Your hyperbole aside, let’s try and look at the bigger picture here, right? Beasley has not been as impactful on the field as last year, has been a major distraction and source of dissension within the team, to the point of McD benching him earlier this year, and is now letting down his team in the most important game of the year. He is not worth the trouble going forward, particularly at his contract value. His production is replaceable. He is done with the Bills in my opinion. I am sure many disagree, but he will not be on the Bills next year in my opinion.

It now only remains to be seen who else he infected. I am shocked it took this long. He should be among Beane’s first cuts this offseason.

Of course. That goes without saying.

12/19/21 Gameday Bills vs Panthers Postgame Thread
FLFan replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
When I woke up this morning and learned that the Bills would be minus two starters on the OL to Covid, meaning that effectively only one starting player would be in their preferred OL position, I would have been happy to take 20 points against one of the leagues better defenses. Instead, the Bills scored 31, even though 20 would have been enough to win. Great effort by the Bills today. People complaining about this win are simply clueless.- 237 replies

December 6, 2021 Gameday Bills vs. Patriots* Pregame Thread

I agree. Turnovers are key to the game of course. The Bills cannot afford to lose that battle against NE. They ar not going to beat us running. They need Jones to play lights out and I think that is unlikely. -
Feliciano’s play has dropped off this year. Boettger is playing at least as well in his absence.

.I think the weather favors the Bills. Passing will be difficult for both teams, but I will take the QB with the stronger arm and and a history of playing in winter conditions. Mac Jones has neither. NE will be even more one dimensional than usual. For all the talk about their running game, they really are nothing special there. They are not about to over power the Bills like Indy did, especially without much threat from their play action passing game. The Bills will be far less limited in their play calling. Their QB is no threat to run and ours is. The Bills have a better kicker as well. I think the Bills put up at least 20. The Pats will be lucky to break into double digits. This all assumes of course a fairly called game. Big assumption. -
Quietly the Dolphins are the 2nd hottest team in the AFC right now

Not so quietly, the OP is the worst poster on TBD at this point in the season. -
Sunday late thread: Baltimore at Pittsburgh
FLFan replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills are easily the best team of any in the AFC that played today. We will find out tomorrow about NE. -
There is a bit of hyperbole there no doubt, but it is also a fact that players and coaches around the league have more respect for the Bills than most media representatives and a growing contingent of fans.

If Pittsburgh was even mediocre on Offense this game could be over, but they are terrible. -

Classic Lamar. Love it. -
It’s a good thing he is getting this cleared up now because he will want to use that branding for his Hall of Fame Induction promotional materials.

Bills fans just need to get used to and deal with the fact that we are not and never have been media darlings. We had a brief respite last year and the beginning of this year, but frankly most of the praise, like most of the criticism now, was shallow and misguided. Now that there have been a couple of bumps in the road, the media have dived off the bandwagon and moved on to more compelling story lines (ie appeal to more people). It was this way in the 90s as well. Just like the the bandwagon fans who have leaped off in mass, they will be back when results force them to be.

It is hard to say who will benefit more from this forecast. The easy answer might be NE with the supposed better run game, but not so fast. If throwing conditions are indeed difficult, give me the guy with the strongest arm every time. If I am the Bills, I load up against the run on early downs and dare Jones to beat me with his arm. His game is based on timing and accuracy. The cold, wind, and precipitation will be a major disadvantage for him. The Bills will still have a pass or run threat, including Allen running.
