  1. Bills are doing that classic hustle thing where they pretend like they don't even know how to hold the pool cue and get themselves into a $10,000 game of pool only to start making trick shots left and right. That's what this is, right?
  2. I'm pretty sure that if you asked Phillip Rivers he would tell you that all of his kids were God's will. Now, whether or not God's will is problematic is another question.
  3. I don't like this red circle thing. Makes me think all of these updates are bad.
  4. At what point do we get a billboard made to let the decision makers know where we stand on this matter?
  5. So, Rex Ryan getting back on bandwagon or what?
  6. Can't spell Jet Ski without J-E-T-S. This was clearly a sabotage plot by gang green.
  7. It's almost like he completely forgot about the AFC East and then just stuck all 4 teams in there together, as a group—but not at the bottom because that would make it too obvious that he forgot.
  8. I took a crack at how the actual TE list should look, and unfortunately, I think this is very accurate. 1. Kelce . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2-10. Other guys that play TE
  9. Contract Extension is an odd way of spelling "hot seat."
  10. Which bozo, the one in the link or the OP? In the words of Sean McDermott: "yeah, I appreciate your question but I'm not going to get into that."
  11. This bozo clearly doesn’t know that we do things differently in the AFC East. In the AFC East, when a team is the division champ, they reign for at least 10 years. Those are the rules.
  12. The more I think about this whole situation, the more I've landed at the conclusion that the answer "very concerned" is vague enough for people to hear exactly what they wanted to hear. It's like when you're writing a novel or a song, and you include just enough detail to set the scene but then let the reader/listener fill in all the details with event from their own lives. Anyone who thinks — even subconsciously — that the Diggs that wanted out of Minnesota is who he will always be saw this as the "aha!" moment. It was a chance to fill in the details of what "very concerned" means with personal bias i.e., "I knew it was only a matter of time before Diggs would want out." But here's the thing — if McDermott had said, "no, I'm not concerned and I'm not going into detail," would that have really convinced anyone that there wasn't an issue? The conversation would still have been, "what's McDermott covering up?" Also, of course McDermott is concerned. His ass has been on the Two Bills Drive warm seat for two years now!
  13. The next — and very crucial — stage of Josh Allen's development will be learning that there is a right time and place for unleashing his thighs and there is a wrong time and place for unleashing his thighs.
  14. It’s going to be the first ever three-team Super Bowl. They’re not even inviting the NFC. Well, except the Lions, they might invite the Lions. Oh, they might invite the Giants too because Daboll the best head coach ever. What about Jalen Hurts? I’m glad you asked. The Eagles are going, too. It’s going to be the first ever 29-team Super Bowl. A battle royal. Everyone is invited except the Bills… and the Pats (finally)… and the Raiders. The Raiders can’t go. I’m a little drunk.
  15. Guys, the Jets and Dolphins have both already won the Super Bowl this year. There's no point in even playing the season.
  16. I mean, every single game is a "1-score" game for at least the first two drives. Most games have a point differential of 8 points or less until late in the game.
  17. I read this as "and he sat out rest of season."
  18. I have paid off my student loan debt faster than my hot dog debt. I mean, I don't know why we're not talking about hot dog debt cancelation in this country. It's out of control.
  19. Hey, at least it's not baseball where we're tracking things like batting average vs. right handed pitchers during day games in the month of July on grass fields when stadium capacity is above 50% and cloud coverage is below 50% and total hot dog sales have grossed $15,000...
  20. Oh, for sure. I'm not saying it can't be done, or that just because it's never happened before that it never will. I think it's an interesting philosophical question based on over 50 years of data. I think that when you have a coach and QB pairing that is building but hasn't gotten over the hump for 5 seasons, there becomes a very real mental hurdle to clear in additional to all the physical hurdles a team has to clear over the course of a season. Andy Reid is an interesting case study. Andy Reid and McNabb made a Super Bowl together in their 6th season together, losing to the Patriots. They never came close again after that. In Kansas City, Reid and Alex Smith were close for 5 years but couldn't get over the hump together. After those 5 seasons, the Mahomes/Reid era began, which was finally enough to get Reid his first ring. Again, I'm not saying there's a science to it. I just find that 5 year number to be fascinating.
  21. Listen guys, I like McDermott — a lot. I'm about as big of a McDermott apologist as there is. That being said, history suggests that McDermott and Allen will not win a Super Bowl together. Hell, history suggests that McDermott and Allen will not even get to a Super Bowl together... Allen and McDermott are going into year 6 as Head Coach and starting QB. No starting QB and Head Coach pairing have ever won their first Super Bowl after being together for 5 seasons. It's crazy, but true. History strongly indicates that 5 seasons is the maximum number of years a starting QB and Head Coach should be given to win a Super Bowl together. I hate to say this, but I do think that if the Bills don't win the Super Bowl this year, replacing McDermott would be justified.
