The hole on the Bills roster that could ruin the season
FLFan replied to JetsFan20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Will you just go away and haunt someone else already? -
Apparently no one has seen him play for the last several years. You are all afraid of the ghost of Cam Newton.

Rank the AFC East coaches since BB came to New England
FLFan replied to JetsFan20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would take the Bills current head coach above Ryan without question, for one. Playoff wins is your criteria? Stop living in the past of questionable glory. I know this about Rex: He destroyed the Bills in his time here. He is in the bottom 5 of coaches here easily all time and we have had some bad ones. I repeat: Only a Jets fan would take him seriously. Just because he is the best of a horrible lot your team has had, including the incompetent fool currently coaching the Jets, does not make him good. -

Only a delusional Jets fan would put Wrex at the top of that list. -
While I am no particular fan of Mehta, or of Adams, the assertions in this article are totally believable. The same thing happened with Gase in Miami. He is the antithesis of a leader, and this was bound to happen. The Jets are mediocre at best, or outright losers as long as he is the HC, no matter how much supposed talent they may acquire. (And they do not have a surplus of that either).

Mannish Mehta blames Gase. https://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/ny-adam-gase-jamal-adams-20200624-4vb2kyiqtndqrlnb36jt5brt4a-story.html

Yes, Gase is the gift that keeps on giving.

Well, as long as Adams is doing his me first I want a trade schtick, you better believe I would rather have Hyde.

Too-early prediction - Last Place in AFC East ???
FLFan replied to CSBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This article is so ridiculously shallow it is not worth discussing seriously. It could have been written by a 12 year old Jets fan. Flacco will not even be ready to play by season start. He is beyond his last legs. He may have once been better than Barkley, but is no more. -
Critical thinking is difficult when your brain is frozen 6 months out of the year. Give the poor schmuck a break - not his fault.

I so want this kid to succeed. His attitude is infectious and he has all the intangibles.

I did not see that or I probably would not have been so polite. -

“One of the best arm talents in NCAA history”. I think that might be just a bit overstated. I mean, wow. -

I would not write off this opinion just yet. Despite all the Tua love, the fact is he has not played in a long time, certainly not played against NFL level competition, and is largely a projection rather than a fact based reality. He could very well suck, and it would not be surprising. -
Welcome to the board.

Goodell Admits NFL Was Wrong Not to Listen
FLFan replied to K-9's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s about time. The statement he released previously was beyond weak and totally hypocritical. Let’s see if the NFL actually holds firm when it becomes an issue this Fall. I have made doubts. -
Leslie Frazier press conference 6/4
FLFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would not care if football was the last item on the agenda in team meetings this week, and iy sounds like it may be. There is a great deal of emotion and legitimate concerns amongst the players at the moment. It would be smart for coaches to address that as a first priority for the team to help ensure that team unity remains intact. -
This is tortured logic at best. Intent or perspective is irrelevant? They are entirely relevant and the absolutes you claim simply do not exist. Kneeling for the anthem is only disrespectful to service members for those believe that to be true. I have spoken to many current and former service members who would vehemently disagree with your interpretation and tell you that that is what they fought for. Many from all walks of life and all races would disagree with you. It is not an absolute. Legitimate non-violent protest of social injustice is in fact the whole ball of wax when it comes to freedom in America. This point continues to elude many people.
