  1. You missed the point.
  2. The only thing worse than a Pats fan trolling our board is a Pats fan trolling our board who pretends he is not.
  3. He received one call up this year and apparently has not impressed. Great athlete but apparently just can’t play the position.
  4. Well, they have not won 8 in a row yet, and odds are against that in TN, but their streak is impressive given how they started. In my opinion though, the Coach of the Year does not lose 7 games in a row requiring a heroic finish. He has issues. Tua is better than Mac Jones, but he is far from an elite QB and never will be. He has folded like a cheap suit each time against Buffalo, when he can even finish the game. He has had a nice run against mediocre competition, just like Jones did, and now that is over for this year.
  5. Lots of confused people on this thread.
  6. Sounds like a typical Pats fan response. Good one by Nate.
  7. I think you are looking past his faults. Jones was awful today. Inaccurate, panicked at times. He has his moments, yes, but by in large he was very poor. His lack of arm strength was obvious, he made some very bad reads, some very inaccurate passes, and some panicked throws. When it counted in the first three quarters he could not help his team. Your defense was not the primary culprit today. It is just that they played a better team, with a very good offense and just as good a defense and the faults in their D showed. The bigger problem is the offense for NE. Ultimately, they could not hide Jones’ faults today.
  8. C’mon man. He reached out his leg and tripped him.
  9. Another snarky, circle the wagons response from Tim Graham. First of all, what would he know about what would be top of mind to an NFL player coming off a field? Not that he has experienced that or anything close to it. Second, Poyer is right to call out the buffoonery from Sullivan. I suspect the massive disrespect they have received from the local media was a motivating factor. Whatever works.
  10. That is the second time in 4 tries. Two in a row.
  11. Jerry is and always has been giant d...
  12. Agreed, but first they need to sign him.
  13. After watching his last over the last three weeks, I honestly think Tua is better. Not saying much, obviously.
  14. This is just about the worst take I have ever seen.
  15. That is a catch that a real NFL receiver makes. That’s why he is a bottom of the roster social teams guy.
  16. Yes, the announcers said that. Good pull.
  17. I did not, but I approve the message.
  18. This was my worst fear- that McD and Daboll try to play ball control with NE rather than play to strength. Bad Idea.
  19. Certainly a valid idea, I just think the Pats are better at defending that formation than the Bills are at running it.
  20. I agree with your observations. I have seen the same things. He has only 1 TD, and so far has the lowest YPC of his career. He will certainly not reach last year’s catch numbers or yardage. There could be many reasons for the fall of in production, but continuing nagging injuries and the culmination of years of abuse on his body cannot be discounted as root causes. I would like to see Stevenson get some reps. NE certainly has no one who can keep up with him.
  21. I hope not. Every time they telegraph their intent and/or limit their options via the offensive formation, they are playing into Belicheat’s hands. It’s like giving them a stop. That is not the way to win, as the last game should have taught them.
  22. What a kitty.
  23. Despite all the Sanders hate around here, they absolutely need him this week to play the slot with Beasley out. I do not trust McKenzie to play that position full time in a critical game. Sanders can get open.
  24. I am not sure where the evidence of that is. McD is 2&1 head to head against Tomlin. They lost this game on a blocked punt and some bad luck.
