  1. The way I feel about the Chargers is how people are going to feel about the Bills if they don't win the Super Bowl this year: over it.
  2. Seems that I can Well... at least your username fits 🙃
  3. You can't ask us what our overreaction will be and then have 50% of the answer options be completely reasonable reactions.
  4. Must have been Mike Greenberg. The guy has the personality of an 11-year-old Jets fan.
  5. The Jets have the longest active playoff drought in sports. That makes them instantly easy to root for. Except for me. F those guys.
  6. He'll play and he'll score 3 TDs and we'll have to hear all about how tough he is.
  7. I live for the prime time games, because the illegal streams suckkkkkkk. (Also, there's nothing worse than trying to find a working stream and have to close out of 150 chaturbate popups will my family is in town).
  8. Honestly, I tried for over a decade to give them money for Sunday Ticket and they were always like, "no, sorry, it's not available in your area." So... illegal streams it was for me.
  9. Diggs is more than a C in my book. He's an A+ Has anyone actually ever heard Milano speak? Like, does he speak? I'm not saying one has to speak to be a captain, but speaking kind of seems like a part of the job.
  10. I have heard that strippers give better rates to team captains, so this is very big deal for Diggs.
  11. If you really are a long time Bills fan then you should know by now that you NEVER go into a season optimistic.
  12. Does this mean Diggs is no longer captain? Because that would go over well in the media...
  13. If it's that easy to open a window, why are we all freaking out about them closing?
  14. Talk about a window slamming shut.
  15. Coke Beasley could have been great if he would have just laid off the dang booger sugar.
  16. You're going to want to make sure you're seated and have a strong drink in hand when you get to the Bills / Steelers Preseason Week 2 Thread.
  17. When I played JV football, we had a coach that talked about "The Turk." But his "Turk" was that voice in your head that tells you to take it easy, loaf around, watch TV, and be lazy. Disappointed that this thread wasn't posted by you, coach.
  18. Could the story here be less about Elam and more about Benford being a gem of a pick? But I don't know anything so don't listen to me. Also, passing league. CB depth is good, right? Or would you rather have Jamarcus Ingram out there? (I know he had a nice little int today). Or worse, Cam Lewis?! No, no. Give me Elam as CB 3/4 and say, wow, that Benford kid keeps surprising!
  19. I think there's merit to this. Josh needs to protect himself from Josh. We've seen Josh play QB like Brady and Manning: reading the defense pre-snap, getting it to his hot reads quickly, and waiting for the perfect opportunities to take shots. He's done it. He has shown he's more than capable of doing it. But other times—for some reason—he just doesn't do it. Josh has to evolve. Has to. And he knows it. He's said as much. But, will he? That's TBD. And here's the thing—when Josh does read the defense and gets the ball out quickly the o-line starts looking better. It's give and take. Yes, the o-line needs to help Josh but Josh also needs to help the o-line.
  20. I agree this sounds like a decent approach in theory, but where were there cuts that could be made to accomplish this? The only think I can think of is maybe passing on re-signing Poyer? Unless you wanted to consider cutting a guy like Von already and taking a huge cap hit? I don't follow the dollars and cents side of the team, so I have no clue how that kind of approach would play out. Anyone up for presenting what a minor rebuild this past season might have looked like? 100% I have no idea how they could have accomplished that, which is why I'm not an NFL GM and give no illusion that I know the first thing about building a long-term competitive team.
  21. Life in the NFL comes at a team fast. For most of the summer, I felt really good about the offseason additions. Saturday was concerning. I think the Bills will still be good this year and be a playoff team. And if you're in the playoffs, you've got a shot. But, man, there's a part of me that feels like maybe the wiser move would have been to take an intentional step back this year to get younger and free up cap space for the next couple of years.
