12/8/24 Game 14 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Rams 2nd half game Thread
FLFan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is disappointing that the Bills apparently have no alternative tactics to deploy here. I mean, change something up for ***** sake, -
It's looking like both Kincaid and Coleman will be out again today...

You are not being “realistic”. You are being simplistic. Your analytical abilities leave a great deal to be desired. -
About the only people that think the Rams have a reasonable chance are some Bills fans. The Rams are really not a very good team.
-
Yes they do, and you have none on your side. You can deny being a troll all you want but no one believes you at this point. Go back to whatever bridge you crawled out from under.
-
He was going to get fired at the end of the season anyway. This does not matter much either way, but it is well deserved.
-
Good one, but you really should probably quit giving this troll air. Maybe he will go back to the pond scum over at Chief Heaven or whatever they call it.

Highly unlikely they would be battling for a playoff spot. They tried building around Saquon instead of taking a top QB prospect, and that did not work nor was it ever going to work. Simply trying a different mediocre QB on that team would have failed as well. Daquan is working on the Eagles because they have a top QB and one of the best WRs in the game. He is complementary. Building around a running back has been a failed strategy everywhere. Henry was failing in TN last year. McCaffrey could not carry a poor Carolina team, etc.
-
I would be perfectly happy if Lamar won another MVP and flamed out in the playoffs as usual, so long as the Bills do not.

Terrance Gray a candidate for Jets GM job?
FLFan replied to vtnatefootball11's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why would I keep my fingers crossed for a key piece of the Bills front office to go to their division rival for two 3rd round picks? I am sure he will eventually leave but it will not be a cause for celebration, especially if he goes to the Jets. -
That was great.

Milano has not played football in a year and a half. It is going to take some time to get him ready and in game shape, which argues for a build up type of approach. That is what I expect the Bills to do, inserting him initially on passing downs and gradually building his reps from there. If he is the same player, which is a big if until we see it, he will be taking the majority of snaps before the end of the season with Williams relegated to game plan specific formations and occasional rest reps for Milano. At least that is what I think they will do. Whether he can be ready for the SF game is an open question. If he is I expect he will play some, but it would not be surprising if he does not.

11/17/24 Game 11 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Chiefs post game Thread
FLFan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really hate that team, and their fans, and the nitwits who cover them locally. Kelce can do his sarcastic clap all he wants. He got his ass kinked yesterday and they certainly wanted to win that game, despite pretending otherwise. Now that their bubble has been burst on their undefeated season I would not be surprised if they lost a few more down the stretch. -
Cooper says he plans to play Sunday with a cast!
FLFan replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
You could be right of course that McDermott is just keeping his cards close, but it does not seem like that to me. The implication of his words seem like something very different, like he is trying to motivate him. It could all be nothing of course and maybe he will play and there is no issue with his desire or commitment to the team. We will see, but I think it is a warning sign. As far as his prospects in free agency, I could not care less. I only care about the Bills getting the expected value this year from the investment of a third round draft choice. To achieve that, he needs to be on the field. -
Cooper says he plans to play Sunday with a cast!
FLFan replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s how I took it. Further, it is highly unusual for McD to make a comment like that. He does not normally challenge a player publically so directly which makes me think he is unhappy with the desire being shown by the player. People can sugar coat it all they want but this is not a good development. We do not know the real situation of course and probably never will, but I would be shocked if McD pushed a player to play who the team doctors thought would be putting himself at further risk. (More than they all are at risk every play of course) I hope I am wrong and certainly could be. -

He is not making much of a case for being resigned with the Bills, or any other team really. -
This guy was washed last year and even worse this year.

Cover 1- Why And How Miami Gashed The Bills In The Run Game
FLFan replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Miami is not a typical 2-6 team as you well know. Without Tua, they were not competitive. With him, their offense is very good. At the same time, but for a fluke interception and two bogus holding calls that game is not that close. Yes, I am very satisfied with that win. On the rushing angst, they kept Miamis big playmakers from making big plays, which was the point. -
Bills signing Quinton Jefferson; Update..AND Jordan Phillips
FLFan replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Phillips is 60 pounds and several years away from being that player. He is a shell of what he was in his glory days with the Bills. He was a shell, albeit a fat one, in his last stint here. More of a guy who is just going to hopefully clog up a lane now. -
True enough. However, he was also guilty of headhunting in at least two plays I recall from the first game. I am not sure if a suspension is warranted, but that hit was cheap and in my view, given the history from the other game, not unintentional.

It has every relevance to this topic. Focus on the “ struggle” of the Bills run defense is missing the point. -
Cover 1- Why And How Miami Gashed The Bills In The Run Game
FLFan replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Meanwhile, the Bills averaged more yards per run than Miami did, yet we are not talking about how the Bills run game “gashed” the Dolphins. Bottom line: the Bills game plan worked and they won. The rest is noise.- 73 replies

Waddle injured then returned on the very next play

It did not look that serious. It looked like he was being a baby.
