tackle while Rapp is launching himself head-first into their knees and ankles I heard a rumor that after every game, the bills coaching staff stands in a triangle formation and Josh Allen rolls Taylor Rapp up into a bowling ball and hurtles him at the coaches. I've heard he's rolled a few spares, but never gotten a strike. I don't know. Probably just a rumor.
  11. My guess is more of the same. Ingram in for Dime packages. I think Bishop eventually replaces Hamlin. I think the coaching staff really like Rapp.
  12. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September. I will not get overly excited about the Bills in September...
  13. What I'm hearing here is that we need some kind of grading rubric? Or is that too much for a sports message board?
  14. I thought Tre actually looked pretty good early in the game... but yeah, then Jameson Williams happened.
  15. really disappointed in the lack of Goo Goo Dolls enthusiasm here
  16. Rip Mr Prine. Guess I'll go have a cocktail.. put the Christmas tree up too while you're at it
  17. in the defense of the viewing audience, you can't exactly dance to a 13/8 time signature
  18. We deserved a John Prine halftime show.
  19. Did anyone else just keep thinking Cam Lewis was Levi Wallace? I can't get it through my skull that #39 isn't Levi Wallace anymore.
  20. 100%. I like McDermott. I like Allen. I root for them to make history.
  21. I am so ready for 5 months of constantly reading way too much into injury reports and obsessively googling Buffalo Bills for any updates!!!
  22. I think, maybe, what OP means is that no (head coach + starting QB) combo has made their (first) super bowl (together) after 6 seasons (together). Andy Reid and McNabb were in year 6 together when they lost to New England. Tom Landry coached for a long time before finally making (and losing) the Super Bowl in Craig Morton's 2nd season as the starter. Then Landry made Roger Staubach the starting QB the following season and won the Super Bowl in Staubach's first year as starter. John Madden was in his 8th year coaching the Raiders when they won the Super Bowl, but that was Ken Stabler's 4th season as the starting QB. Lombardi and Starr? They won NFL Championships together before the Super Bowl existed. Bill Cowher? Made his first Super Bowl in his 4th season as coach. Lost with Neil O'Donnel. Finally won a Super Bowl in Big Ben's 2nd season. How about Bud Grant? He made his first Super Bowl in year 7 as the Vikings coach. But it was Fran Tarkington's 2nd year as starter. And this brings us back to Andy Reid and the Chiefs... Reid was in year 7 coaching the Chiefs when he won his first Super Bowl with Pat Mahommes in his 2nd year as the starter. Oh, and speaking of the Chiefs, here's a good one. Hank Stram was in his 10th year as Chiefs coach and Len Dawson was in his 8th year as starting QB when the Chiefs won Super Bowl IV. BUT... Stram and Dawson won an AFL Championship (the highest level they could achieve at the time) in Stram's 3rd year as coach and Dawson's first year as starter. Meaning, they had already cleared the hurdle of winning the big one together. Last year, I made a whole spreadsheet tracking the coach and starting QB for every Super Bowl winner and loser (because I'm a loser). It all checks out. I wanted to find a loophole. There isn't one. History is damning for the likelihood of McDermott and Allen making a Super Bowl together as the Bills HC and starting QB. I hope they're the first to do it.
  23. Everybody hates the Bills now. Let's just move on, guys. It's fine. We've survived worse.
  24. Guarantee you Mack Hollis ain’t scoring with that same hole I don't know... probably depends on if he's wearing shoes or not
  25. wtf does the leadership council do? Do they, like, vote on if Josh is being too nice or too mean in his leadership style? I'm going to need some clarity here.
