At least until Mac Jones turns out to be the second coming of Brian Hoyer and not Tom Brady.

In my opinion, the is no reason to take AB at his word. This is classic behavior for him. Nothing is ever his fault. He has never taken responsibility for his behavior. No surprise he has an AB spin ready for this one. Arians is a tool so nothing would surprise me, but Brown should not get the benefit of the doubt.

What a relief! His opportunity to be the next Mike Gillislee is still intact.

All the writer did was speak the truth about what he thinks of Rogers- that he is an arrogant selfish jerk. He has been for a long time and that is not related to vaccination status, respite Rogers claim. He just is and keeps proving it. There is a strong argument to be made there based on many factors. I am sure he is not the only voter that feels that way, and not the only voter whose vote will be influenced by that, just the one dumb enough to say it out loud.

If it is Pats vs Bills on Monday night, which seems likely, I think it is ideal for the Bills and great entertainment. Josh has mostly been a big time night game performer, it would be an insane environment, and great fun for the fans. Suck it up OP. A real Bills fan would call in sick regardless of what is scheduled. Gotta take one for the team. The best ability is availability.

Week 18: Jets at Bills - a W wins the AFC East!
FLFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Colts will not be able to hide Carson Wentz in the playoffs. There will come a time when the game will be in his hands and that will be the real test for the Colts, one which he will very likely fail. -
No, not everyone agrees with your assessment. I am not sure what part of the game you felt indicated the Bills were soft. The holding the opposition to under 280 yards and 13 points on offense? Or maybe the running for 233 yards on their defense? Maybe it was the 5 sacks of their QB? Enlighten us please on how that performance was soft.

1/2/2022 Week 17 Gameday Bills vs Falcons 1st Half Thread
FLFan replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was a catch. -
I certainly agree with this and presume the coaches do as well. I expect no let up in this game. Nothing is clinched, nothing is certain, and there are no “gimmes” in the NFL. Out and out domination is the only correct response by the Bills in this game.

The Governor has said she wants the deal in place prior to the conclusion of the upcoming state budget negotiations. Both sides have recently indicated that good progress is being made. End of year was never a real deadline, just a goal. Nothing to see here, just Timmy being Timmy, trying to drum up controversy.

Pro Football HOF Class of '22 Finalists [no Tasker]
FLFan replied to Never NEVER Give-up's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tasker completely changed the role of special teams in the NFL and how teams played kick and punt coverage. He should be recognized for that. There was not a reserved special teams player role on the pro bowl squad before Tasker. He won games for the Bills on numerous occasions. He was dominant. Should have been recognized years ago. Putting Hester in before him would be shear ignorance. -
many people seem to miss the basic concept that the Bills do not play a 4/3 as a primary defense and therefore do not play a true middle linebacker on the vast majority of their plays. They can call his position whatever they want, but he is not intended in that role primarily, as a rush stuffing MLB . They certainly do not play a 3/4 where a rush LB in the mold of Edmunds would be usable, a la TJ Watt as the OP suggested. Not to mention he has never played that position. If they wanted a player in the mold of a 1970s middle linebacker, they may have drafted one, but that is not how the game is played now, and certainly not the design of the Bills defense. If they wanted a rush linebacker out there of a 3/4 like Watt and Pittsburgh, then they would have designed the defense that way and drafted appropriately. Edmunds is doing precisely what he was drafted to do positionally. Other than all of that, this is a perfectly rational conversation.

Community spread is the issue they have now chosen to ignore. The players do not live in a vacuum or a bubble with just other players. Just saying.

Hot take of the week so far.

The fans, writers, and national media touting the Patriots as Super Bowl contenders were always delusional. Beating up on bad teams - yes. One trick pony at QB - yes. They are at least a year away from being serious contenders and that assumes Jones has not yet peaked.

Looks like the Bills performance against the Jags probably took Daboll out of any consideration, as it should have.
