  1. What, you don't "admire the Kraft/Brady relationship"? That was my favorite of the week.
  2. TJ would be great to have but if the Bills leave Round 1 without having addressed OL or DL I am going to be pissed. My preference is OL. They may be able to plug a couple of immediate holes in the short term in FA, but they need to start committing some high end draft capital to the OL. It is the only way to build. They certainly have a need for a TE, but a first round TE is a luxury at the this stage of their development.
  3. Great move with Dorsey and a big step up from Cully in that role I think. As for Hall, he has been here, is a former player at the position, and has learned from different coaches in his time with the Bills. Those are positives. Like everyone else here, I know nothing beyond that. It is still hard to believe that it is shocking to some that executives hire people they are familiar with and trust, or that people want to work for people they are familiar with and trust.
  4. That kid is not an NFL QB. He is a self entitled little douche. I hope Miami drafts him.
  5. Yes, he got benched for one play for being late for the team bus. Hardly makes him a locker room cancer. Foster credited Shady for helping him get his head on straight after he was cut and then signed to the practuce squad. That is a much better measure of his locker room value IMO.
  6. According to the article, the Jets coach joined in 2016 taking over the 31st ranked ST unit. It was his first job as the head ST coach having been an assistant since beginning a coaching career after a 10 year NFL career as a standout ST player. (Sound familiar?). They were 30th his first year, 20th in 2017, and 1st last year. Perhaps our guy, with the same pedigree, can manage to make more than a jump from 31 to 30 his first year. Having a healthy punter and Haushka hopefully fully recovered from his cheap shot injury should help with that.
  7. Not to be seen as trying to throw shade on the next big thing, Patrick Mahomes, but I saw plenty of throws from him these last two weeks that were way off target. It happens. Most of Allen's completion percentage issue was due to drops, miscommunications, throw always, and simple rookie mistakes. Very few way off target as you claim. Some - sure. Room for improvement - sure. But accuracy issues with Allen are way overblown.
  8. Well, he was called out by the coach publically, had his snaps dramatically reduced, and was cut. Seems like a pretty strong message to me. ?
  9. Steal of a deal. The Bills should be grooming a replacement, but Lorenzo is crucial for next year in terms of leadership, and can obviously still play. They will be looking for a replacement to groom in this year's draft I believe.
  10. Well, for many here, he would need to wake up one morning and actually be Patrick Mahomes.
  11. Kent Hull, without question. Second choice, Will Wolford. Hull was not only the best center ever for the Bills, but one of the best ever in the NFL. He was the key to their offense, and any player from that era would say the same. Great O lines start with the center. Great offense start with OL.
  12. These lists are meaningless. When it comes to QB's, I am very happy we do not have Jackson. Time will tell on Darnold. Mayfield looks good. Rosen - meh.
  13. You are certainly not alone in this. It drove me crazy as well.
  14. Peyton Manning forgot more about playing QB than Gase ever knew. Gase had nothing to do with it.
  15. To denote that the fact that *Pats record should come with an asterisk.
  16. I do not care what team he came from as long as he can teach these young guys how to play special teams, and build some pride in the unit. Seems like a good spot for a young, enthusiastic coach with a solid ST performance record of his own.
  17. Sorry, but I just can't help doing the happy dance over the Jets hiring Gase. I never understood the fascination with this guy. I see no way he gets better in the NY pressure cooker. I look for modest improvement by the Jets this year, followed by an inevitable crash.
  18. Anything less than playoffs next year would be severely disappointing. It could certainly happen - key injuries can change the fortunes of any team - but there better be a damn good excuse for this team not improving by 3/4 games next year at least. I am bought into the plan, and was certainly willing to be patient with what was shaping up from the beginning to be a down year this year, but I want to see a step up. The potential is certainly there if McBeane nail this off season in their respective roles. I doubt this is different from most fans perspective.
  19. 4th actually. They throw the ball more to their running backs than they do to Sammy.
  20. You can smell the tires burning in Miami from here .....
  21. Beane said in his end of year presser that they like Shaq's approach to the game this year, his commitment, and his resultant play. He clearly had a turnaround this year. Beane also said they were going to wait and see how his offseason progressed. I suppose he wants to make sure that Shaq can maintain that commitment until making a decision on his future with the Bills, which makes sense. It seems up to Shaq, but I do expect the Bills want to keep him at this point.
  22. In return for the 3 players they have instead? I think that is hardly obvious. I would not.
  23. Watching Williams and Gase together in NY would be worth the price of admission. He will improve their defense, but the dysfunction inherent in this marriage would be fun to watch.
  24. You are a valued contributor so keep 'em coming. Congrats.
  25. Can't argue with his talent evaluation skills though.
