  1. And Blackshear is? Pass the bowl ...
  2. Shakir had a tough game and I think the caution the Bills staff showed in playing him was proven correct. I think he will be fine, but that was certainly a poor debut.
  3. The Dolphins have not played a good team yet. NE is awful, and Baltimore is not much better. At least they have a QB who can make plays with his legs. The Ravens Defense is more than suspect. Anything can happen obviously, but the Bills, even with a handful of backups in the game, is a far superior team to the Dolphins with superior coaching. Quality will out. Tua will have hard time completing passes to waddle and hill from his backside.
  4. I am, unfortunately. I think I am going to jump off the bridge now.
  5. Are you new around here? People will never let it die. If the Bills win the SB some people will B word that it should have been two in a row.
  6. It’s obviously a conspiracy.
  7. Hilarious. We are going to find out what he can and can’t do soon enough. For the record though, Tua cannot make that play Allen did.
  8. What a satisfying win! Plenty to improve on, but dominating without our best stuff is hugely encouraging.
  9. Well, say goodbye to James Cook for the next 6 or 8 weeks.
  10. That’s what I thought, but I would need to see a relay to determine if MacKenzie was in control of the ball at the time.
  11. Because there were games when that was the option they needed to win, or were you not watching?
  12. Watching those highlights gave me a woody.
  13. Do you seriously not understand this in relation to Buffalos’ offense and the fact that have had three excellent wide receivers getting the bulk of targets?
  14. Gesicki is currently franchised and will get paid more than Knox next year unless he totally craps the bed this year. In two years time Knox will be barely being paid in the top 12 or so tight ends. Knox is far from mediocre, even if not elite.
  15. Whether the penalties in the Chiefs game were earned or not, this crew did call the most penalties in the NFL last year. Thats not a sign of competence in my opinion. It is hard to imagine for me why the NFL would put this crew in position to wreck a marquee matchup of potential Super Bowl foes in its opening game of the year. Perhaps they they been coached up, or perhaps we will be quoting Marv Levy after the game that this referee is “an over officious jerk”.
  16. Excellent post. Hit the nail on the head. Stats only tell part of the story here. Knox has improved each year and is poised to take another step. It takes time to grow a tight end. TEs that are ready to play and contribute out of college are a rare commodity. Knox is there now and the Bills do not want to start over. He plays a critical role on the team and will likely see an even bigger role going forward. This contract will look like a bargain in two years.
  17. While you are hoping you should hope for a replacement to magically appear who is nearly as good, because he is not on the roster now.
  18. Most of Mac Jones’ deep balls are still floating somewhere.
  19. If the Bills are going to win this game it is going to be because the defense made critical stops, or turned the ball over at critical times. The offense will do their part. Von Miller and Ed Oliver will shine.
  20. The two things are not at all related. Jones is a ST player and will dress for that reason, each week. Cook and Moss will be interesting. I expect both to dress most of the time. There may be weeks where they do not see a role for Cook, but I think that will be rare.
  21. There is zero chance he comes back here. He is done as a player and the coaching staff and management are done with him.
  22. The premise of the article is a valid question, but in typical Florio style, it lacks any real substance. Another clickbait hit piece from the master of poor analysis.
  23. Is there a reason why this thread is not pinned? It would be helpful if it was, as per tradition.
  24. Belicheat is well past his “use by” date. The longer he stays in place in NE, the longer that team will be irrelevant. This articles does a great job of explaining why. Could not happen to a nicer guy. He should have ridden into the sunset when he was still relatively on top when Brady left. His ego would not let him.
  25. I simply do not understand how anyone could be expected to take anything seriously that is being said by a grown man who calls himself Booger.
