  1. Prediction for tonight: All three of the Bills backup QB’s will look better than the Pats potential starters.
  2. Wilson will be crying for his Mama by week 8 if not sooner. Nothing in his patty-cake career at BYU has prepared him for the NFL and the Jets certainly don’t seem to be doing it.
  3. The injury concern is overblown given he has not missed a game to injury the past two years, and that he has missed a total of 14 games in 11 seasons of his career. However, at his age, it is certainly possible, but that is what the depth is for. When healthy, other than Diggs and Beasley, the Bills have no other WR in the same class as Sanders. Not even close at this point, while they do have some potential. Sanders is far better than Brown was and the Bills needed that upgrade. If he does go down, I feel confident that a combination of Davis, Kumerow, and Hodgins can fill the void, but make no mistake, Sanders is more dynamic than any of those options.
  4. I think the depth chart at this stage is structured largely as a motivational tool, rewarding some players for their effort to date and giving some others a wake up call.
  5. I agree, playoff football, unless your opponent is Brady apparently. Good to see they are taking the lesson to heart.
  6. This is really good coaching by the Bills, surely designed as a response to the way our receivers were pushed around by KC in the Championship game. (Which of course they were not allowed to do the following week vs. Brady’s receivers)
  7. Special shout out to Badol for an outstanding analysis of the Bills RB and running game situation.
  8. Probably would still get you Cousins.
  9. Don’t confuse him with logic.
  10. When that new stadium gets built, you will be wishing for those types of increases as opposed to what you will likely see.
  11. That is certainly a possibility. It will be interesting to see how the Ravens and Lamar’s Mom manage this.
  12. I think it is likely that Baltimore will overpay Lamar and doom themselves to mediocrity as a result. I think Cleveland will try to be more conservative with the Baker Boy but he will demand more. Again, glad we are first in the clubhouse with this deal.
  13. I am very happy the Bills got this done before Baltimore and Cleveland. Both those team were likely to overpay for inferior talents which would have pushed Josh’s price up. Let them react to us.
  14. Your lack of understanding was already abundantly clear.
  15. Is delusional your natural state or are you smoking crack?
  16. He reminds me of Alex VanPelt, who was known as the Pillsbury Dough Boy. Same arm strength as well.
  17. I think this is going to end badly for the Jets. This kid is a long way from NFL ready, and there is absolutely no backup plan.
  18. Lamar is a bit of a slow learner. This is the second time he has had Covid. On a brighter note for the Ravens, he does not need much training camp time. He already knows how to run. That’s too bad.
  19. As far as I know, this is not a choice McDermott gets to make. He can respect Beasley’s beliefs all he wants, but the protocols are league mandated as are the consequences of not following them, for individuals and the team.
  20. Marcel makes it sound like this is some sort of surprise.
  21. Yes, but investing that kind of money into that position would be a foolish use of resources.
  22. I remember this game well. We were sitting in the scoreboard end zone. OJ was injured just before halftime and helped off the field. Some Raider fans in the end zone decided to stand up and cheer that OJ was out hurt. This did not sit well with the well lubricated end zone fans, some of whom immediately moved toward the offending Raider faithful and beat the living crap out of them. Security personnel moved in and escorted the Raider fans from the stadium. Oh, and the Bills won in a thriller made all the more impressive because OJ missed the second half.
