It is really unfortunate what happened to him. Hopefully he can recover eventually to be the same player he was capable of being before the injury. That said, I do not blame the Bills for moving on now rather than carry him for another year to find out.

I don't either. I suspect it is coming down to who Crossman wants for special teams. Don't be surprised to see Jones make it, in spite of the fact he is mostly useless on offense. Best gunner they have, and can also return kicks if Tate gets hurt.

This whole thread is foolishness. Taylor is the starter. Peterman is nothing more than a raw rookie who shows glimpses of promise. There is nothing in an 11/23, 89 yard performance that says NFL starter to me. He may get there but he is not there. There is no QB controversy going on with the Bills coaches I assure you. If Taylor is healthy he plays.

This was predictable from Marrone. Not saying Bortles was ever going to be good, but there was never a chance that Marrone was going to chalk this year up to trying to make him so. Take a young developing QB, add a washed up veteran, and then Marrone and Hacket, and what you get is a young QB with destroyed confidence and the washed up veteran starting to "not lose games" making Marrone look good for getting them to 7 or 8 wins. He has already demonstrated this philosophy as I recall.
