If Rudolf is available at 21 I would certainly take him. I think he will probably be gone by then though. If Mayfield falls far enough that The Bills could move to get him without giving up both first rounders, that would be my preference.

PFF Grades for Every 2017 2nd Round Pick
FLFan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Your belief that the Bills should have kept Woods ignores the fact that over half the roster were free agents, with minimal cap space available. Woods was never going to get the going market rate from the Bills, regardless of whether he would have been better than Jones last year. Also ignore the likelihood that Woods wanted no part of staying in Buffalo which had failed for 4 years to put him in a position to achieve his potential. TT again? He would have been running away from that as fast as he could. -
NFL.com: Gregg Rosenthal's QB Index
FLFan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, if Bleecher Report said so, it must be true. I have been a big Tyrod fan, even recognizing his limitations, but I am done. What he does well is simply not worth what he is, and always will be, bad at. Time to move on. -
He obviously hurt his hand patting himself on the back.

That was great ,Yolo. Thanks. Needed the laugh.

I think the real question here is who determined that the outside zone blocking scheme was the right approach? This seems to me to be more of an offensive system decision (Dennison) vs an OL coach decision. To be a little contrary here, both Ducasse and Mills showed improvement over the course of the year. (And I am not suggesting we can't do better, just that perhaps their coaching was effective) can Castillo coach a primarily power run scheme? I have no idea but I suspect so.

Friendly reminder - Brandon Beane has yet to prove a thing
FLFan replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thank you, Captain Obvious. -
I apologize then for missing it.

Thank you. You were right to do this. The main thread has literally nothing of a serious analysis, just opinions based on superficial looks at his biography, and a few quotes. This had the potential to be lost in the muck and deserves its own thread in my opinion.

Fast-Forward to 2018, Case Keenum
FLFan replied to CountryCletus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Certainly Keenum deserves credit for winning the game, but he was lucky, all game long. He threw some nice passes. He also threw some prayers that were answered, a fair amount of lame ducks, and some passes that should have been intercepted that were not. I would not get carried away with this guy. This season strikes me as a high water mark for him. A return to norm is no doubt coming. That said, someone will likely over pay him, perhaps even Minnesota. The Bills need to keep their eyes on the prize and try to fill the long term future. Keenum is no more it than Tyrod and will probably cost the same or more next year. -
So, you hate it, but you don't know anything about him. Makes sense.

Why I Think the Smart Move is Pay to Get Cousins
FLFan replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Cousins makes it to FA some team will end up criminally overpaying him. I sincerely hope it is not the Bills. The Redskins have tried to resign him for the past couple of years, but Cousins has elected not to. While numbers have never come out, one could assume that the Skins were trying to get a deal that was reasonable, and allowed them some future flexibility. They are not totally sold on him. The fans of the Skins are ambivalent on Cousins. Many hate him. He can put up some gaudy numbers, but rarely in big situations. He will make some head scratching throws and decisions. He does not demonstrate leadership. He does not lift the play around him. He is an average to above average NFL QB. Perhaps better than Taylor, but not worth a franchise type deal. I would much rather the Bills look for a player to draft and develop than go all in on Cousins. Right now the situation in Washington is that the Skins have said they want to talk contract. Cousins has said he will not discuss contract until after FA begins. It seems like he would like to force their hand on another franchise tag. I doubt the Skins tag him again at $34m, and I doubt they want to pay what he thinks he is worth either. Should be interesting. -
Pegula Jet currently headed to Alabama
FLFan replied to BrooklynBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would think any private jet they do own would be owned by one business entity or another. It would be kind of silly financially for them to own it personally. -
Pittsburgh is making Buffalo's defense look very good by comparison. Todd Haley has no business coaching an offense. What a joke.

Always has been, and always will be.

We also have the right to call you a fraud and a spoiled child, which you are. Just crying for attention. You embarrass yourself with every post.

Other than that, he was pretty good.

Marcell Dareus: Going to Jaguars “changed my life”
FLFan replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does this mean he will not come out to camp this year 30 pounds overweight? Has he decided to actually read the playbook? Maybe he has good given up partying at strip clubs before games? Oh yeah, he did not do that. -
Breaking news. Rick Dennison
FLFan replied to Chadwick Bay Chad's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are the one that needs to go away. The only excuse I can think of for your behavior is that it must get awfully lonely in your mother's basement -
Breaking news. Rick Dennison
FLFan replied to Chadwick Bay Chad's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This will likely turn out to be BS like everything else he posts. If so, I say ban him -
Please, go away. I am not going to defend Dennison, but there was little that happened today that could not be fixed with better QB play and real NFL receivers.
