  1. I mean, I get it. He often has a lost stare this season... but he always had that when things weren't going well (he had that look against Houston in the 2019 Wild Card). And honestly, I think it's hard to get excited when you've turned the ball over 4 times against a bad team and it's taking everything you've got just to take the lead with 2 minutes left. He probably also knew the defense wasn't going to hold up. The team is officially whipped after these past few seasons. Nothing short of a massive overhaul to the staff and roster will help at this point.
  2. Sometimes I get on this board and I read a thread and I put a lot of thought into typing a reply. And then I think, "wtf am I doing here?" and I delete everything I typed and get back to my day. This was one of those moments.
  3. Texans have a defensive head coach so they have absolutely no shot. That's what Colin Cowherd would say, right?
  4. Dorsey knows that if he comes down to the sideline he's going to get pelted with at least one billdo, so he's staying behind the glass.
  5. I was 8 when this game was played and wasn't allowed to stay up to watch it. So my mom taped it and I watched it the next day. I think I ended up watching this tape on repeat for the next year or two. For whatever reason, Karl Mecklenburg is what I remember most from this game. I don't remember what he did or any he plays he made. I just remember the name Karl Mecklenburg.
  6. I moved away from my hometown as soon as I graduated high school. Haven't kept up with many people other than superficially on social media. If an old friend rolls through town, I'll grab a beer with them and catch up, but it doesn't go much beyond that. I recently found out that one of my best friends in high school lost both of his parents in the past year. I haven't talked to him in probably 15 years. I loved his parents back in the day so I reached out to him to let him know that. Never heard back but getting a response wasn't the intent of my message, so it is what is.
  7. I'd say they're the only team that's doing pretty much exactly what they always do.
  8. Having a lot of cap dollars tied up in older players is going to open the door a little wider for bad luck. I don't think this is necessarily Beane's fault. The Bills have consistently been picking at the end of Round 1, lowering the chance of hitting on immediate impact players at a lower cost, meaning you have to invest top dollar into veterans. Perhaps he could have been more savvy in trading away assets to acquire draft picks, allowing more mobility in the draft, but that has only become apparent this year. The Bengals and Dolphins aren't that far removed from some really terrible seasons where they were able to acquire young, top-flight round 1 talent.
  9. I unfortunately watched some of this game. Bad football all around. Bears remind me of drought Bills. Panthers somehow worse than drought Bills. Just bad bad football. Frank Reich looks like he's averaging two packs of Marlboro 100s per day. I feel bad for DJ Moore.
  10. It felt like he’s trying to be knox there. Doesn’t need to be. His catch % is way too high to convince me he's trying to be like Knox 😆
  11. No its not. The other defender made a hell of a play that is very low %. Kincaid did nothing wrong. I get that the defender made a hell of a play. I get that a defender punching the ball out is low %. I appreciate that. But you can't tell me that going airborne doesn't increase the risk of fumbling compared to a player who keeps both hands on the ball and is tackled routinely. I'm not saying don't jump ever, but at the moment in the game, it wasn't the smartest decision from a ball security standpoint. I'm with you. I'm stoked about the kid. Hopefully a strong learning moment for him.
  12. I currently like the hell out of him Ugh. Same. Wait... we talking about Kelce or McDermott?
  13. Yeah, and it did have a big impact on our game, potentially costing us it. We had the momentum and if we had scored, who knows how Cincy would have responded. In that moment, Dalton Kincaid was a brick and as Chongli will tell you, "brick no hit back."
  14. I change my mind about Travis Kelce about as frequently as this board changes its mind about Sean McDermott.
  15. I don't disagree. All I'm saying is that it was easier for the defender to make that play because Dalton was head-over-heels with one hand on the ball. I'm not saying stop trying to get the extra yards, but have a little more situational awareness to know when ball security is more important than a few extra yards.
  16. Now we just need him to stop trying to dive over every defender in his path. I appreciate the extra effort but getting himself upended like in the cinci game is going to result in more fumbles.
  17. It's far easier to find a good coach than find a good QB (although, neither are that easy to find). You move on from the coach before you move on from the QB. Let the new staff bring in a new system and revitalize the QB play. If that doesn't work — then, and only then, do you move on from the QB.
  18. Yeah, I've really enjoyed watching so many of these guys on this roster play over the past 5-6 years. It really is starting to feel like the end for this version of the Bills. This group of players have been so easy and fun to root for that it really is a drag that they didn't get it done (maybe a miracle happens this year?). Regardless, it's been fun and I'm grateful for that.
  19. I always got this vibe from Jim Harbaugh that he liked cocaine, like, really liked cocaine. And I just don't know if that's the kind of energy we need around Josh Allen. Is this a slanderous statement about Jim Harbaugh? I don't know. Maybe? But didn't he punch Jim Kelly once? And didn't he used to slap Alex Smith in the helmet a whole bunch before 49ers games? According to this board, Josh Allen has already had 53 concussions and he doesn't need Jim Harbaugh ringing his bell before Sunday Night Football.
  20. I'm not even sure I'd be confident that Poyer or Hyde would be able to give you a full season next year. I'm afraid Poyer's arm is going to fall off every time he makes a tackle, and Hyde seems like he could be one unlucky hit away from being done for good (and luck has not been on our side as of late).
  21. Looks like we can get rid of Harty and free up a little over 3 million. We might as well do that right now and put that money toward a good motivational speaker or something.
  22. That's probably the stupidest trend I've ever heard yeah, it's nuts.
