  1. Well, I think we now know that it was not about Covid concerns and more likely about getting a year off and extending his contract another year into the future.
  2. I think he was on track to be odd man out, but with Phillips injury, they are going to need him now, unfortunately.
  3. Dion was vaccinated but got sick during the waiting period after the shot where you are still vulnerable. Big difference. He was trying to do the right thing. It isn’t not clear anyone else on the team was exposed because this happened prior to training camp. Beasley is very different. By the way, dumb is spelled with a b.
  4. The over/under on Urban bailing is 1.
  5. Tough break. I am so sad. Do you mean future hall of famer, guaranteed all pro, just as good as Tom Brady, Mac Jones?
  6. He is entitled to his opinion. I hope the Ravens do pay him more money than Josh. Then they will be stuck with him.
  7. Only a matter of time .....
  8. Did not say he did, just that he was the only potential challenger other than Stevenson, but with both now apparently hurt, his spot is likely safe.
  9. Great job GB. You were bound to get some flack for daring to criticize Kumerow, but I felt the same way. The sideline catch was really good, but the drops were bad. He does not seem to get much separation. Unfortunately, the injury to Stevenson could resolve the question. With Hodgins also out, I don’t see anyone else who can challenge Kumerow’s spot at WR 6.
  10. Fields was fun to watch and certainly more dynamic than Dalton, but he has a long way to go. His game yesterday was very Tyrod like. Anointing him the savior of the Bears is very premature in my opinion.
  11. https://www.nationalnewswatch.com/2021/08/04/erie-county-exec-tamps-down-fears-of-bills-relocating/#.YSD2ZcopChA John Wawrow article at above link. Tim Graham has had some good coverage in the Athletic as well.
  12. I agree with GB - 14/3 - but I would say that they will not lose to both KC and Tampa, and instead will lose a game to an inferior opponent like TN, or perhaps a real stinker against NO on the road. I think they beat KC.
  13. So are you saying there is something wrong with that?
  14. He was not injured last year. He had Covid and developed myocarditis as a result, which is one of the ways a Covid infection can cause additional damage to young healthy people. He was fourth on the depth chart his rookie year.
  15. Peter King has never been a particularly insightful analyst. His opinions are worth the proverbial grain of salt.
  16. I thought Mac Jones was going to be the new Chad Pennington? In any case, the league has progressed a great deal since the days of Chad. He would not succeed in today’s game either, just like either of these bozos - Tua and Jones.
  17. You really are clueless.
  18. Prediction for tonight: All three of the Bills backup QB’s will look better than the Pats potential starters.
  19. Wilson will be crying for his Mama by week 8 if not sooner. Nothing in his patty-cake career at BYU has prepared him for the NFL and the Jets certainly don’t seem to be doing it.
  20. The injury concern is overblown given he has not missed a game to injury the past two years, and that he has missed a total of 14 games in 11 seasons of his career. However, at his age, it is certainly possible, but that is what the depth is for. When healthy, other than Diggs and Beasley, the Bills have no other WR in the same class as Sanders. Not even close at this point, while they do have some potential. Sanders is far better than Brown was and the Bills needed that upgrade. If he does go down, I feel confident that a combination of Davis, Kumerow, and Hodgins can fill the void, but make no mistake, Sanders is more dynamic than any of those options.
  21. I think the depth chart at this stage is structured largely as a motivational tool, rewarding some players for their effort to date and giving some others a wake up call.
  22. I agree, playoff football, unless your opponent is Brady apparently. Good to see they are taking the lesson to heart.
  23. This is really good coaching by the Bills, surely designed as a response to the way our receivers were pushed around by KC in the Championship game. (Which of course they were not allowed to do the following week vs. Brady’s receivers)
