Bills add Miami Hurricanes DB coach Jahmile Addae to coach secondary
FLFan replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Losing Butler is unfortunate, but had to happen when he did not get the top job. McDermott has been grooming three different coaches for the DC role and chose Babich. The others are bound to be disappointed. I take his expressed butt hurt with a grain of salt considering, although I am sure Tyler Dunne will in touch very soon. -

In his case, the apple fell miles away from the tree. His father was very good at his job. -
Inside Jets dysfunction article in the Athletic

Really no surprises here but good confirmation: - Saleh is a terrible HC - Hackett does not belong in the NFL - Rogers was really running the organization and still is - Rogers is an arrogant d bag. The Jets will continue to be also rans whether Rogers comes back or not. The preseason hype last year for this deeply flawed team was unwarranted and will be again. -
Leslie Frazier interviewing for Dolphins DC
FLFan replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
He would be a better choice than Fangio, one of the most over rated coaches in the NFL. Sadly for Frazier, I suspect this is not a serious effort by Miami. One part competitive intelligence gathering, and one part satisfaction of rules. -
He is on a multi thread one note crusade.

Looks like Leonard Floyd won't give the Bills a discount to resign him.
FLFan replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Floyd was a great pick up by Beane and he was a key player for the D through 2/3 of the season or so. He had 1 sack in his last 6 games, none in the postseason. (So 1 in 8) That disappearance is concerning if looking at him for a bigger contract. -

Yes. What’s more, I think McD knew that was going to be a problem given the coaching and QB he was facing. Hence the strategy to limit Chiefs possessions. This was correct in my opinion. Did you really want to see KC have the ball 3 or 4 more times? Blowout City. I do not believe the Bills offense as constructed and down Davis as well ever had a chance to keep up with a scoring track meet with KC. Two weeks ago it might have been different with much more confidence in D. -

Hell of a way to make a point, calling someone stupid. How old are you? Ty Dunne has been fired by the Buffalo News, fired by Bleacher Report, and now peddles a third rate blog. He has no credentials with any NFL team or media organization. He is the definition of failed journalist. For what it is worth, I had no respect for him before his McDermott screed. Excellent reputation in “NFL Circles” ? Do tell. -
Spend 5 minutes over at Fin Heaven or whatever they call their fan message board and you will lose all inclination for pity and only loathing will remain.

Yes, I am quite sure the self made billionaire will take his advice in a Bills Coach from a failed journalist. Makes perfect sense. -

I would say more like custom made $5,000 suit, but your point is well made. -

The Fox broadcast just showed Mahomes walking into the stadium all decked out in his custom suit and all the trimmings. (Ugly suit too) -
Johnson clears protocol, Bernard not expected to play
FLFan replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
The fact that he had already progressed to the stage of a limited practice participant by Wednesday indicates that this was a minor concussion if one at all. Likely a very conservative diagnosis and I am not surprised he is back. -
I am the kind that generally stays away so as not to raise my stress level to heart attack/stroke alert status.

Jackson gets erratic when he is pressured. That has not changed in his game.

Always better to be at home.
-
If Houston continues to play man coverage without a spy on Lamar, Jackson will have 200:yards rushing.

Kansas City at Buffalo in the Divisional Round!
FLFan replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree. The Bills should actually spank this team pretty well, if they hold mistakes to a minimum. As long as they do not beat themselves, KC cannot win this game. -
https://www.nfl.com/playerhealthandsafety/resources/fact-sheets/nfl-return-to-participation-protocol No mention of a 36 hour on the NFL web site. I have neve heard of that before, other than a posting in another thread.

Do you have a reference for that 36 hour rule? I have not heard that before. There is no mention of that in this NFL resource. Thanks. https://www.nfl.com/playerhealthandsafety/resources/fact-sheets/nfl-return-to-participation-protocol

Irvin is a nit wit so I would not put too much stock in his opinions, whatever they might be.
