  1. Since they just negotiated a new contract, it is not clear to me how he expects this to happen. What is he planning to put on the table in terms of concessions? It seemed to me that the lack of the usual off season camps and workouts had several negative impacts, including: - lack of proper conditioning leading to higher incidents of soft tissues injuries early in the year. - inability of teams to adequately evaluate and train rookies and new players and incorporate them. - for teams with less continuity than the Bills, a major disadvantage in terms of establishing culture, learning new systems, etc.
  2. Marrone and Bill O’Brien are going to start a consulting company to advise organizations on how to achieve mediocrity. He got us to 9/7 because the Pats decided not to contest the season finale so let’s not give him too much credit for his crowning achievement as Bills coach. He does not belong in the NFL.
  3. LOL, yes please. I loved that line from the promo spot. Made me think unclean thoughts.
  4. Yes, they treated him like a man and he paid them back by quitting like a spoiled school girl.
  5. In Pats fan world, arrogance is a virtue.
  6. There will be no problem controlling tailgating. The stadium lots will surely be heavily patrolled. I believe the off site private lots require permits from Orchard Park which they will surely not get. This will also be relatively easy to police. Some will find ways to subvert the rules I am sure, but largely, tailgating will not be a thing.
  7. I Remember when the Pats made that same shift, left the outside man uncovered, and blocked the punt. The Bills were ready for it this time. And yes, it is arrogance on BB’s part.
  8. This is what I have observed as well. His decision making other QB skill may get better as he gains experience, but strong armed he is not.
  9. Right. Everyone played under the same rules. It was incumbent on the teams to ensure players and coaches were following the rules, staying safe, etc and also that they had back up plans. Some teams were poor at it, some were unlucky, but I see no difference between this and any other year when injuries can and do affect teams ability to win.
  10. It does not have to hit the ground to be a fumble. There was no throwing motion, forward or backward. The ball was stripped out. That’s a fumble.
  11. If Marrone is still the coach, the pick will be either an offensive or defensive tackle.
  12. It is impressive just how far the Bills WR depth has come in the last several years to think a useful WR like Kumerow is no better than fifth option, assuming you do not count Roberts. Diggs, Brown, and Beasley are as good as it gets and Davis has certainly established his bonafides. MacKenzie has significant value in his role. They have to keep Roberts. Let’s not forget that they have another very promising rookie in waiting with Hodgins. I would love to see them resign Kumerow to the practice squad, but his chances of making the active roster, barring injury, are slim. (Better than Duke Williams though)
  13. Just like Harbaugh, out of the league too long. I would fear the game has passed them both well by.
  14. John Brown. Likely a move to activate him to the active roster.
  15. Hopefully can keep him. He made a damn fine number five WR.
  16. That is an uninspiring list, even without Doug Marrone and Bill O’Brien on it. I would not choose a single one.
  17. Cousins was disliked in WA as well. Not a leader.
  18. He was back in the game after the fumble, and had a big kickoff return to open the second half.
  19. Seriously. I cannot recall ever caring one bit what he has to say about anything. He is, quite literally, a nitwit.
  20. I absolutely do not want them to take their foot off the gas at this point. Coasting for two games is a sure way to be flat for the playoffs and we will have another early exit.
  21. Potential to have a very short tenure around here.
  22. No inactive yet? Can’t find them ....
  23. He spent a few games trying to play though knee and ankle injuries that were not fully healed and he did not look to be the same player, and then he was hurt again. Especially against Denver, they do not need him and he should not play. Give him another week of practice and then make a decision on next week. They need him healthy for the playoffs.
  24. Also an extra inline blocker to make up for Lee “Crazy Legs” Smith being out.
