  1. I agree - very different players but playing a very similar role, minus the special teams. Had Coleman continued to improve after his injury, Hollins role on the field would have been continually reduced. He took on more than his share because Coleman hit a wall. He is a more talented player than Hollins. He will be expected to start living up to his draft position this year. Who will pick up Hollins ST role is a more apt question. It’s a big challenge for the young man but it is now or never.
  2. Moore is not an X receiver. No way. Coleman plays. Exactly right. I loved that he put those two clowns in their place.
  3. Agree. The choice is not going to between those two. More like Shenault vs. Codrington. It is Moore vs the practice squad scrubs the Bills already have for spot 5. He is not likely to lose that but I guess we will see.
  4. They are very different players with different skill sets obviously. If Coleman gets up to speed, they will not miss Hollins in the least.
  5. Moore said previously that he and the Bills have been talking on and off for some time. The plan was to wait until after the draft. Personally, I prefer this option right now for a team chasing a championship. A known quantity with upside vs a developmental draft project in the 4th or 5th round.
  6. What is the over/under I wonder on how many threads you will start pounding the same tired point?
  7. He carries a $25m cap hit this year. Are they going to pay him with cookies? The Bills do not have the cap room or flexibility to afford this, even if they wanted to.
  8. Probably not as fast as Shenault and brings similar “accomplishment” at WR. Pass, adds nothing.
  9. Yeah, and that was never going to happen in this draft, just sayin.
  10. Can we please have a dedicated thread where everyone can post their displeasure and whine to their heart’s content about the Bills lack of commitment to the WR position and failure to adequately address it in this years draft? This would save the rest of us a substantial amount of time and aggrevation associated with reading this in every thread all day long. Thank you.
  11. So does the defense that gives up fewer.
  12. Browns gonna Browns. Welcome to the circus, Shadeur.
  13. He is literally two inches taller than Sanders. I would be willing to bet that Sanders can get up higher than Walker without breaking a sweat.
  14. Maybe. If Jones shows in camp that he has taken another step back then maybe they move on from him this year, but I doubt it. Walker is a developmental prospect. I would be shocked if he is ready to play a primary role this year. He needs a year of learning technique, the NFL game, and building his body the right way.
  15. At least 10 who can play.
  16. Meh. I was not on the big fat man train. I would have rather seen a speed WR here, or even a RB.
  17. That’s the way the Eagles do it, for what’s that worth.
  18. Despite the conviction of many fans, I do not think the Bills view the DT needs the same way. Interior pas rush is a problem they have been trying to address for years with limited success. Sure, if they were able to land a prospect early who could anchor and rush they might be all over that. As it is, Buffalo had the 29th rated 3rd down defense in the NFL last year. They need better pass rush, especially from the interior. I expect they are still in the market for 1T they can pair with Jones this year and potentially replace him with next year, but i think they have addressed the more pressing need with Sanders, who could end up playing a large percentage of snaps with Oliver.
  19. SI pushes dozens of these thing per day, for different teams, always clickbait.
  20. There is a pretty easy metric of draft effectiveness in my opinion. Did you win?
  21. I would absolutely love this pick. Another 5 years of mediocrity for the Steelers.
  22. What a joke ESPN has become.
  23. Revel WAS fast. We do not know what he will be coming off the ACL or how long it will be until he is able to be at his new best. That is too big a risk for me on a first round corner, especially coming off the Elam fiasco. I have no problem picking a corner in that spot, but not Revel.
  24. I just do not see what people like about Harris for the Bills. He is exactly the wrong skill set for what they need. He might be a Mack Hollins replacement in 3 years.
