Buffalo vs New England Wildcard Game: 8:15 PM Saturday Night
FLFan replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is absolutely the right take on this game. McD tried to play Billy’s game through the first half and beyond and that did not work offensively because that is not their strength and it was exactly the game Belichick was trying to sucker him into playing. Once he let Josh be the superior athlete he is, for the most part, they started to move the ball. The bills should have won this game. I believe they would have had McD gotten his head out of his behind sooner. He corrected this in the second game, instead dictating to the Patriots how the game would be played. -
I think they should bring in a Bill O’Brien/Doug Marrone combo as GM and Coach. The funny thing is they might actually improve over what they have had.

Jets HC Robert Saleh: Bills are the best team he has faced.

Well it only took three posts for the first “yeah, but” response. -
I am firing the coach who lost seven in a row before that. Inexcusable to have that start with that team, especially on top of previous failures.

What did Lamont do again this year? -
Wow. The dog game of the week on Sunday night. NBC got screwed.

He is not a true number one but I love his game. He would look great in the slot in Buffalo. I would love the Bills to take a run at him with a solid RFA offer. I expect the Pats will fight to keep him.

Calling it now: Devin will be a 1000 yard back this year

What is interesting is that of that list, only 3 backs play for playoff teams, and The Steelers barely count. Not such an important achievement anymore. -

No, but looks like a RB heavy lineup. I expect Daboll plans to feature running against the worst pass defense in the league. -

I am not blaming the QB. I am blaming Andy Reid. It is Mahomes that has finally made him the “genius” coach he is today. Otherwise, he would still likely be losing big games as per usual. -

That was a very unimpressive performance by the Chiefs, to say the least. Very beatable team. -

In reality, Reid was widely regarded as a good coach but not great, having failed to advance his teams to the championship game and beyond repeatedly over many years. Thats why he was no longer in Philly, and why the vultures were circling in KC. This changed with the arrival of Mahomes. Reid never had a QB as good as Mahomes and that has made the difference. -

Mahomes has been mediocre in this game. No, I did not doubt that KC would win, but in the ineptitude of Denver, not Mahomes, is responsible. -
Week 18: Jets at Bills - a W wins the AFC East!
FLFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
True enough about the Jets, but he also flamed out in Miami, and three of his four years in Buffalo were mediocre at best. He had a decent year in his contract year, but that’s it. He is not worth the phone call in my opinion at this point. -

The sham that is Shaq is finally apparent to even the lowly Jets. -
Yes, please.

At least until Mac Jones turns out to be the second coming of Brian Hoyer and not Tom Brady.

In my opinion, the is no reason to take AB at his word. This is classic behavior for him. Nothing is ever his fault. He has never taken responsibility for his behavior. No surprise he has an AB spin ready for this one. Arians is a tool so nothing would surprise me, but Brown should not get the benefit of the doubt.

What a relief! His opportunity to be the next Mike Gillislee is still intact.
