Denver Bronco's seem to be the real deal
FLFan replied to Kwai San's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If by “the real deal” you mean that their 4-8 record accurately reflects their team, then I would agree. Good looking 4-8 team. -

So true. I think I will hold off until the back nine this afternoon. -

Good for him. He has made some good money and his skills were clearly eroded. I wish him well. Class act.

Week 13: Bills at 49ers on MNF (in Arizona)
FLFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The AZ loss did lower that margin of error, but I do not think it will matter. The Bills actually have a very solid chance of winning out. This week, SF is not in their class. I really do not expect this game to be all that close. -
Allen was already down and the ball was gone. That last twisting body slam to the ground was unnecessary. Lucky not to get a concussion on that. Borderline for a call I suppose, but I don’t buy his innocent act for a second.

Should we give the Bills a pass vs. LAC???
FLFan replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are giving them a pass for a win. How magnanimous of you. Have you ever watched a football game before? You certainly do not demonstrate any understanding of the game. Go trolling somewhere else. -
Week 12 Post Game thread Bills vs Chargers
FLFan replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not the Bills best game today, but they were clearly the better team, they held Herbert down better than virtually anyone else all year, and won the game easily. This should be encouraging to Bills fans. They dominated a team that has played many close games on a day when they were not their best. Be happy for crying out loud.- 392 replies

Lions fire HC Matt Patricia and GM Bob Quinn
FLFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BOB achieved mediocrity in a weak division, and then became GM and mismanaged them into obscurity. Great job. He is Doug Marrone. -

Way to ruin the narrative that he is fat and out of shape so he can no longer run effectively. Killjoy.

I am sure they felt he was recovered enough from the knee to play, although he was clearly not at 100%, and probably will not be this year. He was definitely lacking full speed and acceleration the last couple of games he has played. He has tried to play though this and his importance to the team even less than fully healthy is obvious. The ankle was another bad break for him. Hopefully he will be available for SF, but another week of rest for him would not be the worst thing.

The only thing he is the GOAT at is being a whining p•••• He has that down and always has.

Looks like Norman is back, so probably not. Perfect November football weather, at least for the Bills.

Keith Lincoln got all of Mike Stratton’s standing red buffalo on this play. Will there be a repeat this Sunday? https://www.buffalorumblings.com/pages/1964-afl-champions -
Yes, as I am sure each of those three players has already said, but sometimes great players make great plays. That is what Hopkins is and did.
-
Meh. That’s not a strike. It’s called a Hail Mary. He threw it up for grabs in the end zone, which is what he was supposed to do. The WR made the play.
-
I would rate him as a better version of Lamar, but not in Josh’s class as a QB. That Hail Mary play had a hell of a lot more to do with the exceptional talent of Hopkins than it did with Murray. There are many QBs who can scramble to buy time and throw it up for grabs in the end zone. This was not some spectacular play by Murray. It was a spectacular play by the WR.
-
Yes, this was predictable. LaMar is not a real QB, and Roman is a one trick pony.

Postgame Thread Bills vs. Seahawks

This just in: the Bills are really good. Maybe now people will start relaxing a bit and just enjoy the ride. (Yeah, probably not) -
You know, I am just not sure if Allen is a franchise quarterback. I mean, he does not play this way very week! 😎
