  1. Wow. She is right on top of things with her sources. He is attending the funeral of his Grandfather. Announced yesterday I think.
  2. Nice try but I am sure this forum will be filled with angst and venom during and after the game about the Bills horrible offense, lack of receivers, how terrible Joe Brady is, and our likely third place finish in the AFCE. The regular season can’t get here fast enough.
  3. If the Jets win more than 8 games I will be surprised. A 40 year old QB with eroded skills last he played, who has now been out for a year and coming off an Achilles injury. Ouch. Good luck to him with those tackles. They have a very good defense, but their offense will still struggle and their HC has proven himself to be a very ineffectual leader.
  4. You are right - that was a terrible pass. In the wrong place and a knuckleball. Of course you would still like to see it caught but it was far from a gimme. As for what we have and do not have, I think it is a bit hard to say and far to early when the starting QB has been on the field in two games for a handful of plays, and they are obviously running nothing deep down the field. Straight vanilla run oriented offense. Taking any conclusions from either of these games on Coleman or the Offense in general is simply not possible. It is going to be an interesting ride this year for sure.
  5. I think they are in for a rude awakening this year as they find out the difference between a last place and first place schedule.
  6. My apologies. My initial search yielded bad information. I will delete my post. Sorry to all.
  7. It is no doubt less than he expected as well. Why does everyone think he has been out there this long? The only explanation is that his demands exceeded his worth. What was the price in March, April when the Bills and other teams were constructing their rosters? His demands on term? At this point the Bills do not have near the cap room to have signed that contract.
  8. OK then. Enjoy your new Falcons fandom.
  9. Yeah. Sharp’s “analysis” was one of the dumbest I have ever seen.
  10. His replacement is already on the team, as well as depth. It may be unlikely they get Milano all pro level performance at that position, but I think it would have been unlikely they got that from Milano anyway. Tough break, but they could be OK. We will have to see.
  11. There is absolutely no reason to do that. There is no downside to simply putting him on IR with a potential return designation and then seeing what happens. Next year is next year, and yes, the Bills will need to make a decision then. No need to do it now.
  12. No respect from these youngins.
  13. Hollins is an absolute lock. They love him, and he is going to play a lot.
  14. You have to remember also that both these guys have been on the couch all year. No matter their workout regimen, they were not going to be in football shape. McD said he hoped they would be able to fully participate by next week physically and mentally, so their place on the depth chart and lack of reps is not surprising.
  15. I find this to be a great service and well worth the $100 much less $60. If you have the ability to stream in your TV, through Roku or Fire Stick or some other streaming enabler, you can load the NFL app and stream this content directly in your TV.
  16. I guess, if you discount the $400 million renovation in 2010 and the fact that the team wants a new modern stadium.
  17. This is not actually true. The program is for access to high security areas of stadiums for employees and others with access to those areas, not for fans attending the game. https://www.asisonline.org/security-management-magazine/latest-news/today-in-security/2024/august/nfl-stadiums-to-use-facial-recognition/
  18. There is actually no substitute for bringing your starters into the regular season unhurt. So, no.
  19. Beane said it would likely be next week before either new guy is up to speed enough to get on the field.
  20. Williams’ problem last year was over aggressiveness. He Is fast and wants to fly to the ball but put himself out of position too often and made mistakes in aggression thus they did not trust him. I am sure they are trying to coach this aspect with him and have said as much. It is no doubt difficult to balance this, but I agree they will likely succeed in helping him get it. They will likely need him at some point so I certainly hope so.
  21. Yes, but could have been worse.
  22. Worthy to me is a third round WR talent who vaulted to the first round because of a spectacular 40 time. That has rarely worked out. He will likely make some plays, but I certainly do not see him as a highly utilized or particularly productive WR in the long run. Gadget guy with terrible size.
  23. You could well be right. I hope so. I just fear. The news on Bishop might be bad.
