  1. On the plus side, I have more free time.
  2. He improved his 40 by .1 seconds
  3. Solid logic and facts will get you no where on this topic around here.
  4. I am wondering how you would tell if Brady had a concussion? He is obviously some sort of savant when it comes to football, but otherwise he is a bit of a dullard in the intellect department.
  5. I really like what they are doing here. A complete remodeling of the front office is what people have been calling for and what we are getting without a doubt. None of us know how they will ultimately perform but they seem to be building a highly skilled FO of younger blood. I like it all so far, including McD. Time will tell of course. I expect Overdorf will not be around too long, and that Pegs is allowing him a more graceful exit given his longevity and unique position over the years with the Wilson's. That said I expect Beane will take the lead on that front ultimately.
  6. Excellent starting take. Nothing I would disagree with at this point. Looking at the list at LB makes me a little bit nauseous though.
  7. A Yeezus sighting. Big news of the day.
  8. I was referring to the multiple misspellings in the post you were responding to, not your post. That's what I get for being sarcastic I guess.
  9. Has nothing to do with kool aid and everything to do with intelligent discussion and respect for other posters. These concepts may be beyond you but perhaps you will get them one day.
  10. Could not agree more. No one here knows the specifics about performance of any of these individuals. When organizations fail, it is the fault of management. Period. For people to jump to conclusions about average people who are doing their jobs, is sad. It seems to me the better approach would have been to allow the new GM to pick and choose who from the old staff were worth keeping and who did not fit going forward. Pay them in the interim. I do not like this part of today's move, although I do think Whaley has run his course here.
  11. Agree. This is an intriguing pick. Always a crapshoot this late in the draft, but he has a chance to develop into a really useful player.
  12. Sorry you feel that way. Does not make you right. Just saying.
  13. So we get to 10, and Lattimore and Howard (and also Mahones) are still there, yet we trade back, and a long way. I hav always given Leroi the benefit of the doubt, but I am calling BS on these predictions.
  14. Agree with this. Everyone wants the perfect QB but they are very few and far between. In the end it comes down to what you can assemble around the QB skills you have. In Taylor's case, clearly a better point defending defense is necessary. The Bills were just no good in that category the past two years. You also need to have an offense that leverages his skills. The running game is not enough. I am of the opinion that the design of the Bills passing offense the past two years did not help him. Let's see what we get this year. The Bills do have weapons and presumably will gain more in the draft.
  15. You are probably right on all points, but further, I really do not think Belicheat is all that concerned about the future. His future as coach is tied to Tom Brady. When Brady retires, so will he. Who will take over for Tommy is the least of his concerns.
  16. The Bills spent a 5th round pick on a RB last year. He was highly thought of before injury cost him his senior year. He had not played in over a year before joining the Bills last year and he found himself at the bottom of the depth chart behind MG and Rex's pet project. People are underestimating him because he did not show much in very limited time last year. Let's see what we have. There is no urgent need here. If Williams does not show enough during offseason work and training camp there will be options, potentially other discarded diamonds in the rough like MG available. In any case, despite his stats and the outpouring of fan angst, MG is replaceable.
  17. Stop pretending like the schedule release has anything at all to do with your conclusion.
  18. They have two fullbacks? They must really be incompetent.
  19. Point 1 - Marrone is an arrogant douche. Point 2 - there is approximately zero chance that Marrone and Hacket make Bortles a better QB.
  20. After the Cardinals were stolen from them by the Bidwell's move to Arizona. St Louis is a two time loser in the NFL greed game. I doubt they would be interested in a round 3.
  21. He seemed fine to me as well. Certainly seemed a little down given what happened. Can't catch a break. I think he is an intriguing prospect. Great tools, but has been erratic to me in the games I have seen him play. Big question is if he has the head for the game at the next level. I hope he gets his shot, but I think Buffalo is probably the worst place for him.
  22. That's what I heard as well, but it has been fun watching people over react. He did not say Lorenzo and Ramon were starters either. They are clearly not done with LB yet.
