  1. I am not sure why people are not more excited by this signing. Exactly what the doctor ordered in my opinion to replace Beasley. When both he and Beasley were free agents, this is the player being talked up around here, but the Jets overpayed and got him. Josh will be the best QB he has ever played with and second is not even close. Even so, he has put up good numbers. This was needed. I do not believe MacKenzie is a full time slot receiver. If this signing works, it puts MacKenzie where he belongs on the depth chart, and certainly does not preclude them from looking for a true speed wide out in the draft to ultimately push Davis and Diggs. I am very happy with this move.
  2. Here we go. The first of the annual” the Browns are a juggernaut” posts. The Browns are the Browns, with or without Watson.
  3. A really good punter will be critical for the Panthers this year for all those drives that Darnold does not turn the ball over.
  4. Sorry. I did not mean to sound like I was preaching to you.
  5. What can be proved in a criminal case and what is quite possibly true when it comes to sexual assault are two very different things, as many, many women could no doubt explain to you in detail. Any man with 22 sexual assault allegations against him is very likely guilty of being an absolute dirtbag at the very least. Personally, as crappy as this sounds, I wish him and the Browns all the worst. The whole situation is disgusting to me.
  6. This would not surprise me. The Bills are not going to spend significant dollars on a back up QB. Fitz made $10 mil last year. Mariotta would be in that same range. I thought Kyle Allen made some sense but he is gone. Slim pickings out there with cheap contracts.
  7. I was never interested in that POS being on the Bills.
  8. Well it certainly would seem Star might not want to take the spring off if he wants to be on the team this year. Very interesting comment by the Coach.
  9. I think you make a good point, but I also think it is more than that. Baker has always had a sense of self entitlement. I think generally there is an over abundance of that in our current social structure. Not sure of exactly how we got there, and I certainly would not assert that it is necessary representative of a particular generation, but I would assert that it is all too prevalent in today's society. Taking responsibility for one's own success and failure and actions seems to be a quaint anachronistic concept anymore. That is Baker in my opinion. Why not just recognize your part in the situation (he has played poorly after all) , keep your feelings to yourself, take the high road and work toward getting what you want. I really do not care how he "feels" about anything, but I do now think he a bigger jerk than I thought before, despite the fact that Browns behaved rather badly here as well. I am really happy he is not our problem as he will never be an adequate leader IMO.
  10. He is not a great football player. He largely underperformed his first three years, had a big year in McD's rotation system in year 4, cashed in and proceeded to revert to form. He could be a useful rotational piece for the Bills in their system if he is motivated to play. That is his ceiling. Not great.
  11. As usual, Belicheat the genius is playing 4D chess. We can’t possibly understand the depths of strategy.
  12. Sure I do. Just not convinced that is what he represents.
  13. This is a very low commitment for a guy with tremendous potential. If he can turn it around with the Bills he would be due a very big payday. Very good prove it deal for the Bills. Definite upgrade to what they have behind Knox.
  14. You mean you might be wrong for once?
  15. Good for him, but I would rather have seen him on the Steelers.
  16. Exactly. Biggest money, close to where he has been playing, and Vegas is a bigger, much more happening city than Buffalo for a rich young athlete. By the way, the weather is also better. This was never going to happen. Pretty funny to watch the hysterics. My guess is they resign Hughes and go with the youngsters.
  17. All people had to say about him year after year is they needed an upgrade at that position. It was time to move on, even at that price. That position will get fleshed out in the coming weeks and months. Another point here is that the Bills cannot, nor can any team, 1afford to pay significant dollars to every position. We are already paying two top safeties and a top CB, as well as the nickel CB. Gonna have to find a cost effective CB 2. I actually think Dane Jackson will be fine but they could definitely use a depth upgrade. Top three rounds priority in this draft, if not number 1.
  18. I agree. I don’t see that with Harry. Wish him well though.
  19. This is a cost effective replacement for Phillips.
  20. He could be well off his best years and still be a big upgrade over the Bills current guards.
  21. Sadly, it probably won’t.
  22. This is the least surprising news of the year so far. Drama queen.
