  1. Exactly. Consider the source.
  2. He had a great start (legendary even) but tailed off badly. Then injured the next year. Rather have McCoy.
  3. I am good with this. He is not nearly worth it. Probably means the Zach Brown interest is over for the Fish.
  4. He sucks, but he is an upgrade from Geno Smith. I would not call him an upgrade to Fitz. The jests are all in on the tank.
  5. Nothing wrong with competition, plus some will be lost to injuries before the season. May the best man win.
  6. I am definitely starting to think the Bills are not looking for a WR early in draft, and certainly not round 1.
  7. 1. Because he is click baiting.2. Because in general, that bit of courtesy and accepted practice seems to have gone out the window here over the last several weeks.
  8. He seems to have a very unrealistic idea about his worth. Burning bridges as he goes with his attitude via twitter. Maybe the Bills want him back at this point and maybe they don't. I doubt his "pride" will let him come back for their initial low ball at this point either. He already made his outta here post on twitter regarding the Bills. He might not be worth the trouble.
  9. The same could be said of him on this board. Always a welcome poster.
  10. That's too bad. Would have been an interesting weapon to have.
  11. Who is playing QB for the Texans again?
  12. Yeah, we were thin and are now thinner. That said, hard to argue his production was at the level he was being paid. He was a great nickel corner I thought when he first came here. The transition to safety under RYAN did not go well, although nothing really did. The secondary was poor last year, for a variety of reasons so some rebuilding was in order. Bill in NYC's head is going explode when we spend two of our first three picks on DBs but it seems that is where we are heading.
  13. Hard not to love. It is easy to see why McDermott wanted him here. Character, leadership, plays hard, works hard, infectious personality. These are the types you need to build a team. I am not concerned how many times a game they might use him on offense. Good signing.
  14. I would be fine with that. The Bills got five good years out of Gilmore at relatively low prices. Chances are, he does not have 5 more years of top performance in him. Just the way it is. If the Bills could select another strong starting corner in round 1 I would be all for it. I know many disagree with that philosophy, but to me it is much better to get young corners who can play and devote bigger contracts to other positions. It is the teams who have been unable to do that who are paying the outrageous contracts to these guys because they have failed to find good options in the draft and it is a critical position.
  15. This makes me physically ill. I would have been OK if he signed anywhere else.
  16. Seriously. It's getting to the point that it is impossible to get past the clutter.
  17. Sure there was. A million dollars.
  18. You may well be right. The Skins are in a very similar dilemma to the Bills right now actually. If they see a QB worth taking at the top of the draft, I would not be surprised to see Cousins to SF as has been speculated with the Skins trying on another QB for the franchise label. Problem for them this year is that their two top WRs are free agents. They have a good starting TE but little depth behind him. Some offensive rebuilding is in the cards. Another reason to dump Cousins if they can get something for him.
  19. Paying Gillislee starter money would be a really bad deal. He has proven very valuable as a change of pace back in the Bills running game the last two years. He has not shown well when asked to start. Two completely different things. They obviously value him enough to try and negotiate a long term deal, but with so many other needs at a variety of positions, overpaying for your backup running back would be foolish. If some team wants to knock his socks off with a starter value contract, so be it. That would hardly be the end of the world. I would much rather take that extra money toward a starting linebacker or safety or right tackle.
  20. Cousins has consistently said he is content in playing for the franchise tag and has no real interest in a long term deal. This is just about money, not really about wanting to be with the Skins or not. With two years of franchise tag he will have made $44m guaranteed, and still will have the option of signing long term next year, assuming he does not blow up his career or suffer a major injury. He is taking some chance here, but also getting paid a ton, well above his real value IMO. He would give the Skins a shot at signing him next year when he will be after the long term deal, but he will ultimately be a free agent. From the Skins perspective, they have their doubts if he is the long term answer and probably do not really want to pay him $24m this year with so many holes to fill, and no guarantee beyond this year. For what it is worth, many Washington fans, and some in the organization, are not sold on Cousins. He has his moments, but he is certainly not elite.
  21. Interpretation: I am really hoping one of these guys fall to me at 27.
  22. Actually, I think they can do much better. Robey simply does not have the size to be effective in coverage. Time to move on. The legend was much greater than the production.
  23. Yeah. Wake me up when there is a new point made.
