  1. True or not, and I suspect there is more to it than Lynch will admit, the reason he left the Bills is that he was traded because he was being outperformed by a free agent from the USFL and he already had two strikes in the NFL personal conduct policy - the hit and run on Chippewa and being pulled over with an illegal firearm in the trunk in Oakland. I am sure he was not happy in Buffalo, but no one was particularly happy with him either.
  2. I imagine he will be running quite a bit - for his life - to very little effect in the end I suspect.
  3. Personally, I cannot remember ever not being interested in a Bills game.
  4. Don’t we have other more pressing priorities for an upgrade that would occupy a roster spot? I assume you would cut Shaq Lawson for Clark? At that end of the rotation, would the loss of Shaq’s edge setting ability really be worth the small potential upgrade in pass rush of Clark on his (at best) 20 snaps per game. I just don’t see the fit at this time. A CB could be an upgrade, or an outside LB given the depth chart at those positions, but DE is the strongest position group on the defense at this time, perhaps on the whole team.
  5. Finally, signs of intelligent life on this issue from a national media source.
  6. Clark would be 5th in the rotation at DE at best on this team. No thanks.
  7. If they allow the Giants to score 24 points I am going to be very concerned.
  8. Probably, but I think it is highly likely that Tyrod is not as quick and elusive as he once was. I doubt he has fixed his one read, half the field tendencies either. He will be running for his life much of the night I suspect. If you actually believe this you are truly delusional. Drugs are bad.
  9. Yes, but he was 3 years younger. He was slow to begin with and I can’t imagine he is any faster now. There is a reason they let him go. McD has a real puzzle to figure out here in terms of run support from that position vs pass coverage. Klein may be the best option, but let’s not kid ourselves - this is a big problem - especially with Jones gone as well. I will be interested to see how McD approaches this. At least they do not have a passing game to worry about against the Giants.
  10. Rogers is a delusional narcissist, so take that proclamation for what it is worth.
  11. I think you have the score basically right but in the wrong direction. No way the Jags score 27 on Buffalo. I see a close game going into the 4th and the Bills pull away. Jags D is more effective than their O at this point. The time change issue is BS. bills 27 Jags 16
  12. Thanks for posting. I thought this was an excellent analysis especially in explaining how Dorsey is scheming to give Josh open receivers and running lanes in the red zone. Very helpful.
  13. I realize it is not Madden, but thanks for pointing that out. I also realize competent OL are scarce. My point is that WR is the absolute least of their issues. Seems like an odd focus for the GM of an NFL team whose defense just got pummeled and whose QB just also took a beating. I might save my powder for a real need, is my point.
  14. You would have thought a DB who can actually cover or an OL would have been a bigger priority but it’s the Dolphins.
  15. The poster from the Miami board reminds me of several posters on this site in terms of style and lack of intelligence. Not saying he is one of ours, but just interesting to see their forum haunted by this type of troll as well.
  16. I think this game is perfectly predictable. The Bears are a bad team with a bad coach.
  17. I thought you were being sarcastic with your first post but now I see you have doubled down. Any actual suggestions, or do we need to take up a collection to get something besides a whine? He started there, as did Bernard. He is a young LB capable of playing the middle who is being coached up, per your suggestion.
  18. His name is Dorian Williams and they drafted him in the third round this year. Try to keep up. In the meantime, AJ Klein is a fine third string practice squad Lb.
  19. The players and background might not be similar but but the unwarranted hype certainly is. Smart money would bet I believe that this guy will come back to his level sooner rather than later.
  20. I remember the general discussion but did not remember the OP on that one. Perfect.
  21. That’s right. He announced before the opener that he would be taking paternity leave. I do not remember if he gave a timeframe.
