This whole argument of Flacco vs. Barkley seems to me to be about which mediocre option would be best. Neither is the right answer. Beyond that I really do not care which one. This really comes down to if Allen gets hurt, would I rather be kicked in the crotch or hit in the head with a brick. Both would hurt, both could kill you, and beyond that, it just depends. For my money right now, at least Barkley knows the system and is comfortable with his role with Josh. I fall on the side of known quantity. Flacco may have once been a better QB, but that is certainly highly questionable now.

It was a good thought and would have been a radical step for the NFL. I am not surprised it is tabled, but if the approved changes do not work to correct the joke the current policy has become, you can certainly expect that proposal or something like it even more aggressive will be brought up again.

Brady is an alpha male? I always saw him as more of a bitchy queen type.

I watched the E60 special on Alex today. It is first amazing that he is alive and kept his leg. It is a testament to his will and toughness that he has been able to come back this far. That said, he would be insane to attempt a comeback, and it would be criminally negligent for the Redskins or any NFL team to allow him to play.

Perhaps MNF will actually be watchable again. Not the case with those two turds.

The college eligibility requirements are one of the few things the NFL has gotten right. They should not debase themselves to the level of the NBA.

Our depth at safety is suspect. Not terrible, but room for improvement.

Or Adam Gase and the Jets are just that bad. The Bills won because thy were the better team. No fluke.

The Bills would be favored at home.

Here are two reasons why the Jets will be only occasionally competitive this year.1. Adams Gase. 2. Sam Darnold. Their generally inept front office would certainly be third place.
