  1. Not counting the throw out of bounds, there were two other long passes to Foster on which he showed poor effort and poor skills. The first you mention in your post and it certainly seems to me he lost stride looking back for the ball. No excuse not to at least make an effort on the ball either. The second was on an Allen scramble where he actually stopped running then looked back and saw that the ball was coming to him. That would have likely been right in his hands.
  2. Did I miss the part where Coleman said any such thing? Shut his mouth about what? He was traded on Sunday night and Monday morning he drove to Rochester for his physical. This is just some BS that Shefter picked up from an agent no doubt. Coleman was on WGR today talking about how excited he is to be here.
  3. Well said and the key to successful personnel management in any field.
  4. Agree with you here. Unless they conclude that putting Allen in endangers his development more than hastening it, there is not much to be gained by playing AJ. I do not want to see Peterman in the starting role though. This makes no sense at all to me over Allen.
  5. Yes, I think McCarron has the potential to be a younger version of Kyle Orton. Not exactly anything to get too excited about.
  6. Sorry - was being sarcastic and not directed at you. Those are among the top euphemisms used by the "hard bitten realists" around here to denigrate fans who choose a positive take on the fortunes of the team. I was supporting your comment.
  7. You must only be looking at the unicorns and rainbows through your rose colored fan boy glasses. ?
  8. I had high hopes for him as well, but it does not seem he has been able to make much of an impact and is mired at the back of the line. I do not have any eye witness report, just going by the daily reviews of where he is on the depth chart.
  9. Its a bit early yet, but I see we have rolled out the "fanboys" argument. Normally do not see this until we are bit further down the road. Well done. Always best to be first with the passive aggressive insults to people that do not agree with you.
  10. Sounds like they turned up the defensive heat today and it does not look any of the QBs handled it particularly well.
  11. I hope Russ saved some money because it looks like it will a long road back to the world.
  12. Did not remember that. Thanks. That connection would certainly explain his vitriol against the previous regime.
  13. Pretty balanced take by LaConfora, although I think the Center position is less of a tire fire than he indicates. I think there has been a huge difference in LaConfora's reporting on the Bills under the new regime. It makes me think he had some big issue with Whaley in particular, and perhaps Rex as well. Whatever it is, his attitude toward the Bills is reborn.
  14. Not a high bar for the Colts to improve. Similar for the Texans if they avoid the major injuries this year. Saying Jacksonville will improve is a stretch. Regression is far more likely. Well, I guess that is settled then. Going to cancel my Sunday Ticket and book 1:00 tee times all winter. Thanks for letting us know.
  15. Looks like strictly a DE. It is Lawson that should be worried.
  16. Yes, it was the time to move on. A blind man could have seen how totally ineffective he was. Stop his runs, make him pass, win the game is the totally effective and often repeated anti-Tyrod game plan. He was totally outplayed by Blake Bortles in that game. Blake Bortles. Time to try and be better, even if it is a temporary step back, which I am not yet convinced it is.
  17. The national media generally loves the narrative that Tyrod is a good starting QB hampered by a poor Bills team, who otherwise would have tremendous success. (in fact some people around here still support that narrative) That narrative is about to come crashing down. Browns fans will be yelling to start Mayfield before week 8. he is looking good in shorts though I am sure.
  18. The Bills will beat Baltimore, 3-2.
  19. Exactly. Highly unlikely. My money is on she set it up and will be filing a civil suit in due time for a nice big settlement.
  20. I hate to be cynical, but in the end this is about money. I am not sure what is harder to believe - that McCoy set up this robbery and beating over some jewelry and squatting in his house (which was already being dealt with in the courts) or that she set it up in hopes of a big payday. Strangely I could see either scenario as possible, despite the fact that the perpetrator in either case is exceedingly stupid. Perhaps the most likely scenario is that someone in their circle of acquaintences who knew about the expensive jewelry, and that could potentially be hundreds of people, decided to go take it. The accusations against McCoy are just that, with no evidence at all that we know of at this point. None the less, he has seemingly already been convicted in the minds of many. Even if innocent, he is likely screwed anyway, unless the Barney Fifes down there actually solve the crime.
  21. Calling Gronk a dumb jock is an insult to dumb jocks. He is, and always has been, an !@#$.
  22. You are probably right, but McD had plenty of time before the trade to size up Darby's intelligence and character and could well have found him lacking in both. Had that not been he case, perhaps they could have taught him to play the scheme they wanted, no?
