Lets beat the snot out of this team. Go Bills!
-
Home opener! Wish I was there but pumped none the less. Let’s go boys!
-
These are a couple of bad teams. Wow. Another scintillating Thursday night game.
-
This is only a “trap game” in the minds of fans. I guarantee you that McD is not allowing that thinking to take root on the team. They may get beat but it will not be because they took the Bengals lightly or were unprepared.

Don’t feed the trolls.
-
Low bar indeed, but I agree.

Ah, yes. Rotation of OL from the practice squad to the active roster. Sounds familiar in a depressing way. Here is to hope we are well past that now.

9/15 Bills at Giants Postgame Thread
FLFan replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If your standard is perfection perhaps you should readjust your expectations. No team is perfect. It is about winning, and the outcome of this game was never is doubt after the first quarter. Room for improvement? Sure. Believe it or not, every team can say the same thing. -
Michael Robinson on GMFB bold prediction (Bills)
FLFan replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree - it is a reach. However, there is no telling what is going to happen with any of these teams by teams end of the year. There are always surprises. -
I believe it is 6 weeks to practice with the team, 8 weeks to play. Same argument is any case.
-
No.

I think Neal starts there as that was the position he was playing all though camp, but Johnson will be next up if Neal struggles again. I think the Giants are better suited to Neal’s strengths. He clearly could not cover Crowder, but the Giants lack that kind of player. In coverage it will be primarily Engram for him. The big issue will be tackling and that he is good at.
-
Why? It seems like he is likely to be back next week or the week after latest, as opposed to missing 8 weeks.
-
I believe this has always been the case under McD. It’s a business trip, dress accordingly, is the thought process.

Josh Allen's "awful" 1st half...THIS is the article to read
FLFan replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely. -
There were a number of plays that appeared to be called runs that Allen checked out of because of what the defense presented. In general I agree there should be some mix, but I am not in favor of running into the line just to say we did if the defense appears stacked against it. Allen did take a couple of shots in the first half and I suspect more were called that he did not throw either because they were not there or he did not have time. In general I agree that the net result was a lack of variability, but that is circumstance as much as anything. I absolutely agree with a game plan to attack the Jets aggressively through the air. That is their vulnerability.

Cody Ford was bad - again & again he was while at RT
FLFan replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stop with the rationality. We must overreact and predict his failure based on one game. -
The game plan was exactly right in my opinion. The vulnerability of the Jets is at LB and secondary. Their strength is DL. They set up to stop the run and spy Allen. “Make him be a QB” was their mantra. They way to beat this is to throw. It was working, but a combination of bad luck and poor execution by Allen on a couple of plays destroyed the effectiveness. A bigger dose of running in the first half was not the answer.

A Few Thoughts About the Jets Game, in no particular order
FLFan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are right. You are suffering from BBFS big time. Get some medication. i thought the game plan was exactly right. The turnovers killed the effectiveness, but it was working. Passing was the way to beat this team. They were daring them to do it and announced it ahead of time. Lack of execution prevented this from being a blow out by halftime, but the game plan was working. The Jets were on their heels. As for the Defense, that was a dominating performance. No negatives. The comeback was awesome. It was not lucky in the least. They simply cleaned up the execution. The better team won. The Jets coaching was a joke all day. -
Bills (1-0) at Jets (0-1) Postgame thread
FLFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Adam Gase is a bad coach. The so called “brilliant offensive mind” was made to look every bit the clueless dufus that he is today. Greg Williams’ “make him be a QB” strategy backfired in a big way. The Jets suck.
